The price, quality and creativity of their drinks will get me coming back. This place out shine all the boba places I have gone to, because you can’t get these drinks anywhere else!!! Even with the basic drinks like a Mango slush… I would get it here because it’s about $ 1 less the the other boba places in the valley and the quality is the same or even better. Lol What we got 1) Simply Me is FRESHLYSQUEEZED grapefruit juice, honey and green tea… Simple and so refreshing!!! 2) kryptonite slush with boba, the drink was a fruity and refreshing… the boba had a nice soft bounce to it 3) Temptation smoothie was also fruity and tasted kinda like a Pink Starburst They also give you a free supersize upgrade when you check in on Facebook. Will be back for sure!!!

New favorite boba place. I’m not a fan of the names(they sound like cheesy, typical girly cocktails) but the menu is solid! I got a Blushing Pink slush on my first visit, and a Secret Garden slush on my most recent visit. Both are tea-based and have subtle infusions of different flavors – you can taste the lingonberry in BP, and basil in the SG. There is none of that cloying artificial syrup that’s commonly found in most boba shops, and if there is, it’s been hidden/executed well. Nice ratio of boba to tea to ice(for the slush). The bowl cups give a good bang for your buck, and the ample parking in the plaza is another plus. Rooftop is relatively bare nowadays due to the cold weather, but I could see it getting crowded(both inside and outside) during the summer.

I wasn’t going to write another review for Boba My Tea, but I was having cravings for their delicious gluten free macarons, made by real local French pastry chefs, as I was told. I bought a dozen to satisfy my sweet tooth! I got their new three flavors, GRAPEFRUIT, BLACKSESAME, CHAI, along with red velvet, vanilla, pistachio, praline, coffee, earl grey, blueberry lavender, chocolate, and lemon. To go with these delectable treats, I opted for something refreshing, and organic. I had the MYLUU green tea with honey boba. This drink has freshly squeezed orange juice, yes, freshly squeezed! You can see them grab the oranges and go outback to squeeze them. Of course, I checked into FACEBOOK to get a FREEUPGRADE. The service was quick, so I had some free time, since I was still waiting for my ramen next door. Reading through some Unilocal reviews before writing mine, I find it funny how some reviewers purposely and with bias write negative reviews, when they frequent another boba shop and/or affiliate themselves with another boba shop. This is so misleading to the Unilocal community. I’m not a boba expert, nor do I claim to be a food critic. But one thing I’m an expert on is great tasting food and drinks. Boba My Tea has great tasting drinks, and awesome macarons. The line out the door, and down the stairs says it all. A must try if you’re in the area!

Good place to hang out with friends. Was soo windy and cold. Waiting for the ramen next door and decided to seek for refuge in this place. Service was pleasantly nice and fast. Definitely will come back to try other drinks.

Never coming here ever again! I got super sick from their boba, I threw up twice the same night! — — — - This was my very first visit here. I ordered the honeydew milk tea slush with boba and pudding. I normally always get this at boba places. I had my usual breakfast(nothing out of the ordinary), then we got boba around noon, then a couple hours later I had lunch. I knew that it was this boba that upset my stomach because after I finished the whole thing, my stomach started hurting a little, but I didn’t think much of it. As the day progressed, my stomach pain kept getting worse and worse. So I thought, maybe eating lunch will help my stomach feel better. It didn’t. So I just carried on throughout the day and come night time, my stomach felt so horrible. I could not lie down. So then I threw it all up(sorry if this is tmi) All the boba and everything. It felt like the boba just did not digest in my stomach. Now idk what was wrong with my order, maybe the milk in the honeydew milk tea? Maybe bad boba or bad pudding? Idk. But all I know is that I am never going there again! Taking a break from boba.

Came here on a late Saturday night… Drinks here are always so yummy! From crafted signature milk frost drinks to a simple milk tea drinks, everything is so satisfying! Customer service is always top notch here, I always make sure that I tip them… They have yummy snacks too, but sometimes I wish they offer hot foods… will definitely be back more often!

My uncle actually brought me to this place and said I HAD to have it. Everywhere I go I always order Thai iced tea. This time I was in the mood to try something new! So I got the recommended kryptonite one as and it’s so good! I would get it again except I can’t break my Thai iced tea obsession. I’m gonna have to get that one next time! The only downside was the semi long line. But that only proves how good this place is! Definitely going back soon!

SERVICE: No bad attitude or anything, but nothing special. Girl who was standing behind the counter just kind of looked at me until another girl(the cashier I’m guessing) ran back to the cash register to take my order. Solid one minute of staring at each other. Awkward. The cashier girl was nice though. DRINKS: I had the honey lemon green tea with boba. And I don’t want to be rude, but it seriously tasted like @$$. I don’t know if something was wrong with the lemon part of it, but there was just such an off-putting taste. I could barely taste the honey, so I’m assuming that it wasn’t the honey. The boba was also average — not good, not bad. My friend ordered a honeydew smoothie with boba & he said it was good so maybe they’re better with the artificial drinks? Who knows. [I worked at a boba shop for 4 years during my college days, so I guess I can be a little picky. But how does one screw up honey lemon green tea??? :(Isn’t this a really simple drink? Definitely won’t be back for this.] AMBIANCE: There’s a projector showing Tom & Jerry cartoons, and there are neon lights that remind you somewhat of a bar. The lighting itself is dim, but not in a «this is on purpose, romantic or intimate dimmed lighting» way. More like the«this is an abandoned hospital & we really need to replace the light bulbs» way. AKA, not good for studying. However, the tables are decently sized for a few groups.

Came to Boba my Tea out of desperation for good boba and tasty drinks. Left being highly disappointed and here’s why. So I’ll keep it simple. The service was one star upon arrival. Just awkward stares and awkward silence. Drinks were below mediocre it’s hard to get good boba but this was just too chewy, overcooked.(I’m experienced in the boba business) Boyfriend ordered a mango tea with boba and lychee jelly. We could not finish the drink it was so bitter and difficult to intake. Three sips and we could not take anymore. I ordered a coconut slush kind of concoction it tasted pretty okay, and had some nice mango pieces in there a long with teeny tiny«crystal» boba. The only thing I was impressed with and deserved two stars. Macaroons would be better if someone had made them themselves. But you can’t really blame boba my tea for this, it was obviously from another bakery and frozen beforehand. Lastly, service wasn’t a total downward spiral. Towards the end the girl who had taken my order wasn’t the one to present the drinks. A much friendlier co-worker was the one to give us our order. So overall pretty crappy drinks, you can find better just look. Decent prices, I mean you get what you pay for. The atmosphere is like any«hip» boba place. With projected children’s shows(not a bad thing). And okay service depending on if you’re lucky or not I guess. Thanks Boba My Tea I’ll be back again if I’m desperate once more.

I don’t know what’s wrong with me. Maybe I was hiding under a rock or something. Why have I not tried boba before??? I was getting my nails done nearby and I usually notice this place and have always wanted to give it a try. Read some reviews by my lovely Unilocal friends that have gone here before and decided to stop by today. Thankfully when I walked in it wasn’t too packed but the guy working there was super sweet and very helpful. I literally told him what I was looking for and what his suggestions were probably went back anf forth at least 7mins. But thankfully another customer came in and ordered this Madagascar drink with cookies and boba. He had said oh yeah you should try that. I decided to give it a try and the guy was so nice and said if I didnt like it he would give me something else. Anyhowwww I ended up taking a sip and I was in total aweeee it was sooo good. I started singing to myself B O B A — B O B A. BOBA I love you!!! It was that good and forget starbucks this is my new go to drink. So the Madagascar was sweet but not overpowering sweet at all it was kinda like a milky slushy oreo slush and it had boba balls. Next time I will ask for less but I liked the jelly boba balls. Oh and their regular size is massive I didnt think I would be able to finish it all but dang I drank every last drop and finished with a slurp. I will definitely be back again. Great servicr, great prices, clean place. Incentives stamp card and upgrade to supersize if you check in on FB! Thanks for popping my Boba! :)

Just a great twist on boba, not just standard flavors but combinations like strawberry with pineapple, etc. I give five stars because it was more than I expected for boba and the price is good. I wish they could have another door though because it’s lined-up out the only door and it’s hard to get out. But a 30 person line says a lot about a place, especially when it’s on a second floor in a strip mall.

We ordered coffee and boba. Both were good. Didn’t care much previous owner of this place, cause she was rude. The new people were friendly. Boba was tasty.

Their regular and super are more or less the same in volume. If you know the experiment in which children are shown two cups both with the same volume but in different containers and asked which one is bigger and they point to the taller one, then you’ll know that this is the exact same thing applied except the consequences is money blown. I did a little experiment today where I filled the regular cup to the brim and filled the super with it and I found there’s only about a cm and a half left on the top. That’s about 2 oz for what I believe is a 50 cent price difference. I’m not too sure about the upgrade cost so don’t quote me on that. I’m not so much offended by the money lost but why there’s even an upgrade option at all. check below for a picture comparison.

I have to admit it’s been months since I came here. I didn’t give this place a fair chance. I had so many bad experiences during their soft opening until their grand opening and a few weeks after that. With that said we finally came back the other day and had a great experience. My BFs family ordered 11 drinks and one drink was suppose to have baby boba ended up having big boba. The owner realized it and told us this one was on the house if we didn’t like it. I on the other hand didn’t like how bitter my hot jasmine milk tea tasted. The owner fixed my drink and kindly gave me a side of jasmine tea in case it got bland from extra milk. I really like how they fix your drink until you like it. What to try: Secret garden easy on basil. Jasmine milk tea with egg pudding Milk tea Thai tea with extra half n half Taro taro(if you like fresh taro chunks) I’m still a huge Half and Half fan because their drinks are always consistant. :)

I paid this boba joint two visits in one week! Er, actually, it was more like one day after another, but I put the blame on my out-of-town family, who influenced me terribly over the Thanksgiving weekend, hehe. This place is located in the shopping center off of Nordhoff and Reseda, right above the Panda Express. AND it’s so close to CSUN, my alma mater, woot! Staff were friendly on both visits. «Paul», attended us today and was extremely energetic, enthusiastic, and patient during my long decision making process. Thanks, for the awesome service! Also, I say, «Paul», because he had told me that they had all switched name tags for the day… still not sure if he was just joking a bit, haha. I honestly made solid decisions on both visits. If you like the flowery type flavors like I do, you can’t go wrong with their Rose or Jasmine milk teas! My one complaint is that the establishment could use a bit more sprucing up. There are virtually no decorations, so the ambience is a little, umm, blah. ***Overall, good milk teas & boba at reasonable prices. Oh, and I forgot to mention, sizes are huge here! :D
