Painting with a Twist

Few months back I thought that this would be different and such a great idea to go to a painting class. I asked my boyfriend and he instantly said «Ugh no! Who wants to paint something?» So I ignored him and read reviews and also seen that they have different days with different times and different pictures you can choose from and picked s day made reservations asked and told him this is something I want to do and with him as a couple. We went and had a blast! My boyfriend actually enjoyed it and was so happy he came. You can bring your own wine or beer and the instructors were very helpful and understanding. We will definitely be back. :-)

Let me start with the fact that I’m a dude. I like working on cars, getting greasy, games of golf, and watching razorbacks games at war memorial stadium. So when my girlfriend started asking about painting with a twist I tried to push it off. As always, she won the battle and we went for a Friday night and I couldn’t have enjoyed it more. The studio was easy to find near the dollar theater and parking was more than plentiful. The studio is decorated with canvas paintings, all of which come straight out of the franchise’s collection of paintings that can be put on their calendar. I wasn’t the only guy there, but I was definitely in the minority. There was at least one ladies-​night-​out and another couple. The size of the studio was just big enough to fit a small group while keeping the class intimate, not to mention the equal-​sized party room in the back that we didn’t even use. You walk in and everything is ready for you. The canvases were larger than i expected and the paint and brushes are there. Krystal was a great artist and instructor and did I mention that you can bring beer? Yeah, and its right across the road from springhill with the largest beer selection in north little rock! Also, the owner is always taking suggestions so, if you want to see something on next month’s calendar, just ask and it will probably be there. I’ve got an excellent painting to decorate my overly-​bland bachelor pad and had a blast. I just hope my girlfriend sees this review or I’m gonna hear «I-​told-​you-​so» more than I can withstand– maybe I would have won some brownie points if I had taken her here instead.
