Northglenn Smiles Dentistry and Orthodontics

*** Update: The Office Manager reached out to me, sent me all the documents to my email and gave me her contact information. She was extremely helpful and fast at helping me resolve my issue. It seems there was a misunderstanding about the statement I was asking for and it takes time for insurance companies to square away payments with dental offices. She removed me from their Collection List immediately. Thank God this mis-​step won’t affect my credit report. My issue has been completely resolved.
I paid for my dental services through a payment plan for my wisdom teeth extraction. Almost a year after I had the procedure and finished the payment plan, I received a call that I owed $ 213 due to my insurance company not covering the anesthesia is what the office told me. I told them please send me a paper bill and I would like to contact my insurance company before I pay it. I have been waiting for the paper bill and have not received any notice from the office. Again, I called and they updated my address, told me the amount has been adjusted to $ 196 and said the Office Manager would reach out to me. I never received a call from her. Again, I just called the office to see what is the update with receiving the bill and they informed me that they placed the balance in Collection. I have not received any notice from a Collection Agency yet. I never received a due date or even statement notice to see what the amount was for specifically. I am working on my credit and think it is truly unfair that I didn’t receive any notice besides a phone call regarding the balance. I have reported this issue to the Better Business Bureau and am still waiting to hear from the Office Manager.

Pain in my lower-​right jaw had been a constant and unwelcome companion for several years. I had to do almost all of my chewing with the left side of my mouth, and drinking anything cold usually sent an ice pick of pain through my jaw. I finally had enough of this, and decided to seek dental help.
I went in expecting a consultation and a future appointment to begin resolving my issues. What actually happened is completely different. In a surprisingly short amount of time, they had diagnosed the issue, taken pictures and x-​rays of my mouth, removed an old ill-​fitting crown, created two temporary crowns, and drained a couple of accesses that had developed recently.
I have an appointment with an endodontist for two root canals, and then I will go back to Northglenn Smiles for permanent crowns.
That was yesterday. This morning, for the first time that I can remember, I woke up without any pain in my jaw. I can chew normally, and drinking cold liquids doesn’t phase me. Amazing.
Would I recommend Northglenn Smiles to friends and family? In a heartbeat. The care I received from Dr. Hochwald and Brian, the dental assistant, was top-​notch, and the entire staff was warm and professional.

I went in for the $ 39 new patient exam and cleaning. This office utilizes technology to streamline your visit like I’ve never seen before. This was a nice convenience as was the beautiful office. The dentist that owns this office is only there on wednesday. I was seen by his friendly associate dentist who, to my relief, was very skilled and capable in her own right. My only complaint would be the high pressure sales that the employees dutifully perform just as they are trained. I went in for a cap and cleaning so it was with dismay that I was told I needed the more expensive «deeper» cleaning, on a different day no less, that gets lower in the gum line. On top of this 3 different people tried to sell me a $ 600 mouth guard. Maybe this was because I was an un-​insured $ 39 customer? Regardless I would still recommend this office — everyone was very professional, friendly and for $ 39 you cannot beat the quality of service you get.

I waited over 5 years to go to the dentist so needless to say my teeth were in pretty bad shape, but the wonderful people at Northglenn Smiles were super professional and helpful. They did everything they could to make me comfortable and informed on treatment. They never once made me feel bad about the state of my teeth and have helped me get them back in shape and now I have a wonderful smile thanks to them. They are AMAZING!
