This place is SUCK! I am not always shop in whole sale so dont have the habbit to keep receipt. Recently I deceid to try to join the BJ store and see if things work out for me, so I registed for membership and bought a bottle of honey, and forgot to take the receipt. When the women stand on the door ask for receipt, I tried to explain and see what I can do to retreive the info, She just look at me as a thief and not listening at all. Only after a very short conversation, she said: you have to pay for it! Luckily I found the receipt left on the counter to prove I am NOT A THIEF! She think I look like a thief because I’m asian? Did not even listen to what I was trying to say! I may only stay in US couple year and not perfect in english, I may came from another country and not white, BUT I AMNOT A THIEF! So disappoint!!! I destroyed the membership card and will never ever shop in BJ’s!!!

Overall, a good experience! Aisles are clearly marked and products are exactly where they should be. Typical wholesale club with large quantities and ability to purchase in bulk. Some prices are very competitive and others are not, so shop wisely. The only recommendation I would make is for the self check out to have a maximum number of items. Customers were in line with 30+ items and did not know how to use the system. This slowed down the check out process and reduced the overall efficiency of having a self check out lane.

The BJ’s gas station at Northborough Crossing is a separate entity from the club/warehouse. It’s down the hill from the main complex, at the southwest entrance off US20, behind the Starbucks as you enter. For BJ’s members, the gas here is at least 8 cents a gallon cheaper than the cheapest competition in the area(though I did see a couple of places closer to Worcester that were even a few cents cheaper). There’s quite a few pumps, at least 12. They advertise extra-long hoses so that you can park on either side of the pump and reach your gas tank. I had to do that today, and apart from a slightly stronger tug to pull the hose out to the other side of my car, I had no problems with it. If you’re a member, and you’re driving east on US20, get your gas here — it’s amazing how much more the gas is as you head towards Marlborough.
