It is no longer the Cookhouse Café. It is now eat naked LA and not a restaurant. There’s no menu but they were willing to make a chicken sandwich while I waited. They play music insufferably loud so it’s not a nice place to sit down and eat. Very weird atmosphere.

Food wise this meal was very good and priced reasonably. I had the Parmesan Chicken Sandwich combo. The Fry’s were s little different and good. The chicken was juicy and tasty. No diet sodas? Service was good as well, I was just a little disappointed in how plain the place was. Almost wasn’t sure I was in a restaurant. Since I can walk here I’ll likely return, but don’t think I’d make the effort to drive here.

Exceptional customer service, great quality food, and amazing prices for the type of meal you get.
They stand out from other restaurants in town for sure, they offer unique variety of foods.
Some of the selections include, freshly hand crafted pastries, most are classic Central American deserts. Yummy!
The menu is full of savory choices breakfast, salads, sandwiches, soups, burritos, and very healthy delicious chicken and steak plates.
You must try!!!

I used up drive out to Downey to get my «Cheat Day Chicken Sandwich Fix» but after discovering this little bakery I’m never making the drive out there again! Chicken Sandwich at the CookHouse bakery is by far the juiciest most flavorful chicken sandwich I’ve ever had! I don’t know how I hadn’t heard of this amazing little place before! Can’t wait to try the other dishes they have! Took a pastry to go and was pleased to hear they’re baked fresh everyday! Yum!
