Small little breakfast spot in north Quincy. Gets extremely busy in early morning but absolutely worth the wait. Reasonably priced for the quality you get. I love the Irish breakfast, I get it almost every time! The breakfast sandwiches are also delicious! They serve breakfast all day so you’re never too late for it. Or, turn it into brunch they have few great brunch omelets like the cheeseburger or the fajita omelets.

Food is consistently good. Wait staff are above average. Good coffee for a diner. It’s rather cramped but worth a bit of a wait.

OB’s is my go-to place for a breakfast sandwich: sausage, egg, and cheese on an onion bagel. I call ahead of time, and it’s ready when I get there. Do yourself a favor and stop getting rubber eggs from dunks and micky d’s. The coffee is also pretty darn good too! I’ve never dined in, but this place is always packed on the weekends. I’d get here early if I were you.

Had the birthday special here on 10−18−15. Meals are bigger then Wheelhouse Diner. I even did Wheelhouse Diner b-day special @ midnight. If I was not alone I would have had a long wait for a table. There was counter space ready so I took advantage of that. But if I have to choose for a free meal for b-day, this is the go to place!

I’ve been to O.B.‘s Café multiple times and have generally been served acceptable diner breakfast food. The staff is generally courteous and I’ve been a faithful customer of theirs. However, today(10÷3÷15), I decided to once again dine at O.B.‘s and had severely sub-par service and food. Had the situation been resolved internally at the restaurant, I would not feel compelled to present this publicly. However, the staff at O.B.‘s Café did not show me this courtesy as is standard with customer service, and thus I feel obligated to bring forth this situation. My boyfriend and I ordered the Eggs ‘n’ Hash and French Toast with Strawberries(with whipped cream). The eggs and hash were phenomenal as usual. But to our dismay, a number of strawberries on the french toast dish were found to be moldy after we uncovered them from the whipped cream that was very excessively topped(perhaps strategically) thus masking the evidently moldy strawberries. Being conscious of not wanting to waste food, I carefully ate around the moldy strawberries with the plan to note it to the staff following our meal. When the waitress came to collect our plates, we explained the situation to her, and she paid minimal attention to it. While waiting for the check, we assumed that the staff would have the courtesy to apologize for serving food of inedible quality, instead, we were presented with the check without any acknowledgement of the situation. Infuriated, we left paying just half of the bill, feeling justified that as customers, we should be revered with respect and have our concerns acknowledged by the institution. Upon leaving, another waitress chased us down from the restaurant exclaiming that we had not paid the entire bill. When we explained the moldy strawberries to her, she adamantly stated that no such thing had occurred and moldy strawberries were not served. After some time, the waitress that had been attending to us came out and we settled the situation. She stated that had her boss been present, she could have brought the issue to his/her attention and everything would have been resolved. Instead, we, as customers, were treated as if we were in the wrong. I did not ask to have moldy strawberries served to me, and never, as a customer, should I leave your business feeling as if I was the one at fault. I do not expect to return to O.B.‘s Café again as their treatment of me today does not deserve my patronage.

Best breakfast in town. Great wait staff no matter what day you go in. Sometimes there’s a wait but the food is great and u always leave stuffed. Definitely better than any other breakfast joint around. 6 stars

My favorite diner. Come hungry. The amount of food you get can make a body builder on cheat day blush. Service is slow, but as long as you have good company and you all can put your phones away and talk you won’t even mind the wait. The staff is wicked friendly, and the menu is very straight forward. My personal favorite is the hash, which is what I order on the side of anything I get and then share with a friend. Come early to snag a table on the weekend… or if you and your crew are too hung over or lazy or want to eat in the comfort of your own home: pickup is an option if you call in. All in all, I have so much love for this place! Tip your staff!

Huge portions! Way better than Wheelhouse Diner around the corner. Inexpensive The only criticism I have is the service is a little slow– but they are always friendly despite being so busy.

Cash only! I was really torn between having a traditional egg dish or going calorie crazy with French Toast or pancakes! So glad I went with the French Toast! Buttery and hot and dripping with syrup! Time for the treadmill…

Really good food. Ive only had the sandwiches and every single one of them was great. had the monti cristo(ham turkey and swiss on texas toast) which was delicous. the buffalo sandwich which is very tasty and HUGE, and the barbeque chicken on texas toast which also was very good. The staff all seem extremely nice. I usually get take out for lunch but the people at the counter are excellent. I was going to deduct a star for closing at like 3pm and another for not taking credit cards. but the food is so good i decided to only deduct one for both issues. defiantly worth checking out.

The atmosphere is great. Just a diner, but lots of very friendly locals. The fact they don’t take cards will keep me from coming back. I had the eggs florentine… Nothing special, but nothing wrong with it. I’ll take T into Boston for breakfast, much better options. They do have some good prices, depending on your preferences.

I am from Medfid, so hanging out with townies is sorta my thing. Every time my sophisticated, South End leaning boyfriend skips town, I slip on my finest pair of sweatpants, and my crispiest Sox hat, and head to O.B.‘s Things to know: This ain’t exactly fine French cuisine, it’s not even your Grandma’s Sunday morning pancakes. This is DINER food. $ 5 gets you an egg, two pieces of toast, home fries, and your choice of bacon, ham or sausage. Breakfast sandwiches are $ 3, pancakes $ 6 – 7. Eggs are generally cooked perfectly, sausage appears to be homemade; lumpy and misshapen, but delicious! Coffee is watered down, but not offensive — stick with your instincts — more cream is always better. Staff are friendly albeit a bit old school. Expect to be called«honey» and«sweet cheeks» more than you’ve ever been called before. Don’t be bogged down by social niceties like following normal dinner hours. Some dude rolled in at 10 am and ordered meatloaf with a side of «vegetable melody.» He seemed really pleased. Place is clean and decorated with old Irish stuff and Quincy paraphernalia. O. B’s also appears to be a Quincy police hangout — so don’t be surprised if a whole squadron comes in.

The only thing I don’t like is that they don’t take credit cards, but if that helps keep their amazing prices it is worth it. Pleasant diner experience, friendly wait staff, awesome prices and good breakfast food.

Terrible. 40 minute had past and our breakfast hadn’t arrived. Others who sat after us were finishing their meals. Our server was unpleasant and unfriendly. We left without eating. What a waste of time.
