Manager refused to accept my manufacturers coupon because they had the product on sale. I drove 20 minutes to this store because they carry the item I have the coupon for. I won’t make that mistake again. She could’ve at least offered to show me their coupon policy which they keep at the register not online. I won’t be back.

I have to give a HUGE shout out to employee Kevin M. Why? Because Gatorade was advertised at 59 cents a bottle if you bought 10 bottles. Unfortunately, the flavor I wanted only came in 7 bottles so I needed 3 more to get the deal. Otherwise, it would cost me 88 cents per bottle. Kevin checked to see if there were anymore bottles left of Rain Berry, my mother’s favorite. There weren’t any. Kevin went ahead and rang up my purchases for 59 cents a bottle which he didn’t have to do. That’s good business. Now THAT’s class!!! Kevin, if you’re reading this, THANKYOU! THANKYOU! THANKYOU! I hope you get the recognition you deserve and something extra in your next paycheck!

If you have coupons NEVERGOTHROUGH A LINE! The cashier will not use them all. This has happened to me twice now. I’ve gotten home to check my receipts to find one two or three coupons I handed them that they DIDNOTUSE. If you have to shop here use the self check out! You can’t get cheated that way.

I love the deals at Albertsons. They have closed most and this one is the closest to my house. Employees are friendly and helpful, store is older but clean and well stocked. I hope they don’t close this location. I prefer them over Vons.

Went here late night after work to get a 6 pack and ended up buying the whole store. Prices were fair and u didn’t need to use my loyalty card because the prices were already discounted which I thought was pretty nice

Lori was our cashier. Lady in front of us max had twenty items. ITTOOKHALFANHOUR for her to tell this women she could only use two coupons per item. After the women left she managed to look at me and my fiend and tell us she would be right with us. She got someone to over ride her last transaction. She started scanned everything then when I was about to start helping her bag, because it was taking too long, someone showed up to help bag. Lori then asked whoever came to help bag, if bob had come back, in which she replied ‘your break will be coming shortly’.After the transaction was complete she said«sorry about the wait». I don’t think I will ever come back to this store to purchase groceries just because of the lack of motivation to help or make sure the customer is happy with their visit. Really unprofessional to ask about your break in front of a customer!

Just went to this albertsons to make a money gram order to send for bills. I get there and there are 2 people in line. 5 mins pass and I am up. Give the black man named tony my slip for money gram. He says nothing and pretends to be doing my transaction for 5 mins. I ask is there a problem and he is like my account number is wrong and I told him the number again and just acts like he is making the money gram order. So another 5 mins go by and tony typing away to say is this a bill or company? I’m like you been wasting my time for 10 mins just to say«is it for a business or person» «why didn’t you ask and I could say. he was a racist black guy. I am white with a Mohawk, I guess he was scared of me for no reason. Tony you need to find another job cause you are one sorry black man. I know your ghetto pass is revoked by how you act.

God bless whoever invented self checkout! This location is awesome and most of the people working here are the same since I’ve been a kid. Very knowledgeable and always around when you need them. Now back to my first statement, the lines can get crazy which is not the employees fault, its the fault of the customers for the most part. I like the cleanliness of this location, things are usually in stock and the produce is usually fresh. Great corner market and close enough to my house so that I don’t have to keep a warehouse full of food in the fridge and I can just buy enough for a few days at a time. Also there’s plenty of parking which is always a plus.

There used to be a lot of Albert sons in the San Fernando Valley. Now there are only 3 locations left. This Industry is competitive, however its hard for them to kept up with Walmart. Their prices are a lot lower than Albert-sons. Yea there are some items that are cheaper. but overall Walmart is less and you get more for your dollar. It has some the amenities a Super-lotto Machine, Red Box that is Real Popular now and a Chase ATM Machine inside. This location also his a Deli and a Bakery Department. The Cinnamon Rolls, yea I bought some.8 for $ 2.99.Fresh. They have been saying they are going to close this location. Maybe that’s why they don’t remodel this location and it really needs a make over. Overall not a bad shopping experience.

I don’t know why I decided to order a cake here for my daughters birthday but I did… I didn’t think you could go wrong with a princess cake from the catalog. I ordered a chocolate cake with fresh bananas with a Disney Princess and the Frog design two weeks before my daughters birthday party. When I went to pick up my cake there was only one person working the counter and they were swamped with customers. When I finally got my cake it looked horrible. It didn’t look anything like the design and all the colors were neon and bright instead of pastel like the picture. The design looked so rushed and ugly compared to the picture. It was very disappointing. Being in a rush and seeing how packed it was I didn’t have time to complain. The cake tasted fine but it looked down right tacky. I expected more for a 50 dollar cake =( Even my 6 year old said it looked«funky» and it was embarrassing to display at such a cute party.

This Albertson’s location is our neighborhood store. It ain’t the fanciest market in the area, but the people that work there are the best, from Tina in the Deli, to Cathy in the butcher shop, they’ll do anything to keep customers happy. The store is clean & well organized & produce is always fresh. We watch of course, for sales & they have amazing prices during their sales for some of our staples. Chocolate chip cookies made fresh in the bakery are fantastic. Chicken dinner specials, Pizza day specials, once you know when they are & you watch the sale flyers, you can get some great scores, too. We save additionally because we buy Albertson’s Cash Cards through the free Lyoness program online which pays us cashback & saves a bit, too. Check it out, sign up & get your card too, it’s good at a zillion online shops too.

I used to be a VONS and Ralph’s kinda gal, till I stumbled upon the Albertson’s on San Fernando Mission. That became my go-to store. Alas, like many of it’s predecessors, it is no more. There are only two or three Albertson’s left in the entire San Fernando Valley. The prices are comparable, if not better than the other local grocery chains. But what sets this location apart for me is their bakery goods, especially those chocolate chip cookies, super friendly folks at the deli, fresh… FRESH produce, and fresh meat. Ben & Jerry’s recently released a new line of ice cream called Core. I’ve combed the entire San Fernando valley, and found them here! Kudos to you Albertson’s for having items in stock!

Pretty okay grocery store. The earliest store I can remember coming to is here. I think it’s seen better days. We all know Albertsons is on its way out. Now with Target across the street selling groceries, Albertsons really needs to step it up. But we all know they won’t. I’m not talking about the employees. Everyone here is generally nice. However their selection isn’t extensive. Their displays seem old. The entire store needs a remodel but we know that isn’t going to happen. Parking lot is huge so that’s not a problem. Food is fresh though. It would be nice to see something exciting happen here.

Albertsons is super expensive compared to other supermarkets. I’m giving them a few stars for the following: 1. They have some of the best chocolate chip cookies in the bakery that I ever had! 2. They carry my Foster Farms Chicken strips Southwestern kind(other supermarkets don’t carry this) 3. The bakery items(cakes) are somehwhat cheap and good especially their snickers cake 4. Lastly, they have some really nice people working here and they have the self service check out! Other than that I don’t really shop here that much. I highly recommend you check out their bakery though.

I always shopped at a bigger Albertsons near my college, so by comparison this location was much smaller than the one I’m used to, but I found it to be much more friendly because of the small size. There was only one lane open, but an employee directed me to a self-checkout machine and nearly did all the work for me; and at the end, gave me a sample of their«holiday» grapes. And they were delicious. Gotta go back and get a bag of my own! To the reviewer who gave two stars: With all due respect… are you serious? It’s common knowledge that if you don’t have the membership, you don’t get the discounts. Signing up for one doesn’t even take that much time, so if you wanted the discount you could’ve just spent whatever time arguing with the employee to get one(and if you haven’t noticed, becoming an Albertsons member is FREE)! I’m giving five stars to hopefully even out your two measly ones – so basically, you’re docking points because they, uh, were doing their job? Ridiculous.

In general, I don’t venture to Albertson’s because their prices are way too expensive compared to my usual Food 4 Less or Ralph’s. I only go when there’s a REALLY good sale. Today I went to this Albertson’s to stock up on some buy one get one FREE Jennie-o ground turkey and I found the store empty. I bought all the turkey they had on the shelves, paid less than 20 dollars, and bounced. Easy and straight to the point. I would not endorse this store for everyday shopping because it’s small, old fashioned and understaffed.
