Update: Visited again last nite for happy hour with my daughters. Volcano Roll was outstanding. So outstanding, the ‘non-sushi-eater’ thought it was delicious. Even bought another full roll to share after happy hour was over. Rich and yummy.

Appetizers and salads came out quick and were good. Terrible long wait between salads and entrees. Our entrees must of set in the window for quite a while because they were cold when they arrived. Had to flag a waitress just to get our check or we may still be sitting there. I think there terribly understaffed with servers which makes for a pretty bad experience.

What a fun place for lunch with a group! We had crab cakes, crab legs and sushi. Love the fact that you can get such a combination in one place. Had fun playing lawn Jenjga while hanging out and eating a great meal. Our server was super attentive and timely! We told him we were starving and he brought the food right away. I will be back!

After searching Unilocal and Trip Advisor, the group I was traveling with landed on Broadway Billy’s because of the good review and diverse menu. I personally was looking forward to the sushi, which was a driving factor in the selection of this restaurant. Long story short, the manager(yes, the manager Steve) served me sushi rows with hair on them. What… why would you ever serve that? Second, it was easily visibly, there were random hairs on 4 of the 6 slices! Come to learn from Steve that«the head sushi maker didn’t have a headband on, ” which wasn’t very comforting. Other people at our dinner table enjoyed their flounder, wings, hamburger though. On a positive, the server was very prompt and helpful, she did not serve me the hairy sushi row!

This is my first Unilocal review, so bear with me! This place was great! I went with my family & we knew it would be good because the place was packed! There was a 45 minute wait, but we ended up only waiting 30 minutes. We were seated outside by the live musician & the atmosphere couldn’t have been any better! I’ve worked in a few different restaurants as a server so I automatically appreciated all the servers/food runners/hostesses etc. Our server was very attentive even though she was very busy. We ordered the Queso Crab Dip & the Mozzarella Sticks as appetizers & both came out within 10 minutes. For our entrees, they took a little longer, but we were enjoying the live music & drinks so it didn’t seem so long! The food came out and there was SOMUCH on the plates! We will DEFINITELY be coming back next year! :)

Would I go back? Yes. Was I blown away? NO! Nice little happy hour, but don’t, I repeat don’t order the specialty bucket drinks…$ 14/piece. One would say«hey you ordered» I would reply«there was no price listed». Food is typical beach tourist food. Don’t order the crab sushi roll… Why??? Even though your .75 miles from the beach this place uses imitation crabmeat. Really??? I will give them this, its right on the menu that they don’t use real crab.

Boardwalk Billy’s is a fun place for drinks and dinner. They have a huge outdoor patio with a bandstand for live music, ample seating indoors, a huge bar, a sushi bar, and tons of tv’s. A great place for groups and families. The kids(and adults) can burn off a little energy playing corn hole or video games. The menu is extensive with appetizers, soups, salads, hamburgers, BBQ, and of course, seafood. If you love oysters, get the party size oyster roast that will satisfy a crowd. A pretty good deal at $ 39. Service is friendly and attentive. One of my favorite places to relax and have a great time after a day on the beach.

Despite a small and in-need-of-repair parking lot, this place overall was fine when visited in mid-May before prime season. The place has an overall bar feel and is very casual. Kids were around, and was fine for our family visit. The waiter was friendly enough. Service was fine. The food was the best part of going here, and that should be the focus. The peel and eat shrimp were absolutely delicious. The ribs were very good. The coconut shrimp were good. The chicken salad was basic, as described. The fried green tomatoes were good, especially with the modified thousand island dressing. The Seafood Steam pot was delicious, although a lot of work. The crab legs were great, clams fine, kielbasa fine, but again the Shrimp were the overall winner. The rumchata and fireball shot that was recommended tasted exactly like Cinnamon Toast Crunch with milk. Great! If you’re a shrimp lover, you won’t be disappointed here.

Recommended by my parents so we stopped here so we could eat outside. Service was attentive but not annoying. Fruity drinks are yummy — tasted like the beach! My husband had the Hawaiian po’ boy and it was surprisingly good — spicy and a little sweet. He also loved the baked beans, which came highly recommended by our server. I had the blackened fish tacos, which our server also recommend when I said I wanted an entrée that wasn’t fried. Again, my expectations for the vaguely described«premium whitefish» were low, but it was delicious! Two tacos stuffed with chunks of blackened fish that were just spicy enough, shredded cabbage for crunch, and a cilantro cream sauce that was the perfect foil for the fish… And they wrap each in 2 taco shells, which keeps it from falling apart.(They also come with pico de gallo, but I’m not a fan so I left it off.) You get a side of your choice — I had the fries and though I’m picky about fries, these were good! They also have a single taco with fries for $ 5 at lunch on Fridays, which is a great deal(2 tacos with fries is $ 9.99). Overall, great place for a casual outdoor meal at the beach. They also have live music and happy hour specials in the evening, so I plan to be back!

This place on my Unilocal says close at 1 am and the door says until. We got here around 9 something and we’re super hungry and the lady ask her manager if they are still open, and she told us no. Ridiculous and bad customer service, waiter just seating down hanging around doing nothing.

Salad with blue cheese was odd tasting, calamari was well done, fried shrimp was somewhat ok, rack of ribs tender but not rib master quality, place was dirty, staff was ok, $ 71 dollars for three, scratch this one off the list.

My family and I love going to Boardwalk Billy’s when we are in town. Very friendly staff and the food is always great. The best time to go is at happy hour. You CANNOT beat the deal on crab legs. This is my mom’s favorite thing to do when we meet up in MB. We will be going back in June for a vacation and this place is at the top of our list to eat at!

Location, location, location… and BB has it!!! Fantastic spot right on the marina with a large outdoor dining area on the water– perfect for watching the boats go by or docking yours and coming in right off the water! Pretty impressive happy hour offerings ranging from $ 6 wings(10) and $ 6 crab legs(½lb) but the sushi at happy hour is really where it is at!!! Try the Mexican or volcano roll– delicious– or there are several others to choose from as well. 4 stars as I was hoping for a larger craft beer selection– they had 4 taps — but when you combine these with their bottled craft offerings it is a decent selection– but not great. I think the specialty here is the“boat” type drinks– daiquiris, margaritas, etc– I think we beer snobs were In The minority! BB has great sushi and $ 1 off adult beverages during happy hour. The sushi and vibe of the place is so so good it will always be a stop when we come to NMB!!!

Loved everything about this place. Free live music on Thursdays. Great happy hour prices and lots of sushi options on that Happy hour menu. Good sushi and spicy tuna rolls. Wonderful crab dip with huge pieces of crab and fabulous fish tacos. We ate outside, had great and attentive service on a super busy night, and everyone liked their food. Peel and eat shrimp were only $ 6 on happy hour. We would make this a regular place of ours for sure.
