The Revolutionary

So the concept here is great, I will give you that. However, the sauces were terrible. I opted for the BBQ sauce and my friend got the traditional tomato sauce. BBQ sauce tasted very strange, tomato sauce tasted canned. The cheese and toppings were decent which made it edible. I recommend some homemade sauces and we might have something here.

I went to The Rev Pizza aka The Revolutionary about a month ago with my brother and we got the pizza to go. I had a coupon for the visit. The restaurant is now closed and it is not known exactly why, other than it was caused by an outside source.
The pizza only came in a personal size, and you could get as many toppings as you wanted for one price. The toppings were a little skimpy on my order and the sauce was minimal. I found the toppings to be good and staff were helpful. The sauce was a little bland for my liking and the dough a little hard and chewy. With places like Uncle Tony’s and Twins right nearby it was a wonder they decided to put a new place in this location.
Pro: innovative for Rhode Island, however there is a chain in CA called Pizza Rev (similar name) with the same concept.
Con: a little pricey and there is no large pizza.

I had a lot of fun here.. I Understood the concept before we left to use a groupon. it was neat to just point to my toppings for pizza and have it made. and a very good pizza it was from top to crust. I was also fascinated with the soda machine, it was my first brush up with one of these mechanisms. also, very fun.. .great to know there is good, fresh, and quick made pizza just blocks from home. ..

Great upgrade from what was formerly Pizza Hut. As many have stated, very friendly and helpful staff. We were asked if we had ever been there before, and when we stated that we hadn’t, the counter staff was very helpful in explaining how the process worked. The dough, sauce, and toppings were all fresh, and pizza only took a few minutes to cook. They were out of a few toppings that I wanted, but these things happen, especially in a new business. I wouldn’t mind if they offered some additional menu items, such as appetizers, mozzarella sticks, etc., but I understand that probably is not a fit for what their concept is. I would definitely go back when I’m in the mood for a fresh, tasty, custom pizza. Well done, and I hope they do well, as they seem like very nice people.

give it five stars ingredients fresh and servfice pretty good … the idea of walking into a pizza shop and getting pretty much any thing on a pizza is a ten !!! in 6 minutes too!!! highly recommend white sauce or the garlic butter!!! then anything you could possible want

This idea truly is revolutionary. The assembly line setup allows for you to make your pizza the exact way you prefer. The prices are extremely reasonable and the staff are amazing. At first i was worried at the potential wait time but in just a few minutes our pizzas were ready. If you are in the area you should really consider stopping in for the experience and great food.

I was dragged here by my fiancé. Little to my surprise it was super good. Loved the fact that you can come in and get what is considered a healthy pizza. Or for those blessed with a slammin bod a super unhealthy one, the choice is yours. I used a groupon that came with a drink and side salad. To be honest you don’t really need a salad two pieces of pizza will fill you right up. But hey when in Rome. Only two minor complaints, they didn’t have coke zero and they close at 9:30pm. Needless to say I’ll be back.

This is a cool concept, but it feels as though they did not think about the effects pace would have. I came in here and there were 3 other customers. The staff (2 ppl) seemed overwhelmed and rushed. The pizza was good, it’s a good size for 1 person. Some of the vegetables did not look fresh (basil, spinach, etc). I think once they get a handle on pace, they’ll be good to go.

Very crisp crust and extremely fresh ingredients. We ordered two pizzas with multiple toppings and one large salad. We were all impressed with the quality and taste of each dish. We will definitely be back.

Ordering is very simple and the employees are very helpful. You pick your crust, sauce and unlimited toppings! All for $ 7.49! It also happened to be some kind of special where the pizzas were buy one get one for $ 1.00. Awesome deal.
These pizzas are no joke! They’re huge for a personal pan – and adding unlimited fresh toppings only adds to the size.
It was pretty tough to decide what toppings I wanted, but let’s be honest, that’s definitely not a downfall.
After our pizzas went in the oven it only took about five minutes for them to be done. Super fast!
My boyfriend and I both loved our pizzas and will definitely be back.

Such an amazing pizza! I loved how I got to pick whatever I want on it and in front of me… Best part is they have daiya cheese (a vegans best friend)
Will I be returning? Yes! Perfect when you are looking for a hot tasty pizza.
The service was great, I was greeted immediately when I walked in.
The location is okay and I like how they have a big parking lot.

When I first walked in I was excited to see what was behind the counter. I had heard about a similar concept restaurant but they were all on the west coast. I kept wishing something similar would come to RI. Behind the counter to my surprise was an assembly line filled with really great topping options. Think subway but on a pizza crust. Is it the best gourmet pizza, no, but For the price and value you cant beat it. I really think this is a great idea, I wish them much success. I hope the location will give them that success. I really think if this were a tad bit closer to a college campus the students would love it. Even only being about 7 min from RI college, North Providence isn’t really a college students go to destination. But none the less, for a quick lunch or dinner made hot and fresh in front of you, I would certainly go again!

This place is amazing, simply said. If you like pizza at all, you need to come here. It’s like Subway, for pizza. By time you pay, the pizza is ready.

Assembly line pizza! Great addition to North Providence. Fun concept, great prices, tons of choices and friendly service. Thin crust personal pizzas in less than five minutes! The pizza tastes delicious and love that I can get my own pizza with unlimited toppings for around $ 7.
Kids would love this place. Gluten free options available, as well.

Yum yum yummy! My new favorite pizza place :) It’s like a Subway for pizza. There’s an assembly line with tons of options to make your own custom pizza. Awesome variety and choices. I wish I took a picture of my pizza before I ate it… but it was too delicious not to dig in asap! …did I mention it only takes 4 minutes for them to cook your pizza? AMAZING.
