Awe, I’m so sad that everyone else had a bad experience here, but I had a great experience. Someone asked me if I needed help. She answered my questions about running shoes and checked two pairs of shoes for me for availability. I saw an Asics shoe on sale for $ 99. After trying it on, I liked it but wanted to browse other shoe stores so I asked her to hold it for me. I ended up buying a pair of Nike Air Max at Shoe Palace and returned to Lady Food Locker to compare both shoes. My brother who was helping me pick out running shoes since he’s a runner, said that the appearance doesn’t matter. I said, «appearance gives confidence to some females» and the worker agreed with me. Brownie points for her for ganging up on my brother with me! I explained to her that I like the colors and looks of the Nike Air Max and she agreed that they’re good, comfortable shoes(I was shocked ’cause usually workers would persuade customers to buy their shoes and not compliment shoes sold at other stores). After a long debate, I got the Asics too. Yay for Maria(that’s what the name says for cashier on the receipt) for being awesome. I never had a good conversation or customer service at a shoe store before! Usually people don’t want to help me because I look so young and it’s assumed I’m a window shopper.

Very bad customer service by the associate. She was so not friendly and did not compromise to work something out — she did not offer me another shoe for the one which I was looking for, she said(oh no we don’t have any other sizes except for what you see) with a loud voice tone :(

Not a very pleasant experience with poor customer service, the store was not even busy!

I saw an Adidas shirt here yesterday that I thought my wife would like so we walked in. There were three ladies working the floor but they were just standing around chatting and *not one of them* said hello when we walked in or asked us if we needed assistance. I had to dig out the right size shirt myself for my wife to try on and well, at least they unlocked the dressing room for her when she asked them to. We were on the fence about buying the shirt and really, maybe if one of the three ladies working there had said, «Hey, that looks good on you» that might have clinched it. Instead they chose to completely ignore us so we walked out. If I were the store owner I would have fired all three of them and sent them packing right away.

Yay! I’m the first one to review :-) that’s never happened to me before! Anyway, I figured I’d review this place because the customer service was amazing. Unfortunately I forgot her name, so I can’t give her a thumbs up by acknowledging her personally. But I was coming in with the goal of buying brand new running shoes(the ones I own now have been so used and loose that it might as well be working the streets hehe). I had a $ 100 gift card so I was stoked on using it and getting great running shoes. The sales associate was really friendly and helpful. She offered me plenty different kinds of shoes within decent price ranges and comfort/support levels. She helped measure my foot to get an accurate size and kept going to the back to get me more shoes that fit, which is something very memorable since I’m pretty used to being neglected. She also didn’t try to upsell me like crazy, woo! Finally got my Nikes with insole support. BRINGITON!
