Terrible place. I don’t know why I attempted to get my wedding nails done at the mall… but I did. I asked for a simple French pedicure and French manicure. The pedicure lines are crooked, and she sold me on pink and whites because«is better». Ok fine lady… pink and whites. Some white lines were round, some were pointy, some were thick, some thin. I had never had them done before and I asked her if she would fix them. So she filed them them. Noooo they didn’t need a file, they needed to be fixed. She actually said«next time, you go see her» and pointed to her friend. My lady had been working here for 8 years. I said idc about next time, this is for my wedding. She said she knows and then painted over it in white, left gaps, and I gave up… paid 72 dollars for a botched job, and ran to another nail salon and got what I wanted.

I’ll start by saying she did a great job on my nails. However, the waxing was a complete disaster. As I was receiving my pedicure the nail tech suggested I get waxed, I said sure because I needed it on my brows and lip. She talked me into waxing my chin and sideburns too, no big deal. She was so aggressive with pulling it off that I teared up. I have burns on my brown and chin, and I had a horrible reaction to the wax or the lotion she used afterward. I’m blotchy and I look awful.

I would give zero stars if I could. This is the WORST my nails have ever looked after a salon. The guy literally did a hack job. He wasn’t even looking while filing my nails and filed them down so much and then had the nerve to ask me if I bite my nails because they’re short — uhhh NO. It’s the filing that made them so short. I honestly would never in my life go back here again. Not only did they file my nails awful, they didn’t cut my cuticles correctly and there’s nail polish all over my cuticles. Awful place awful service.

I’ve had at least 100 pedicures over the course of my life and this was sadly the worst ever. I was in desperate need of a nice relaxing pedicure but what I got was a long wait for a 15-minute rush job of a pedicure. The worst part was that my feet weren’t even clean from this pedicure. The dead skin was left on my feet to rot, nails were uneven and nail polish was all over my toes. The manager saw me looking at my feet in disgust under the drying machine and asked if I needed something. I pointed out the horrific paint job and old cuticles dangling from my toes. So mister manager has miss nail tech come over with nail polish remover on some toilet paper — pretending like she is going to fix the problem. Are you kidding? I’ll fix the problem myself — I’ll NEVER set foot into this dirty place and pay $ 25 for this horror show of a pedicure.

This is pretty much your typical mall nail salon. There was a decent amount of customers there which made me feel better when I walked in.(First time customer). I got a pedicure. The polish selection was okay. Lots of Essie which I like. The staff was friendly but mainly talked amongst themselves and not with customers. The pedicure looks good and I was pleased. Will probably return if I need something quick.

So, it seems like not many people in North Wales use Unilocal.Such a bummer — I pretty much rely on Unilocal to help me figure out my non-at-work-life. Maybe I can start a trend. I went to the Nailery(aka the nail joint in the Montgo mall) yesterday evening for a gel manicure. This salon isn’t fancy, and it wasn’t exactly tidy. I went admittedly late in the evening, but I’ve never been so rushed through a manicure in all the years I’ve been getting them. But I’m not going for the experience; I’m going to get my nails done and have them look top notch when I walk out the door. Despite my concerns and misgivings during the process, I ended up with a really solid gel manicure for $ 25(not including tip). The fellow went to so far as to file the sides of my nails, post-drying, to eliminate any of the lifting that always seems to happen 3 – 4 days in. I didn’t feel pampered or relaxed, it seemed a bit grimy, and I didn’t love the manicurist wondering, aloud, why I didn’t have kids and insisting I would have them. But for a pretty solid manicure for a decent price, I’ll be going back.
