Went here based on friends recommendations and I am so happy with the service I got. Needed to get my xenon headlights replaced and I was in and out in less than an hour and at a lot less than what I’ve been quoted. Michael and Sonny were both efficient and knowledgable. Exceeded my expectations, Thank you!

Sonny is the best. HONEST, RELIABLE and can be TRUSTED! I took my daughter’s car here to get repaired. We went to two repair shops prior to getting a quote from him. the other’s were quick to judge that may daughter’s car needed a new engine because they didn’t want to spend the time to diagnose the problem. Sonny was recommended by my friend. Not only did he fix the car but also SAVED us a lot of money. The shop is quite a drive from where I live but I go to him now for all my automotive needs including my oil changes. It is worth the drive because I trust him with my car and that he would not rip me off!

If you’re living in The «devil’s butthole» (AKA: The Valley) and need your car serviced, take it here and ask for Sunny! Sunny is LEGIT! He’s knowledgeable, quick, courteous and will give you a reasonable price to get your car serviced. I usually give him a call before coming –just to make sure, he isn’t too busy to take my car in that day.
The shop is located in a strip-​mall-​like area that specializes automotive needs –meaning there is a bunch of automotive shops clustered together with each shop has it’s own specialty for your car. Drive in the middle, through towards the back shops and it’s located on the right hand side. Tell him, Julie with the 2007 silver Z4 BMW, pink emblems sent you ;)

We have been going to Sonny at Cal Tech’s for almost 20 years. Over the years, he has moved further west, and we have moved somewhat east. This makes it quite inconvenient to get to him, but every time we have made an attempt to use a close mechanic, we regret it. Here are the reasons to make the drive to Caltech’s:
1. Sonny and his men are honest. They will tell you when it is not worth the money to work on your car, and they’ll tell you when it won’t hurt the car to wait for a while on a specific repair.
2. They are competent and quick with their work.
3. They have often gone above and beyond to make the inconvenience of getting our car in and out by offering rides and such (don’t know if I should mention that or if that’s just a perk for customers who have been coming for 10 or more years.)
4. Sonny’s prices have always beat anyone else we’ve tried. We once went to a highly recommended mechanic near our house to avoid high towing fees. After getting the estimate, I called Sonny to get a quote 25% lower– worth he effort to get my broken down 12 yr old car to him.
5. Because of Sonny and his crew, we’ve driven a Camry for 15 ½ years, and a Sienna for over 12 years. Now we have hopes that these cars last a while longer for our teenagers, and our newer cars will last just as long ((over 160,000 miles).
If you aren’t convinced, take your car to them and get a quote– you will not regret the effort!

Brought my poor car here looking for brake replacement as my car dealership says there was a lot of work needed for front and rear brakes. After my bf called many shops, we had our luck here by a recommendation through his father’s work colleague. Service was quick, price was very reasonable, and technician is honest and very helpful and informative. My rear brakes didn’t need replacement yet as stated by my car dealership. I guess they see a girl and think they can persuade me to get work done which wasn’t needed at this time. I can’t see myself going anywhere else but here for any future car issues… Let’s hope and pray not anytime soon!

I have to write this review because Sunny at Cal-​Tech has kept my 2000 BMW running like when i just bought it.
Sunny is FANTASTIC. At 11 years old, the average BMW would normally be on its last leg. I live far from his location but it doesn’t matter. i’ll drive all the way to see him, even if it’s just for an oil change. He has always been good to me, and he’s ALWAYS beaten the price of any other mechanic. It’s difficult to find a mechanic that you can trust, but Sunny has always been there for me.
So no matter what type of vehicle that you own, give Sunny a call. His customer service is TOP NOTCH and his price is UNBEATABLE…
