Really love this place the price point on the food is delicious. You will get full on anything you eat here and it won’t break your wallet either. Great service every time I come and eat. Hope you guys enjoy the food

It’s very convenient to have dim sum readily available in the valley instead of driving all the way to SGV. The taste of the food is acceptable. There are plenty of options. Price is a bit high if compare to SGV dim sum. The servers are more polite and at least understand English which is very helpful. They even said«your welcome» when you thank them which you definitely will not get if you go to dim sum in SGV. For this reason, I give this place a 4 star.

Food isn’t bad but service sucks. Waited 45 minutes and they skipped out number and called out other parties of two that came way after us despite asking the host when we’re going to be seated. Had to ask for plates, for water, for just about everything that you’d already expect to be on the table already. Icing on the cake was a dirty fork they brought out for us to eat with.

Hands down the ultimate place in the valley for authentic Dimsum! Other dishes such as sautéed spinach with garlic, seafood hot and sour soup, salted pork chops, and a slew of various noodles are also items we relish.

My family decided to have a dim sum Sunday after church. A&W has different branches here in San Fernando Valley but this one disappoints me the most. The service wasn’t good. I remember when we were seated on your table, settings were not prepared. A waiter finally set up our table and, literally, giving out napkins as if they were being thrown to us. Dim sums that were available that time were limited than usual. We were given tea but had to ask several times to get refill. We also asked for rice and were given when we were almost done eating. The poor waitress who was so busy, barely knows the menu. The one in San Fernando mission has a better service. Parking also sucks. I had to look for a parking for good 20 mins until I found one off site and had to walk far.

Booooo! Went there in the middle of lunch rush and it is the only time we’ve ever left dim sum hungry. We ordered har gow, shu mai, shrimp and spinach dumpling, and and shrimp in flat noodle. With the exception of the har gow, all items were terrible. Ice cold, chewy tough skin on the dumpling. Shrimp noodle was rubbery and very little shrimp… And cold too! If they can’t draw a crowd in the middle of lunch then they would be better off making food to order as none of it tasted fresh. Service was nice enough but not enough to make up for the quality of the food. Took a look at their menu and the made to order plates as they went by us and they looked starchy, greasy, and lacking in vegetables… Sadly the walk across the street back to the car took us near Falafel Palace. One sniff and look at that place told us that we chose poorly. Next time I’m on this street I’ll go for falafel rather than feel awful about eating those sad little dumplings.

My review will focus on their shrimp dumplings with chives. I have had other dim sum items here, but they’re not really that good. If I want other dim sum items, I’ll make the drive to San Gabriel Valley to satisfy my Asian craving needs. Honestly, I gave them 4 stars because this place has the best shrimp dumplings with chives I’ve ever tasted and it’s BIG!!! It pumped them 2 star up since their other items is meh. I always order to go here, so I can’t really comment on their service. I can definitely say a smile is something I rarely see if that makes a difference. Because their shrimp dumplings with chives is that good, I don’t care if they don’t ever smile. I’ll still order to go, then I can eat it at home and see the smiles on my family’s face. =0)

The food here used to be good a few years back but now it’s just ok. We had the lobster which was fresh but salty and the flavor of the sauce was nothing good. The clams with basil sauce was also salty. The fried fish was crunch but the sauce was nothing special. Over all the food is only ok!

The valley is lucky to have a restaurant that serves dimsum. Their regular menu is also superb. Choices are pretty good compared to the ones in China Town and San Gabriel valley restaurants. Service is fast and efficient.

Went here with my family and the service wasn’t too bad and the food either. Last time I had Dim Sum was in Seattle so I was excited to try it out again. We had a lot of shrimp dishes but my favorite was this sesame ball with yellow beans in it. That was my fave. Although it seemed as if it were more of a dessert type of food. My little one loved it too. Only thing I can complain about is the place was a little dirty. Cart full of used dishes were by the front door. Yuck, and there wasn’t any knife I could use to cut the food in pieces. I didn’t really want to ask because all the servers seem very busy at this time. We went on New Year’s Day and lots of people just like us were too lazy to cook anything at home. They opened at 10am which was a plus for us too, but by that time there was already a lot of people. Parking was not that bad. I think it was hard to park once after we arrived and left. Saw quite a few people trying to fight for a spot ha-ha. I want to try the location in Granada Hills though. If I don’t like that place then I might be back here.

This place has sentimental value as it is a family go to for both my family and my husband’s family. We plan to continue the tradition however, their food has recently been hit or miss. I typically love their pan fried noodles, fried rice, house special crab, salt and pepper pork, and of course their dim sum. The past few times there have been a few misses on my favorite dishes. But its not too big of a miss that I would stop going. I still love the place! The staff are typically friendly! They’re very at home in the restaurant(they have dinner there too) which is nice to see. There are some members who are hard to read though. Sometimes I can’t tell if they’re just cranky or busy. But again, most are friendly! Ambiance: nice sit down, round table, aquarium vibe restaurant. They serve tea. Parking: private lot with an entrance on Reseda or the small street.

The go-to dim sum spot in the Valley and also one of my favorite seafood restaurants. Every time I come to this place I always have a good experience. The place is clean and it never gets packed. at least the times I’ve been. Their dim sum times are from the moment they open ’til 2:30 pm everyday. I’ve had their dim sum once or twice here. very delicious! Their dishes are great as well! I’ve had their kung pao scallops, shrimp chow fun(flat rice noodles), seafood fried rice and crispy pork. all tasted amazing! Our servers are always accommodating and very friendly which is a plus! Great customer service every time. Highly recommend this place if you’re ever in the Valley!

I really like this place more out of convenience than of an actual attachment to their food. The dishes taste exactly like how I expect them to and its relatively near to me since I live in the Valley. You have your dimsum basics, Siumai, Hakaw, Spare Ribs in black bean sauce, Shrimp Cheong Fan which is pretty much what I order every time I go to dimsum so Im pretty happy with the selection. They have a really nice Shrimp ball skewered in some kind of sugar cane which is one of the things that I like, not sure if its a dimsum staple but I really like that dish. I think for dimsum its a little expensive. but I mean its in the valley, the additional dollar per dish is probably worth the hassle of driving all the way to SGV or Rowland Heights you know what i mean? The past few sundays this has been some kind of a thing with me and my friends which is cool because we used to do a lot of Dimsum on sundays back home in Manila too. And just like any other dimsum place, don’t hesitate to be aggressive and fight for your food. Be active when the carts come because those servers are not gonna mind you if you do not budge.

It’s a little tough to rate this place, but I chose to average it to 3 stars. TWO stars for the dim sum and FOUR stars for the dinner menu. I’ve been to dim sum a few times and it’s always just OKAY. Today, the dim sum today was disappointing. I went around noon and although it was pretty busy, the food seemed old. The shu mai wasn’t even warm and the skin was harder and dark yellow. Usually, when it’s fresh its soft and WARM! Spare ribs were still good, but some chunks were too fatty. The rest of the dim sum was alright. I think I’ll stick to the dim sum in 626. The foods for dinner is pretty good. One of my faves is the chicken with garlic sauce… mmmm it’s delicious! I usually order that with some sort of veggies(baby bok choy or ong choy if they have it). The veggies are stir fried in garlic so it’s hard to go wrong. As for the customer service, some days everyone is happy, in a good mood and nice to talk to. Other days, they seem like they just don’t want to be there. No greetings, no smiles, no thank you. Lol. I will probably go back, but NOT for dim sum.

Dim sum is pretty good here. There’s not many options in the valley unfortunately. They open at 9am on Sundays & get super busy here by 10:30! If you don’t want to wait in the super long lines, I’d try to come before 11:30. There’s plenty to choose from and the carts come around often. The food is fresh and gets replenished pretty quickly. If they don’t have it on the carts, they’ll let you know if it’s coming soon or order it for you. The ladies that push the carts are nice as well as the other staff members. There’s one petite lady with short hair that also works at the other location in Reseda that’s always very friendly and smiles a lot.

Solid dim sum spot in the good ol’ valley! I do have to admit the parking sucks but there’s plenty of street parking. The dim sum selection isn’t as vast as Chinatown or SGV but it does the job. The good: 1. They upgraded their restaurant so it’s way more modern than before. 2. Customer service is awesome especially for an Asian restaurant. The ladies who work here are very nice and sweet. 3. Porridge is amazinnnnggg especially when you’re hungover like I was today: O 4. Very very affordable! Today, we ordered hargow(2), shumai(2), porridge, walnut shrimp, pork buns(2), fried shrimp balls, and egg tarts all for a total of around $ 39. We even had enough to have 2 to-go boxes. The bad: Busy busy busy! I usually go around 10am and there’s always a line. I actually went today a little later on around 1pm and it wasn’t that bad(maybe because it’s football season?). Helpful tip: Dim sum ends at 3pm on the weekends!

It’s officially gone downhill Some of the recipes taste like they have change them plus the fact that they do not give you lose tea that tastes really good anymore! Now you get a lot teapot full of hot water and tea bags which ends up tasting more less still like water… At first they started charging for the tea and now they’ve stop charging and there just to keep it well I like my leafy Tea. There’s just little things I started noticing like chips teapot tables that don’t have the ability to keep the sides of anymore among other things like the draperies are starting to break and nobody’s fixing them I still have my favorites that I order so that will always be fine I hope they don’t change those recipes

Went to this place for dim sum for the first time and love it!!! My fiancé and I usually go to the one near our place on Balboa and they are great but sometimes their food isn’t completely fresh. This place, everything on or plate was fresh and delicious!!! The shrimp rice noodle dish is always my favorite and it was amazing here! The rice noodles were so soft it melts in your mouth. The seafood was also delicious! Service was also great! Everyone was very friendly and they served as quick and easy. I really like the way this restaurant is set up. The ambience is nice and it feels a lot more clean and you get more of the«Chinese» feel compared to the other location. This is probably our new favorite dim sum spot in the valley! Definite recommend to anyone who wants great dim sum in the 818 area. Totally worth it. Prices are higher than Chinatown, but that’s already a given. It’s still pretty much cheaper than any other kind of breakfast place.

Worst dim sum in America… possibly the world. They didn’t even serve us tea and gave us ice water. The dimsum was limited and not fresh and the two fried noodle dishes left a lot to be desired. We shall never ever return and hope that you take this as a warning.

Four star goes to food, 2 and half stars to the service. I think this dim sum place in valley was at this location forever. Looked a bit careless when I was there last week. Dim sum carts were not rolling frequently, meaning had to wait. Place was packed, as usual. Though the food was pretty good.
