Before Unilocal,I was a patron of this pizzeria. I am glad to have seen this place prosper for so long. I am long removed from Northbrook, but I used to love this pizza back in the 90s when it was relatively new. The stuffed pizza is not soggy, flavorful and just as good as any. I love pizza, had a pizzeria of my own and this place was great.

Lovely little pizza spot. My family was passing through Chicago and we stopped at this spot to eat. Granted, it’s more on the outskirts of actual downtown Chicago, it’s well worth a visit. This is some of the best deep dish pizza we’ve ever had. Before arriving to Chicago we had heard non-stop about Giordano’s, but after trying both places we unanimously agreed that Piero’s Pizza was better. We had the tiramisu as well, which was excellent. Definitely a place we’d like to visit again.

I have a relationship with Piero’s Pizza. We have history. One of my first jobs was driving pizzas for Piero’s during high school. I’ve grown up on their pizza and I usually order one when I visit my parents. The combination of their homemade crust, flavorful sauce, great cheese and super fresh ingredients show exactly why the family run places completely wipe the floor with chain restaurants. Give this amazing pizza a try and you won’t be sorry!

Came in with my husband and step daughter after her Tae Kwon do class for a quick bite. Very friendly workers. One of the best Italian beef sandwiches I’ve ever had! Will go back.

So we come in and the place is alright. The prices are ok. One of the guys who worked there didn’t look very nice, and wasn’t. But, the manager was actually really kind. We ordered a medium«Italian Beef Stuffed Pizza«and asked to substitute the red peppers for black olives. The wait wasn’t too long for a stuffed pizza(25 min). When the pizza came it looked quite delicious. I took a few bites and it tasted very good, but, it had a little too much cheese… saying that I choked on the cheese. Oh, and the crust was actually amazing. As I ate nearly half of the pizza, i noticed that the pizza didn’t have any beef, and they left on the red peppers(they included the olives tho). We told them about it and they gave us the same exact pizza(but with all the toppings) free of cost(original price $ 11.50 w/no tax) that we plan to take on the plane, back to California. Overall I really liked the pizza, I would like it more if they included the beef tho, but I would give it 5 stars if they didn’t mix up our order. At least we got a free pizza, and it’s pretty big. I might come back next time I come to Illinois.

This place looked alright get because I read all the reviews. When me and my family went here we ordered the Italian sausage deep dish pizza with olives instead of red peppers as a substitute. When the pizza came it was very good looking. Then as I took a few bites we realized there was no beef! And red peppers! We still ate it because we were waiting 25 minutes. 4 stars because the service was actually pretty good and even though they forgot the beef it was enjoyable. + they gave us a free medium pizza with a value of 11.50 $(same pizza size we got) the free pizza had all the toppings right and smelled of Italian seasonings. I wish I could eat the whole thing but I already feel pregnant. Me my friend and uncle are planning to take a few slices of beef pizzas back on the plane to California. I would come back here again to try something else because the cheese and crust was buttery and went so well together. Overall I would give it 5 stars but I’m taking 1 off for the poor attention of the chefs.

Ordered using their online tool — clunky, especially on a smart phone. But pizza shows up in an hour, yay, and the driver has little to no change. How do you not have change past a few singles? Ended up giving him WAY too much money, which afterwards made me feel really manipulated and mad. Then I open up the pizza box and the pizza is torched, burnt to a crisp. They had to know when they were putting it in the box that black is not the right color for the crust. So they sent it out and crossed their fingers that it would be ok? Well, it’s not. Shame on them!

I have only ordered their Spessa pizza(pizza on focaccia bread) but it is definitely my favorite local pizza to get! On days that just call for staying in with good beer, movie and lazy lounging clothes. This hits the spot for my significant other and me!

I’ve only ever had their deep dish pizza for carry-out. I really enjoy it. Keep in mind this place is just a small pizzeria that mostly caters to carry-out orders. I wouldn’t go there to eat expecting a typical decent sit-down experience. Their pizza is tasty. My second choice to Lou’s. Lots of cheese too and they don’t skimp on any extra toppings even with a coupon. Big props for that. Honestly, I have no interest in any of their other food. It’s all about the pizza.

For the longest time I didn’t have any great love for deep dish pizza. A few weeks ago I had some Lou Malnati’s and it was good. Based off Unilocal reviews I tried Piero’s last week and it was excellent. I got a large deep dish with garlic, spinach and meatballs. I picked it up just as it came out of the oven. The taste was awesome. Strong(but not too much) garlic, flavorful spinach and just enough meatball. The sauce is very good and the cheese is appropriately gooey. It is a little bit more expensive than most, but the quality makes it worthwhile. This is going to be my new favorite pizza place. I’m going to give their thin pizza a shot and the other menu items look good. Overall, an excellent choice for deep dish pizza.

In for lunch, ordered the Italian sub. I did like the side of the Italian dressing for the sandwich which makes less of a mess while eating. Unfortunately I wasn’t that crazy about the sandwich, I got it toasted but the meat was kind of hard biting into it. also it lacked the usual flavoring among many others that I’ve had… probably need the cook to taught again. I’ll try again… Maybe

My family and I are regulars… haven’t been disappointed! We love the pizza, but my personal favorite is the eggplant Parmesan dinner. My wife loves the cannolis!

I normally love this place, but about 2 weeks I was there and only ordered a slice of sausage, and it was disgusting the sausage was so hard and burnt like it was leftover from 2 days before, and the cheese was not how it normally is! I would of taking it back but I was working. :(I WILLNOTBEGOINGBACKTOTHISPLACE!!!

First time ordering from Piero’s — nothing stood out as anything super special here. Ordered up some cheese bread, buffalo wings, and a thin crust pizza with black olive and pepperoni(it’s a good combo — try it sometime :)) With tip and delivery charges, etc. — all that came out to around $ 35, which seemed a little on the high side when compared to similar pizza places in the area. ordering online was easy enough, and the delivery came right on time based on the estimate provided. The cheese bread was as advertised, bread with cheese. The sauce they gave with the bread was(I’m assuming) the pizza sauce, which tasted good here. The wings were actually pretty good. Nice kick to the sauce, and the wings themselves were pretty large and moist. Now — the important part — the pizza. The crust was very much bland, and seemed maybe a touch underdone. The sauce(as mentioned above) on the pizza seemed to be applied very sparingly, and on the pie with toppings and crust, just got lost. That’s a shame, seeing as on its own it tasted good. The cheese and toppings were generous, but also lacking in the flavor department. Overall — for the price — I was hoping for something a little better. Seeing the reviews for the deep dish might lead me to give Piero’s another go… but this experience was not the best first impression.

From out of town. I filtered on rating and picked the top rating from the Hyatt. We pulled up and was concerned because it was a «hole in wall» place in a strip mall. Wasn’t too busy but went for it. Let me tell you, do NOT let it scare you away. This is the real deal. Fresh ingredients and quality ingredients in the hands of someone that knows what they are doing. Incredible! Will be back when I’m in town. Huge amount of topping choices too.

Probably the best pizza in the northern burbs and they even have whole wheat crust. I get the extra thin crust usually but their stuffed is excellent also. Never had anything subpar here. Plus they have individual pies, which is great.

My experience with Chicago style pizza was limited to Uno’s, so I thought I’d try for the real deal. Piero’s did not disappoint! I got a stuffed individual pizza and, well, it was heavenly. Tangy, spicy pizza sauce on top with generous filling(get the garlic unless you have a date…) Delish! Four stars only because I got wings that were in a goopy sauce and slightly soggy breading. But yeah, the pizza is why the place is there, and it’s quite worth getting. Bellissima!

My first time getting a pie here. I have been drooling over their local add picture for months. My wife told me dinner was my responsibility on this particular night so my time had arrived. I ordered a deep dish sausage and spinach for pick up. It was ready when I got there, the location was simple setup, nothing fancy. A couple of table and chairs to grab a quick bite but mostly geared for pickup or delivery, similar to other places. I have to say that this is a very tasty pie and I did enjoy it. If I had to compare, I would say it was slightly better than Giordanos because the spinach had a garlicy taste to it that G’s does not. I have only had one Malnati’s pie but prefer Giordanos, or now Pieros. People rave about the Malnati crust but I do not eat this type of pizza for the crust. I will definitely patronize again. Thx Pieros!

The Spinach Pan Pizza from Piero’s is my favorie pizza in all of Illinois. Yes, better than Lou Malnati’s. Better than Pizzaria Uno and Due. Better than Gino’s East. And way better than Giordano’s. I have had it at this location, as well as the HIghland Park location and it is always pure perfection. The pan pizza resembles more of a deep-dish style pizza with the thick crust and the sauce on top. The spinach has a delicious garlicy-ness to it that is just amazing. If I lived closer, I would eat this pizza every week instead of a couple of times per year.

I won’t pretend to know all there is to know about this restaurant. What I do know is that thanks to a generous higher-up here at the office, I am eating Piero’s for lunch right now. And it is tasty stuff. We basically just got thin-crust and salad, but the salad is fresh, flavorful and packed with veggies(including broccoli and green pepper) and the house dressing is awesome. The pizza itself has tons of cheese, a slightly chewy-bendy crust, and good sauce. Bit greasy, but delicious. In short, if I had reason to order pizza or go out for some up here in the Northbrook area, I would totally choose Piero’s.
