Service guy came out I was quoted a certain price and of course it was a lot more. I was told $ 89 all the guy did was diagnose it and I got a bill for $ 150. I specifically asked twice what the cost would be when I called for the service call. Good luck calling them for service pathetic

They installed a new liner in my inground pool and they did a fantastic job. I used Spa and Pool Works in New Lenox several years earlier and I could not believe the difference in quality of work. Russo is the best pool liner installer that I have ever used. I have had my pool for over 30 years and they are by far the best people to do business with.

I cannot say enough positive things about Russo’s! My husband and I purchased a top of the line spa from here in July 2014. Russo’s has been our one-stop shop for supplies and advice. They are very quick to respond to service requests. I also started using them for the pool at my work which needed a special set-up for dogs and they were very helpful with this. If you are thinking about making a major purchase, make sure to ask for Craig although all of the staff are great. They have great financing options for larger purchases.

Anthony and Joe Russo and their crew did an awesome job on our in ground pool and spa! There were many municipal roadblocks along the way, for which Russo’s always found a solution. The pool turned out even better than we had expected. We couldn’t be happier with Russo’s workmanship and service. We would recommend them to anyone.

I have used Russo’s to service my aging hot tub on 4 separate occasions. Ed, the service technician, is extremely knowledgeable and can pinpoint the problem and make recommendations on site. After years of using Great Escape as part of my warranty service, I am so pleased with this less expensive and better service. My only concern is that Ed’s reputation is growing and it is getting harder to book him!

Terrible customer service! I ordered an item online, they took my payment, never shipped it, contacted them 4 times and it ended up with them telling me to contact my bank for a refund. Buyers beware.

This is my 3rd year as a customer with Russo’s pool. I always try other places because some said it was a good deal or someone sent me a promo through the mail, but I always end up sticking with Russo’s. My above ground pool is always looking great, and if there are any issues they are happy to fix it for you with out a hassle. I have well water and the recommendation for the sand filter was the best decision I ever made in the 6 years of owning my pool. Brian is always awesome and if there is a issue like the past week I was out of town and my basket was filled with leaves and caused it to allege real bad he recommended a great way to get it all out and got us back and running within 24 hours Very happy — Highly recommend!

The service was TERRIBLE. I gave one star only because I did not have the option to give zero stars. The workers were completely incompetent. They left my pool filthy and my yard a mess. When I phoned Russo pool, they said, «They did all they would do and to call another company.» They said this after they had already cashed my check! The next day, when I went to turn on my pool heater, I found out the workers broke it. Do yourselves a favor and go somewhere else.

I have never left a negative review for any business, but Russo’s customer service is in much need of improvement. I have been doing business with these folks for over 10 years, and consistently the service declines with each visit. Not certain if the problem lies between incompetent staff, lack of help or just sheer lack of customer care. When you enter no one acknowledges you Or offers assistance, if you ask for help you’re rudely told that someone will be right with you… and they never are. We have even tried phoning in our questions, and were told that someone will return our call within the next few minutes, and never did… on more than one occasion. These calls were not at busy times, they were mid week mid day. After I called back 5 hours later still waiting for an answer, was told by a foreign speaking woman Again, to leave my name and number and that someone will return my call in the next few minutes. I explained that I did this already and have been waiting all day for the call. She rudely THEN told me they are too busy and I should call back tomorrow.(?!) I couldn’t believe a business would treat their customers in this manner, and after further discussing this with my neighbors who also own pools, we all agreed someone should call Russo’s out on this and hopefully, they can make improvements in their Customer Service division. In the mean time, we will use the competitor. Smaller, yes, but 100% more appreciate of our business. For a «Family Owned Business»…they are VERYUNFRIENDLY.

Russo’s Pool & Spa is my dad’s favorite store! If you are curious about the quality of their products and installs, we still have our original pool liner, not one single patch required that we have had for the past 13 years!!! They are awesome– best customer service around. They know what they are talking about, especially when it comes to pool care. When ever we have a question, they are always there to help. They are very upfront with pricing as well. We were so happy with our pool, we bought a pool table from them two years later. Amazing quality for a fair price, install was great too! We have been customers for over a decade, and have never had a complaint!

We had our vinyl liner replaced by Russo’s in April 2012. They came in at the best quoted price out of six other local pool stores. They ordered the liner and gave me a call when it came in. They emptied the pool, cleaned the bottom and swiftly replaced the liner. The liner pulled away a bit in one of the corners(since it was still a bit cold when it was installed), but they quickly came out and fixed it. They also will deliver chemicals to your door for free!

My husband and I are totally impressed with the service we have had with Russo’s! We couldn’t be happier with the work they have done for us. Our pool was originally installed by Blue Haven pools who went bankrupt halfway through our project… leaving us to fend for ourselves with some pretty major project completion(this is a first world problem, I realize). No other pool company wanted to help… they seemed to only want to service the pools that they had installed. We had many years of trying to find people to fix the mess that Blue Haven left us in. We were totally frustrated until we learned about Russo’s…We have ordered parts from them, bought supplies, had them come out to our house to replace a heater, fix our pool cover, and they recently fixed our pool pump and totally saved the day! Actually, they will totally save our summer! Russo’s comes with my highest recommendations.

They did a great job replacing our in-ground pool liner. I’ve dealt with many pool service providers and they are by far the best. We ran into a couple of problems because of the materials used by the original installer. They patched everything and came back three times to make adjustments before the liner was installed. Every time they worked on the pool they cleaned up after themselves. It was like they were never there. Every other pool service business I’ve dealt with left me everything to clean up. They offered to take away the old liner at an additional cost but I figured I’d save the money and throw it out myself. Since my old liner was so trashed and shredded when they took it out, they hauled it away and didn’t charge me. Very professional and personable. The guys who came out to prep the pool were not the typical ex-convicts that I’ve had in my yard with other pool places. I never once feared my leaf blower was going to be gone from the shed when they left. They worked hard without standing around chatting but still managed to be funny and appear to enjoy what they were doing. Joe Russo explained everything that would be done and why and was patient while my wife changed her mind several times over the liner pattern. Joe, in one hour, located and ordered a replacement light for our pool that I tried to find for three years with no luck. Even the manufacturer couldn’t tell me where to order it. My past experience with pool services had been they are only out to see if they can scam you out of a little more cash and, for the most part, they are scary slobs. If you are using another pool service, I highly recommend giving them a try. At the very least, you won’t be getting ripped off. I guarantee you will be happy with their service.
