Hunan Royal Restaurant

It’s place its not the best in town, but good, always fast to make the food.
The get vegetarian dumpling, the its hard to find in tis area.
Over all the have good food, fast and nice service.

I have ordered from Hunan Royal about 6 times in the past two months, and the food is always great. I’d highly recommend their sesame chicken, lo mein, and their steamed veggies are always cooked to crisp perfection. The order always reaches our house in about 35 – 45 minutes which isn’t bad, especially since the food is always still hot.
I’m only taking one star off, because the last time I ordered from here, they sent the wrong food out twice. Luckily they corrected it on the third try and even sent an extra 2 liter soda for our troubles, which I really appreciated since we had a full house.

I had ordered chicken wings, shrimp & broccoli in garlic sauce and general tsos chicken. All was tasty except the general tsos was definitely different than what I have had at other chinese reataurants, it didn’t really taste like chicken nor was the texture like chicken and it seemed to be more breaded than meat. Anyway, first time trying this restaurant and I am by far greatly disappointed. Had family over for a get together and after fixing a serving of the general tsos which no one was thrilled about, I was going to fix another guest a plate and found a dead fly in the sauce at the bottom of the container. How embarrassing! DISGUSTING!!! I almost vomit immediately, never again. Im not into knowingly ingesting insects with my meal.

My family and I have been patronizing this establishment about once a month for the past 15 years. In that time none of us have had any complaints, only sheer satisfaction! Jenny and Kenny aim to please and it shows in all aspects. When I am out of town I no longer bother to try any other Chinese food kitchens; because Nothing compares to Hunan Royal in my hometown!

fried 5 spice chicken wings, char siu spare ribs, general tsao’s chicken, shrimp with lobster sauce, fried plantins, house special lo mien and shrimp fried rice.
best if delivered on a snowy day.
