Took my Mom here for a quick late night diner. What a pleasant surprise! The food was very good, at at very good price, and the service was excellent! Mom had a fish sandwich and coffee ice cream pie! I had a cheeseburger, roast beef sandwich, fries and a slice of blueberry pie for dessert! I would highly recommend this place for great bang for the buck food!

I’ve been going here since I was little. The soups are surprisingly delicious. You can’t go wrong with a roast beef sandwich a small fry and a cup of soup. Just don’t sit in one of the silo rooms-I found it a smidge creepy! The waitresses are FAST-delicious meal and a quick experience!

I have been trying to come here for a while now. Usually i head up in the area early in the morning for a trip to wrights dairy farm, and this time i came later in the day as the beef barn was just opening. I love a good roast beef sandwhich and have read the reviews so i bought one with cheese l, t, m. I had also bought a couple orders of fries, i have to say that it was awesome. Just dont forget to bring cash they wont take credit cards its a pain i know but hey its worth it.

The blts and roast beef sandwiches are amazing. The fries are good when they are crispy, sometimes they are a little soggy. Their coffee milkshakes are really good. The place is nice but very small. BBQ sauce is good but unique tasting. The service is fast and everyone is very friendly and helpful. Prices are good too.

Amazing! Roast beef special! Roast beef sandwich with a small side salad and French fries. Add a Coke to wash it down. $ 7. Service is awesome. It has a feel like no where else around here. Old fashion hard work goes into everything they do! Highly recommended!

Absolutely nothing to complain about super good food, great atmosphere, homemade everything, fresh ground horseradish, add a salad AND fries to your sandwich for 1.25. I went a half hour out of my way to eat here based on the reviews and boy am I glad I did. Truly a local treasure. Real steak sandwich for 4 bucks, house made roast beef sandwich for 3.50. You can’t go wrong.

Well folks i give it two thumbs up! Im from southern RI and we have Walt’s, so its a tough call. so I’ll give you my take of here. The parking lot is easy to access, the inside is a bit out dated, but im guessing it might go with the theme? Table seating is self serve and it’s pretty busy! Now to the food! I ordered the roast beef sandwich, and wanted lettuce and tomato and mayo! The buns are lightly toasted, the roast beef is tender and juicy! I ordered a side of fries, i was not a fan of those, not sure what kind of oil there in? Had a different taste! And i had a coffee milk, and yes it was local. from Wright’s dairy farm down the road. So overall its a good place. If i was in the area i would stop in again! Staff is friendly and fast.

I actually love the beef barn. It is so adorable. I like looking at the tables with old fashioned newspaper ads. The food is very very basic, which is the appeal. I went once with my son and once with my husband and son(age 8). It is like eating in your grandma’s kitchen when she makes you a sandwich. Paper plates. No booze. Small portions of delicious and seemly homemade food. I have had the roast beef sandwich special(comes with salad and fries). Salad is no frills — Italian or French dressing. But it is so nice to get a little salad with your meal. My son always gets the burger which is delicious and has that grilled summer burger taste that I live. He also loves their milkshakes. I think all three of us had dinner, including table service and tip, for like $ 25 bucks. Bring cash. They also have a bunch of desserts that look good, if that is your thing — pies, pudding, etc. and the soup is always tempting so I will try that next time!

Good place to go if you want a quick bite to eat. Not somewhere you would want to be for a nice relaxing dinner because it’s always packed but that is probably because you can’t beat the prices! Could probably get everything on the menu for $ 50 and the food is pretty awesome. I’ve never been disappointed by the beef barn

Taste + Value. Best roast beef for your buck in the Ocean Stare. We had two roast beef sandwiches. The soft buns were warm and toasted to crusty perfection. The beef was flavorful, tender, and juicy. I added a dollop of fresh horseradish that delivered so staggering kick that it caught me off guard! All for less than $ 8! The menu was simple, but there was something for everyone. Speed of the service was excellent. We were served in less than five minutes after ordering. Atmospherically, the Beef Barn presents a stylized rusticity that can be appreciated by young and old(there’s even a taxidermy room if that’s what you’re into). We need to go back.

The beef barn is pretty simple. Quick, easy, cheap, delicious! Paper plates and cups. Mayo packets. Fun barn décor. No-frills, cut to the chase kinda service. Cash only. My favorite place to get a roast beef sandwich in RI based on taste alone. The cost just makes it that much better! Tip: Their«large» fry portion is not very large. I do not know what the small looks like, but if you like your fries, you might want an order of large fries per person.

OK, the menu is small, and the food is served on paper plates with plastic utensils. But this place packs some excellent food at extremely affordable prices. The roast beef sandwiches are tender and juicy, while the burgers, hot dogs, and other sandwiches offer some variety for those wanting something else. The fries and side salad are solid, but nothing to write home about. I haven’t tried any of the soups yet, but they look delicious whenever the waitress walks by with one. If you’re in the mood for ‘Haute Cuisine’, look elsewhere. But if you want a tasty sandwich at a reasonable price, put this place near the top of your list!

The Beef Barn is a good place to stop in for lunch. The roast beef is very fresh and usually served on the rare side. The hamburgers are excellent and taste great from being cooked on the grill. Service is fast and they always get the order correct the first time. Everything is served on paper plates and plastic forks, spoons etc.

I am obsessed with beef barn. And lets just be clear from the start. I know beef. Ive had kelly’s roast beef, I been to the country’s best steakhouses, I’ve even had Japanese dry aged in TOKYO. Ive had enough beef in my life time to be personally held accountable for the death of ATLEAST5 cows(hey, I’m a small person). Is this where you go to get the expensive stuff? No. Its where you go to get quality, shaved beef on a soft buttery bun for just under four dollars and its FANTASTIC. dO you love the Arby’s beef sandwich?(Its ok to say yes here, you’re in a safe place). well if so, this is the«normal food» equivalent. And i haven’t even gotten to the best part yet! The whole restaurant looks like the interior of a barn! I ate mine in a chicken coop.

Awesome roast beef sandwiches! This is more of a quick sandwich establishment and not meant to be fine dinning. They do have other items, such as burgers and chicken which are also very good. Not much room inside for big groups. Give it a try if you love roast beef soaked in au jus and piled on a buttery toasted roll. Price is on the very low side as well.

This place is like the holy grail to all of the people I work with. The minute I started working in Cumberland all I heard about was the Beef Barn. To tell you the truth, it may have been hyped up a bit too much! When I finally was taken on my «maiden voyage» to the Barn I was told that I should try a couple of sandwiches with different toppings. My first beef sandwich had cheese and mushrooms on it. When it arrived I could tell that the beef had taken a quick walk through a warm room, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing for me. I was also told that the BBQ sauce supplied on the table was a must. After taking everyone’s advice I can tell you that the Beef Barn is a nice spot. They only take cash and have a cult following. Definitely worth a trip… or two.

It just makes me happy. In every way. The décor. It’s in a barn. With a silo. And a chicken coup room. Stone hearth. Antique farm stuff on the walls. A model train above the menu. Diesel meat slicer. The food is simple and honest. Great roast beef. Crispy fries. Grilled saugy style hot dogs on grilled buns. Surprising soups. I had pumpkin bisque last time. It was great. Old school deserts. Family run. Moody. Witty. Real. I love these ladies. Old school adds on the counter top. I just love it.
