We came across Rosabianca by accident, and I’m glad we did! We pulled up the driveway and found a cute little barn with a tasting room. There were various wines, and per the recommendation of staff, we bought a bottle of the Dolce Gocce, which was semi-dry white wine. It was a beautiful fall day, so we sat at one of the picnic tables outside. There is a nice view of the vineyards, although the area is quite small and you do end up overlooking the parking lot. For such a small vineyard, it was definitely a nice experience with some good wine.

A little vineyard doing big things! The place serves up some of the best wine I’ve tasted in CT; however, most of the grapes are harvested in California or New York. Here are a few things to note at this time: — The winemaker has strong Italian heritage — Tastings are $ 10 — They have a combination of several red and white wine including a red and white mulled wine… all made in stainless steel barrels — Aside from italian specialty crackers, they don’t serve food, but you can bring your own — They are open to 8 pm on the weekends — They are in process of building a bigger venue — They are not part of the CT wine trail or passbook The current venue is small and quaint but very family oriented. Don’t let the gnats deter you :-) Definitely check it out!

My husband, our two friends and myself were in New Haven, CT for a wedding back in August and were looking for something casual to do on Friday evening. We all found this vineyard to have superb wine(some of the best I have had) and a lovely location. They have an indoor tasting room which is quaint and rustic. However, since we were visiting on a gorgeous day we bought two bottles of wine and took them outside to enjoy the view. The owner and his daughter were friendly and completely genuine. We had a lovely conversation with them while participating in the wine tasting but never felt like they were pushing their product on us. They know they have phenomenal wine; no reason to oversell. I wish they had a wine club! I would sign up in a minute!

I came here today with 2 friends to check out the facilities and the wine. It is TINY — it’s basically in the loft of a barn and has room for the tasting area plus a handful of tables that seat 4 people. There was only one other group when we got there, so we were able to relax and have

This vineyard has already out grown it’s facilities. The location is easy to find with parking. The tasting room is a barn that has been converted to a tasting room which fits about 40 people at max. Entiring the barn reminds a visitor they are at a vineyard with the massive fermenting chambers on the base floor. Once upstairs, visitors are welcomed to a cozy tasting room. Tables and benches are placed in the space to allow visitors to enjoy wine and tastings. There is also a bar placed at the back of the space where people can stand to do tastings. The staff is very welcoming and starts off their pour with the story behind the vineyard, their Italian father’s dream. Most of the wine names and the espresso machine in the corner bring the Italian feel to this vineyard. Overall the wine is very good and the staff is very informative on the wine. The wine maker is around eager to answer questions that his staff may not be able to handle.
