This is a great toy store for special, individual, upscale toys, not the kind you can get a Toys R Us or Target.
We got my daughter’s favorite toy, a Winkel by Manhattan Toy, from here, for $ 16. We found the same toy online for $ 9 on sale, but she was able to have it right away, and she has never put it back.
They also have an extensive line of strollers and other new-​mom items, which is rare for a toy store.
Yes, it’s expensive, but it’s here and you get to see, touch and feel all of the products, which is definitely worth a little extra money!

I agree that this store carries things that are not available in other stores so I drove over an hour to get to this store so that I could buy a jogging stroller because I wanted it right away. The item I wanted was out of stock, that’s fine because they offered to ship it to me for free. I waited 3 weeks, still no stroller. I called twice, they said they were still waiting for the shipment. WHAT??? I ordered the same stroller online at a lower price with no tax and free shipping. It arrived 2 days later.
Also, while I was at the store, I was very disappointed at their customer service. I would ask if they had a certain item, they said that they did but just described it to me instead of bringing it out.
I would recommend going to the store to check out their merchandise and going online and ordering. It’ll save you a few bucks and some phone calls.

This is the kind of toy store that I love.
The store is chock full of vintage repro, new, and educational toys.
Everything is well displayed, tidy, and not torn up. It is the kind of toy store that I remember growing up, the kind that peaks your curiosity and makes you wish and hope that Santa Claus really exists.
They only offer the best here. There are toys here that I can not find at other toy stores, only online. Baby grand pianos with perfectly tuned keys, wooden toys that are perfect for heirlooms, gorgeous doll houses, repro hotrods, and fishing rods, marionettes, toys to teach, the list is endless. One of the best things about being a parent is seeing things with new eyes. Feeling the excitement and rediscovering your youth. I love seeing the simple joy in his face when we try new things. It makes the world feel less scary and ugly, and brings you to a more happier innocent place.
They also feature a room for the discerning parent with the best designs in strollers, carriages, and car seats. I couldn’t help but wish that some of the designs existed when I needed them!
My only complaint is that they often seem short staffed, I don’t think that I have ever been greeted or helped here, other than to be rung up. It’s great to be left alone to explore… but in some ways I have this strange feeling when I shop here that no one works there… I feel like an intruder peeking into a fantasy world… that magic elves appear out of nowhere and just keep the store nice and tidy,
