Really good Mexican food! Margaritas here are the size of three New York ones! And delish! Of course, the portions sizes are also three times larger than NY, too! People here were very nice as well. Please support this establishment before Trump sends everyone packing and all we have to eat in the US is carrots and hay,(so we can all look like him.)!

The food here is very good! The staff are very friendly and quick. The food is fast to be ordered and cooked so it doesnt take long to get in and out, usually less than a hour for us. The portions are very good size and they serve chips and salsa for free.

Good food, decent size portions and quick service. Happy hour from 4 – 8 on beer and margaritas. My mom, who doesn’t like«spicy», liked their burrito sauce, it had a nice smoky flavor.

Based on Unilocal review, we were expecting 4 stars quality authentic Mexican food. We had margaritas and fajitas; nothing special just average. I know what authentic Mexican cuisine is! It is one hit wonder place for«tourist!

We found this on Unilocal on vacation. The staff was so friendly, and the food was plentiful and tasty! My daughter and I shared fajitas for 2. I loved the perfect portions of meat, onions and green pepper all sliced nice and thin, easier to load on my tortilla. Generous and perfectly seasoned. Shrimp was fantastic! Son says the chicken quesadilla was top noch. You could tell the cheese used was quality with chicken onions and peppers in.

Happened to be staying in the area. Saw El Cerro Grande while in the plaza. We checked it out at Trip Advisor and other sites. It got good reviews so we tried it. My husband got the carnitas dinner and a taco. I got the lunch carnitas burrito and a taco. Our server was absolutely wonderful about answering all our questions as well as accommodating our requests and substitutions. We wanted hotter sauce. She brought it. We wanted beans AND rice, she let us. We got a pitcher of margaritas. We didn’t feel there was enough tequila in it, though. Usually, after a few sips, you can taste it and feel it. The whole pitcher was tasty, but innocuous. All in all, it was still a good late lunch. The next time we are in the area, we will definitely go back.

Noticed this on Tripadvisor, decided to check. The food was great! A previous review said to try the Chimichangas. We bot did, one with chicken, the other beef. Would heartily recommend. Service was good. Not on the tourists’s overall radar as it has the appearance of a local only restaurant. Not fancy, but good..

Tasty tasty tasty cheese dip — the white, creamy, runny kind. Salsa is pretty good; chunky and not very hot. Chips seem to be made in-house and are yellow corn(as opposed to Tostitos-style), which are always bonuses.

My Family and I were very pleased here. The complimentary chips and salsa were very good. In fact the salsa was very, very good. It was flavorful and spicy. We had 2 bowls of each. I got the enchilada special dinner. It was good. Actually the cheese enchilada, which I usually think is a waste, was very tasty. The chicken and beef enchiladas were good as well. Everyone liked the flavor of the rice and beans. The dishes only come with one or the other, we asked for both intending on paying the extra charge but they did not charge us extra. Bonus! The carnitas chimichanga was also very tasty, in fact it is what I will order when I go back. They serve their dishes on nice looking plates and the food and plates are hot, the way you like it. Warm to the very last bite. Definitely worth it.

Went to this restaurant to meet some friends. When we got there we were seated quickly and our order was taken fast. The wait staff was on the ball getting our drinks and food out to us. The food was delicious. Everything from the chips and salsa to the entrée. It was all great. Definitely coming back again.

Where do I begin. Well I guess I should say I’m from Texas so I’ve had some damn good Mexican food. So I ordered enchiladas and asked for fajita chicken instead of shredded chicken, the waitress wasn’t sure what I was talking about so she asked the manager and he said $ 1 extra. Ok sure whatever. WOW are they completely confused on what«fajita» means. My «fajita chicken» were sautéed chunks of chicken. Not grilled fajita chicken. Not just that, you’re suppose to lightly fry the tortilla, dip it in tomato sauce then roll your enchilada with your choice of meat. WELL these tortillas were straight out of a bag! Dry stiff tortilla! Literally threw some meat rolled it and called it an enchilada. What a joke. My husband ordered the tacos. Again, cold flour tortillas with chunks of chicken and a side of onions and cilantro. Nothing special. Not worth it. My daughter ordered beef nachos… So why did they send out shredded white cheese instead of queso? Needless to say she didn’t eat them. The beef was greasy too. Honestly the only good thing were the chips and salsa. Here’s my tip for anyone reading this that works there. Tell the cook to YouTube and buy some authentic Mexican food cookbooks and learn the proper way to make enchiladas. And figure out what«fajita meat» actually is. I hate to tear places apart, but maybe they’ll take some tips and improve their menu.

Came in last night with my family. Had the beef mini chimis to start. They were very good. I had the steak and shrimp with onions rice & salad. My husband had the seafood chipotle. Be careful as this dish is very hot. The portions were more than generous. Also had the special which offered $ 3.50 margaritas. Not much alcohol but you can’t expect much for the price. I would dine here again.

The salsa is amazing! We got 3 refills! The mini chimi’s we’re really good too and came with an awesome queso. However, we didn’t care for the jalapeño poppers and sent them back. The $ 3 margaritas were a but sweet but really strong. Overall, loved this place! Pretty sure it’s family owned and run which makes me like it even more! Definitely coming back again!
