Polar Snow Las Vegas

This truck is really good. I don’t care what the syrups are made of it tastes damn good and it reminds me of the sno-​cones I grew up enjoying at Dodgers games. They have tons of flavors so there is something for everyone. I had one with strawberry and cherry and it really hit the spot after a long and hot summer day. You can follow them on social media to find out what the flavors of the day are and don’t forget to ask about the bogo card. When looking for them they are usually parked on the camino al norte side near the gas station.

I spotted this truck located in the parking lot where Terrible Herbst is on Craig and Camino al Norte. There was a line, but it wasn’t too long, so I decided to check it out. They have around 45 flavors making it hard to choose. I asked about the difference between the pineapple and pineapple upside down cake flavors. The guy helping me said they use the pineapple upside down cake in one of their popular combos «Big Stick» and I remember loving those from the ice cream man when I was younger so I decided to order that. There were a few people waiting for orders ahead of me so the guy said it would be about 5 minutes and he was right. He also gave me a BOGO coupon for my next visit, score! I really liked the taste of the Big Stick and would get that again for sure. I came back with my hubby a few days later and the BOGO coupon was accepted with no problem. For flavors this time I went with grape and bing cherry. I liked them both, but the cherry was really good. The more I ate of it the better it got as the texture of the ice changes a bit and it’s juicer the farther down you get in the cup. They are open late during the summer and have a FB page with a secret menu and current hours of operation. This place is an affordable and refreshing treat for the whole family during the hot summer.

This place is awesome! Location is not bad, fairly easy to find parking. The guy taking orders is very friendly and you can tell he truly libs people, very genuine. I got the mango and tajin as I love spicy. We will be coming back for sure to try out all the different flavors and the great customer service!

Best shaved ice around! Flavors taste great! They have really unique flavors like animal cookie which is my favorite! This place is a must try!!!

My wife and I stumbled upon this place during a typically hot Las Vegas afternoon and were thankful for the respite from the heat. Based on its name, we were expecting a Hawaiian-​style, snow-​like, shaved ice treat, but it was basically a snow cone with fancier flavors.
There are a plethora of choices, from basics like Strawberry to the more exotic such as Tiger’s Blood. I ordered the Root Beer Float, which was served with a scoop of Thrifty ice cream in the middle. Not bad and it did remind me of a root beer float. My wife ordered the Big Stick, which was delicious. It tasted exactly like the ice cream bars we enjoyed during our childhood.
The owners were terrific, answering all our newbie questions enthusiastically and serving us quickly. They even gave us a 2-​for-​1 coupon for our next visit, which was much appreciated. Overall, not a bad place for a cool snack.

This place would be Five star if I didn’t have to WAIT so long most every time I get a craving for some yummy frozen treats. Now don’t get me wrong they sometimes are super busy but I have been with nobody ahead of me and it feels like they move at a snails pace so that just isn’t «five star» worthy to me but it is a super delicious place that gives out coupons to come back and «BOGO» which I love a good deal especially with perks. They have a variety of flavors and some different add ones to choose from. I really love the Tigers Blood with Sweet Cream or Mango with Chamoy added on. My kids LOVE the COLORS rather then flavors so I have gotten to try lots of the «green» items like LIME. I also got a taste of Cherry with Coke. Everything is always really good and they never skimp on the syrup. I also appreciate the fact even if you order a small they give you it in a cup that is easier to hold and makes it feel bigger. In reality I can only ever eat a small which I think is around $ 2 but my BRAIN always WANTS a Medium or a Large and I ended up throwing it away melted and sad or drinking it till I feel ill. Either way I think this place has great prices and friendly staff. I will warn that its best to bring cash as they charge those pesky CC use fees but hey I understand it costs them money to accept them and somedays I don’t feel like riding to the ATM and love the luxury of being able to go «Swipe»

The guys working here were unfriendly and sort of rude (to customers & each other). Ppl had to wait a few minutes before even being acknowledged and they kept slamming the window and cursing. They seemed unhappy working there. The big guy making the snow cones was dirty and sweaty and my snow cone tasted funny (I had banana/​pineapple with sweet cream, they were out of coconut) They also got my order wrong. The one on Cheyenne is waaaay better don’t think I’ll come back here.

I had 6 minutes to wait for my connecting bus and was standing in the shade. The guy that runs Polar Snow comes up and asks my daughter if she’d like a snow cone. I wasn’t even in line, nor did I think about getting a snow cone because I knew the bus would be there too quickly.
Mr. Polar Snow as I will refer to him comes back with a marshmallow/​cotton candy cone. My daughter being the cynical, picky 4 year old that she is tells him, «I only like chocolate!» At this point I feel bad because a) the guy was doing this out of the kindness of his own heart and b) it’s free, we ddn’t even order anything. We were just waiting behind the bus shelter minding our own business.
2 minutes later Mr. Polar Snow’s assistant brings out a Hershey’s Kiss snow cone. My daughter thanked him. He also gave her a buy 1 get 1 free card. Wow! Talk about awesome customer service. And… the marshmallow cotton candy snow cone was the best snow cone I’ve ever had. It totally blew away their piña colada cone. Thanks for the free snow cones and we’ll be back when we have more time.

What a great time we had at polar snow las vegas! We had orange with sweet cream and ice cream! My friend said he had the best tigersblood ever! We will be back, they give you a buy one get one free card every other time! Craziness! I can get whatever size i want!
