An awesome place to walk the pups. would not wear headphones for two reasons…1. not the best neighborhood. 2. bikes and long-boarders(skateboards), not against either just as a dog walking pedestrian something to watch out for. the cliffs and views are amazing! also, if you are trying to get back in shape this place is perfect.

There are 2 ways to start the trail, we started and parked by the VA hospital. The park seems non existent and shady but it’s fine. The trail is about 3 miles, there are some benches, but no trash or water areas so bring a bag/pack to hold your water and trash. Not many people, relaxing and there are waterfalls after storms. The views are nice.

Very nice walking trail. Every time we’re there, we’re pretty much the only ones there. The views are so pretty. The negatives: The parking lot looks shady. It’s fenced in with a chain link fence. The signs have spray painted graffiti all over them. Also there are no trash cans or water fountains on the entire path, which round trip is about 5 miles. The no trash can results in a lot of water bottles littering the trail, and the no water fountains is just ridiculous. Arkansas is HOT during the summer, and a place to get water for ourselves and/or our dog would be really nice.
