This is a beautiful library with a fountain in the middle of it. The quiet room is actually used as a quiet room to study and has nice comfy chairs. It also has a nice little room with vending machines if you get hungry. Overall, it’s a nice quiet place to go and study. The staff was really sweet and helpful. The only thing that really bothered me was that around 5:15 there was an announcement that the library was closing in 15 mins, which again is fine. But between 5:15 and 5:19 there were three people that came up to me to tell me that the library is closing. This was even after I was obviously trying to pack up my things there were still people trying to hurry me up. I did not like that. The library closes at 5:30 and I understand that it’s a Friday and people want to go home but it was still really annoying to be hurried like that. Other than that, it was a good place to study.

It was an interesting place with an onsite snack area. The staff was helpful. I will be visiting regularly while her on business.

North Olmsted library is just alright for me. I mainly go to the library to study and they only have about three good study rooms which are always taken. And don’t even think about going when high school lets out, because those kids are LOUD. I feel like an old crazy lady, but I swear to God that’s what the LSAT does to you… I would much rather go to Westlake, it’s only about a 5 min drive down Dover Rd. and you have much more space to study. The people at Westlake are nicer too. At North Olmsted, you can only do the self checkout and if you need help, the ladies behind the desk(who are getting paid to do nothing) really don’t want to help you. I forgot my password the one day and the lady wouldn’t even let me take out a book! Westlake Porter has so much more to offer, go there instead for some quiet study time.

I have yet to have a bad experience at any Cuyahoga County Library, whether it is part of the system or not. This library is no exception. What is great about libraries that are part of the Cuyahoga County Library system is that you can request a book online and indicate which library you want it picked-up. Love it! It is better than Amazon.
