I had the sausage peppers and onions on Italian bread. It was very good. Velvet had the vegie wrap. She said very good also. Outside seating is beautiful. Enjoy. Wine was 6 $. For a good pour. Chrissy was our server and she was awesome.

This restaurant was truly horrible! We had a group of 6 for lunch and there wasn’t a good dish served and they were all different. Even the seltzer was terrible. The waitress was sweet and I suppose she was trying but we had to get up and get our own condiments after asking and waiting. We had already waited OVERANHOUR for our food and didn’t want it to get any colder while waiting for the condiments. Now you might assume that maybe they were super busy. I kid you not… I only saw one other table with people. I wonder why??? I will say that the waitress did get all of the orders right even if they were barely edible. I had the veggie burger without the bun and it honestly looked like a cow patty, all mushy and runny and gross. It didn’t taste much better and the fries were totally soggy and cold. Really all we could do was laugh because the whole experience was so bad. Did I mention that there was a bug in one of the glasses of water? The icing on the cake!!!

I always have a heat time here. The food is very good, the prices are very reasonable. There’s never a big line… And the serving people are always very friendly.

Passed this hundreds of times. I don’t know why. .the food was true Italian dishes. They serve fresh warm bread with a half clove of roasted garlic with the dipping oil. Their Shrimp Lobster Bisque was amazing, so flavorful. My salad was not just a Caprese salad it was a meal. If you are by the Solomon pond mall and craving Italian, drive right past the frozen food at olive garden and drive the extra 2 minutes for a great atmosphere and homemade Italian taste at Guiseppe’s. We will definitely be back!

The service was absolutely terrible. We went here to take advantage of the patio but were told we couldn’t sit outside due to the rain that wasn’t due to arrive for 4 more hours. So they asked us to sit at a booth in the bar. After ordering drinks, the waitress brought the wrong drink and then charged us for it. When taking our order, she seemed more preoccupied with the ceiling tiles than with our orders. She wasn’t engaging or polite and honestly, she is in the wrong business. She then proceeded to spill a dinner on one of the people in our party. She also never brought over bread or even offered it until we asked for it. Two meals came out of the kitchen 15 minutes before the other four meals came and they were cold by the time we could all eat together. One of those meals was wrong. We wouldn’t sent it back, but who knows what we would’ve ended up with. It was very unfortunate because the food is very good, but I wouldn’t ever go back with the service they way it is. Other patrons may be better off not sitting in the bar.

We were here last night for dinner. ATTENTIVENESS: We were seated promptly, but had a delay between when we were seated, and when our server noticed us. Overall it was good service from the server after that, but there were a few delays in the process when she came back smelling like a cigarette. On a scale of 0 … 7 rating of 5. TIMELINESS The drinks were kept up to date, and the kitchen speed was good. The food came out at the proper time. On a scale of 0 … 7 rating of 7. FOODQUALITY I had a soup special and the meat lasagna. Both were tasty. The soup wasn’t too salty that often soups in restaurants can be. The presentation was excellent(see photos.) On a scale of 0 … 7 rating of 7. Total points 19 of a possible 21 points. This was our second visit here, so we would be back again.

Mushroom ravioli sauce was a bit sweet for my taste. Asparagus was good. Looks like they serve most of your Italian standards. Had the crème brule for dessert, which was«wicked good» as asserted by our very friendly waitress. Chocolate lava cake was not the best we’d ever had, but wasn’t a disappointment either. Live music in the bar might be nice for an adult night out.

Have been there many, many times and last night finally did us in. The food has steadily been going down hill but now add the service along with a nasty attitude topped it off last night for us. The wait staff and kitchen staff obviously couldn’t handle the crowd. We waited for over and hr. for our dinner and when it finally arrived it was cold and not what was ordered. As we looked around the dining around we were not the only ones complaining. People sitting next to us were totally disgusted and had the same opinion as we. What really topped it off was watching the owner sitting in a booth having a beer instead of approaching us and apologizing for a horrible night of mix ups and terrible service. Sadly the food is not up to par for the prices that they are charging and the service is very poor. As of last night I believe it will be our last.

North end quality conveniently located! Clean place, well decorated. Looks like a restaurant right out of good fellas. Nice lighting and the Christmas decorations were a nice touch for our very early(we were seated at 4:30 p.m.) Christmas Eve eve dinner :) We ordered the bruschetta(grilled bread, marinated tomatoes, smoked mozzarella cheese, basil and balsamic drizzle), the bread(not the best Italian bread but okay) with olive oil, Parmesan and red pepper flakes(well presented and jazzed up the bread) butternut squash ravioli with chicken, craisins and candied nuts with creamy sauce(literally heavenly, you should order this) and baked haddock over rice pilaf and asparagus(a bit salty, very flavorful and the fish was cooked to perfection!)Our server, Phil, was hospitable and quick! Would absolutely return!

First time here for lunch today and it was pretty good. We had the clams casino which were okay. I feel like maybe if they were baked longer it would have tasted better. The filling was too mushy in consistency but the flavor was good! I loved my Dill salmon pasta dish! It was Atlantic salmon, artichokes, sundried tomatoes and mushrooms in a dill butter sauce over angel hair! It was delicious! My friend had baked ziti and it was pretty good. Sauce was flavorful. Service was great. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive.

We have eaten here many times over the past 10 years. The food is really good, the roasted garlic and bread are always amazing, and the service is usually good(there have been some rare hiccups). One of my favorite dishes is the butternut squash ravioli. The deck in the back is a draw – it’s fun to eat out there. There is also a bar where they sometimes have musicians.

It looks a little run down on the outside and as you walk in but trust that the food and service will be excellent! We live locally and go all the time. The food is always very good.

My husband and I tried this restaurant because we had a coupon. What a great find! The bread was warm, crispy, and served with roasted garlic, olive oil, and spices. We both ordered the chicken parm. The chicken was lightly breaded and juicy inside. The sauce was begging to have every drop soaked up. The penne pasta was al dente. We will definitely become regulars here.

My friend and I go to this place quite often on Saturday nights. For dinners, I always go for Seafood Guiseppe. Assorted seafood comes with creamy white sauce. Love it. A bar with live music on a Saturday night is a plus.

I had the most delicious seafood Alfredo with lobster ravioli tonight. The scallops were tender and so tasty. There was calamari and shrimp as well. It was served with spinach and tomatoes.

Ordered gnocchi with marinara and bruschetta for my wife on Sunday at 8pm(maybe that was my fatal mistake) for take out, lady said it would take 10 minutes. Wife got there ten minutes later and food wasn’t ready(nbd), lady asked what she wanted again as if she didn’t write down my order when I called. Wife proceeded to wait another 10 minutes for food. Wife gets home and digs in. Gnocchi was cold and clumped together and bruschetta was basically chopped tomatoes on a toasted sub roll. Needless to say she didn’t eat. Probably won’t be doing take out again. Based on the reviews I might try dining in, during prime time.

Have come here 2 times. The first time I ordered a sandwich off of their lunch menu. It was quite good! The inside décor badly needs to be updated. My friend ordered a pasta dish which I grabbed a taste of. It had good flavor. The second time I came, my husband and I sat on the deck outside. The server was very friendly, though a tad awkward. There was another waitress working outside who was extremely rude. She would interrupt us, while we were talking with our waiter, to complain. The lighting outside was not very good. We went around 7pm for dinner time and could not see one thing! Our waiter noticed us squinting and brought over a few tiny candles, which was nice of him. There was live music inside which sounded not too terrible. I ordered the pasta and meatballs which were not all too exciting, surprising since they are an Italian restaurant and that is a pretty basic meal to order. The flavor of the sauce was not terrible, but not really that good either. My husband ordered the steak which he also said was just alright. We both really liked the bread and roasted garlic. I also ordered a side garden salad that was really, really nice. A lot of great veggies on top and the house dressing was yummy, not too thick and not too watery. I would come back again and possibly recommend.

I was recommended this restaurant from a friend who comes here all the way from Stoneham. I decided to try it Saturday night and brought my two young daughters and their friend. We sat outside on the deck, and Kat, our wonderful server gave the kids bread to feed the ducks, fish, frogs, and turtles. So much fun for the kids. Our food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Homemade mozzarella marinara, a salad, chicken Parmesan, ravioli, Pizza, and lobster risotto. Yum.

Well not a good day today. Restaurant has potential. Butter hands waitress dropped my water glass. Crash! Understaffed. Forgot the bread. I ordered pear pizza with Gorgonzola but they thought I wouldn’t notice? Feta cheese! Wrong ingredients they lied! Sorry sent back they took it off the bill. Thank goodness the meat on top was best dog food. Whoops butter fingers again but she is pleasant enough. The red sauce is very good. The bar is a dark dungeon good for escaping reality.

Another reviewer wrote about the urine smell and I definitely smelled it as I walked through the dining room. It was dark inside. I went today(Saturday afternoon). We sat outside. The view was nice. Waitress was satisfactory and accommodated our separate check request. I had the beet salad with gorgonzola and candied pecans. it was delicious! I also had the lasagna it was excellent. A friend had shrimp scampi and she really loved it. Another friend had pasta with shrimp and chicken and said it was just ok. I’d go back but only if I could sit outside. As I walked out a guy told me he had the best chicken parm of his life there.

I would give this establishment 5 stars, but our waiter seemed like he cared less about me and my boyfriend while we were here, which is very upsetting because i always love talking to our server, even if its just for 25 seconds. The food was fantastic, we started off by splitting the nachos which was such a good call. They were so delicious and the crab meat on top reminded me almost of crab rangoons. I had some gnocchi dish which was actually only okay, i wanted it to be better than it was, my gnocchi was so squishy, i didn’t want to say anything because i didn’t want to ruin our time. On the other hand, my boyfriend LOVED his chicken with mashed potatoes and french fries! I will be going back maybe in a month or two!

My first time here as a result recommendation from a friend. The service is attentive, timely and friendly. The food attractiveness is up there for a suburban joint. The water side deck is a quaint and relaxing that is great for a date night. Take a look at my pictures. The presentation is good and nicely done. I personally prefer more robust flavoring but there is nothing that a few shakes of salt and pepper cannot fix. Overall happy and will come back again.

Splendid place! Came here on a busy Saturday night around 9pm and we were pleasantly greeted by two lady’s by the front door. We were promptly seated in a booth and attended to. There was live music playing in the bar area next door, so we benefited from that too. The roasted garlic and bread they serve you is divine! Really… The bread is warm, they give you a plate with olive oil and grated cheese, you sprinkle some salt and it is amazing! We ordered the calamari as an appetizer and asked for the cherry peppers to be excluded. It was a nice size portion, not a tiny amount like other places. Let me tell you, this is the best calamari this side of Route 495! They are crispy, flavorful, and their mildly spicy marinara sauce is delicious. If for nothing else, come for some good calamari! So I ordered the Shrimp Scampi, and boy was that some good stuff. Again, they give you a good amount of shrimp, not just 3 or 4 as other places might. The shrimp is a medium size and the plate portion is also a good size, but the best part is the flavor that is infused throughout the entire plate. It is this lemony-buttery marvelous concoction that begs you for another bite, after bite, after bite. Good stuff I tell ya! Anyway, this place is nice, somewhat casual, but with a hint of elegant. They have a beautiful deck out back with lovely views of the lake and some limited seating as well, which I surmise must be hard to get on a lovely spring or summer afternoon or early evening. My wife had a Mediterranean salad with grilled chicken. Even though they use iceberg lettuce, she liked the flavor, but we both expected something a little bit more diverse, like maybe some colorful field greens. We thought they were trying to say«you gotta order something other than a salad the next time you come here.» Point taken. For dessert we had this raspberry tart that was so good, that we gobbled it up even though we were already pretty full from the meal. It was delicious! Our server was very friendly and always attentive. He did seem a bit busy at times, and only when I ordered the second glass of wine did I think it took a little bit longer than expected, but he came through just as I was thinking about it, plus it gave me time to talk to my wife :-). In summary, this place is excellent for an Italian place and it’s not too expensive. We had an appetizer, two main dishes, three glasses of wine, and an appetizer for a total of $ 59(after using a 10% off Unilocal discount which I only noticed when I opened the app to check-in! Thanks Unilocal!). So five stars it is!

Going online, I saw that the overall Unilocal reviews averaged 4 stars. Unilocal doesn’t list reviews chronologically, so I did not see that most recent reviews reveal that service there has tanked! And the service was horrible. We walked in at 2pm today, Saturday. The bar was full, but we asked to sit in the dining room. We were seated in the middle booth on the inside wall that only has three booths. I sat down and was overcome by a smell of URINE! Old urine. I suspect that either a youngster with a leaky diaper sat there, or an incontinent adult. Some booths are vinyl, this one was fabric, and it stunk! We were promptly moved after I said something, but then the guy seated a couple right in the same booth. And I could see the look on the woman’s face! But she didn’t say anything. The guy clearly did not care at all that someone pissed in one of his booths. Either the restaurant staff knows about it and doesn’t care or they are just being cheap by not replacing it or at least getting it cleaned and sanitized. The dining room was freezing cold. There were only four tables filled. There was at least one person at each table dining with his or her coat on. That would be a hint. There was a family finishing up their meal and the children wouldn’t eat because they wouldn’t take off their coats, hats, and mittens! Mmm, another hint. The family left and another couple came in. Took their coats off, then put them right back on. Again, are they being cheap by not turning on the heat? I asked for tea. Got the silver hot water holder with the tea bag. Only half full. Really? You can’t be generous enough to fill the thing with hot water? I got no cream or sugar that I asked for. Again, cheap. My boyfriend got grilled salmon over risotto. The only redeeming item between us was the risotto. That was good. The salmon, meh. My dish… get a load of this. Shrimp scampi. Mmm hmm. I can understand a little lemon to freshen up the flavor of the shrimp. But shrimp scampi is sauteed shrimp in garlic and olive oil(as listed on their menu). There was no garlic. There was overbearing lemon and oil. When a restaurant overuses lemon, it is because they are masking something. I ate the shrimp. It was okay, not old. But the pasta had a weird taste. Like that of my gramma’s basement. Musty. Perhaps the packaging of the pasta got wet, and they didn’t want to throw it out? A theme here? Like, cheap? Yep, I thought so. Tthe server took the cost of my dish off the bill after I asked to speak to the manager. I really wanted to speak to a manager, but I have a feeling there wasn’t one there at the time. It was more than just the lemon issue and I wanted to share my concerns. No manager ever appeared after we requested to speak to one. Judging from the previous reviews, this was once a good place. Something happened. And I don’t need to spend my dollars there. See ya, Guiseppe’s!

GUISEPPE’S grille CLOSED three months ago!!! Only Canoli Café is open. It’s a cute limited deli-type place. A little venue. Canoli was very good. They gave us a plate of Italian vegetables with our sandwiches.
