If I could give zero starts I would. We waited here for 20 minutes standing in the doorway. About 4 different waitresses passed by us and not one greeted us. Eventually we walked up to one who looked extremely annoyed that we were even speaking to her and asked if we could put our name in for a table. She replies«we don’t do that here, there’s a line» and nodded to a large clump of unorganized people outside. Needless to say we left and will never be back. How do you stay in business?

A pleasant little breakfast restaurant. The food was quite good, and the Johnny cakes were exceptionally good! The décor and building looks like it is on the decline however. There is something off putting about receiving menus that are falling apart. Times are tough to be sure and some facility repairs necessarily have to wait. However, small things like menus are or should be inexpensive enough to keep in good order. I look forward to going again in the future!

Had a great breakfast here, I mean, c’mon, corned beef hash Benedict??? Yes please. Service was great and they accommodated several special requests from our table, there is a tasteful display of kitsch that made us feel right at home. The home made white bread was excellent with their homemade strawberry jam. Everyone at our table had a good breakfast and the portions presented a welcome challenge, certainly ample for any appetite. Definitely worth going to.

They have the best homemade corn beef hash and freshly baked bread. This is one of my favorite breakfast places

My family and I were very impressed with this place. They make their own bread and it’s simply delicious. They also have great coffee. As for breakfast, I definitely recommend the omelettes and the sweet potato hash. The price is very affordable and parking is easy to find, so I definitely recommend this restaurant.

This place has slowly become my go to breakfast place on the weekends. If you go before 10 seating is usually not a problem or you might have to wait a couple of minutes but nothing crazy. The food is good and staff is friendly. They have good corned beef hash and sometimes have sweet potato corned beef hash. The place is old school, could it be updated? Yes but I think you would lose some of the charm.

This is one of my favorite breakfast spots in the wickford area of Rhode Island. I haven’t been here in a long time. I met up with my grandma here last week and forgot how good the breakfast is. Pretty much most of the everything here is made in house. The hash homemade, toast is also. I had forgot they made chocolate or vanilla cabinets for people not local that’s a milkshake. Weekends are busy for breakfast which they serve all day

Another great breakfast ive been eating elsewhere recently with a job change. Being back at Oatleys you realize just how much better it is here. They make their own bread for the best french toast… a perfect Saturday morning

Oatley’s is your typical family breakfast place, one would expect to run in, sit down, and have a hot plate of food served in a timely fashion. This place is extremely busy on Sundays, but if you time it right and you have a small party of two, you can be in and out before being able to have more than two cups of coffee– and I’m okay with that. I really liked their gluten free toast, coffee, and hash browns. I’ll more than likely be back at some point, especially seeing that their coffee was good enough to drink black!

Pros: Homemade bread Homemade muffins Omelets were a very good size Pancakes were good Cozy atmosphere Potatoes were seasoned perfect Lots of counter seating Cons: Having to watch one waitress before starting her shift washed her cell phone screen with the same rag used to clean the counter, put lotion on her face and then put on lipstick all right behind the counter.

They now accept credit cards! Food was good, homemade bread was delicious. Eggs Benedict was excellent. Home fries were a little mushy. Coffee was good and I’m a bit of a coffee snob. Overall good experience.

When you go into a place and there’s only a couple other groups… and people get waited on before you when you were there first, something is wrong. We wanted to leave after not even being acknowledged for ten minutes but stayed. Food was alright but did not feel welcomed whatsoever

Homey feel of an old run down diner. Kind of on the dirty side. Dated décor, worn out a bit. Friendly enough staff and decent food. Bathroom was gross. I got gas before stopping for breakfast and wanted to wash my hands, should have probably used the gas station bathroom. Didn’t want to touch anything in their’s. Otherwise not much else in the area so if you aren’t to picky or a clean freak it’s fine.

First off, they do not take credit cards so come with Cash or a check book. The place is somewhat small and it is seat yourself. Everything is home made. I think they could tell that we had never been there before and treated us with some very tasty Apple-bread as we ordered. The biscuits and gravy were generous and pretty darn good. I kept it tame with steak and eggs. However, the homefries were very, very good. Chunks of potatoe that were crispy were they had been on the griddle, and done right without being over-mushy(overdone). The deserts looked yummy but we did not partake. They had some milkshake concoctions listed on a whiteboard that tempted me but, alas, I with-held. Very homey place that has a rack for your keys and your hat as you walk in. I wished I would have noticed that before we were seated. No one makes a fuss if you keep your hat on but you would be the only one. One last point… even the coffee was good. I don’t expect much out of diner coffee… but this Oatley’s keeps their quality to every portion of the meal. They are also open for lunch.

i would give the food without a doubt 4 or 5 stars. The service is the issue. all of the young ladys there do not know how to talk to customers and hundle in the corner and compain about the management and the restaurant saying they cant wait till they can quit.
