Wow! This place really deserves 6 stars! I admit I was driving in the area when I pulled up my trusty Unilocal app on my phone. Wow, 4.5÷5 stars, this place has to be good! At first I drove right past it! This little gem is hidden in the corner of the shopping center. Once you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I love that it’s a family run establishment and the family member take pride in welcoming you. They were also very helpful in pointing out what the specials are and what you like. «Since this is your first time, I’m going to make sure you are taken care of,» explained the owner. Taken care of is an understatement! From the appetizers, I’m a huge fan of the falafel, followed by the chicken kabob, rice, pita humos and babaganoosh! After I was done stuffing myself, the owner comes out with a fantastic dessert– on the house no less. I was simply in heaven! I’m definitely going back!

Only thing bad about this place is that the food is sooo good, I didn’t want to stop eating and now I want to take a nap, but I can’t!

Skaf, what happened? Your steak kebob used to be delicious, but in my last order it was just OK mainly because the cut of meat was inferior. The slaw was also not zesty and amazing like it used to be. Honestly, that used to be my favorite part of the kebab plate. The hummus was still very good, thank you.

Food is always on point here. Hummus is amazing and so is the ribeye kabobs. Staff is super friendly and the owner is a great guy, never takes a customer for granted and is always willing to go out of his way to help. Thank you!

Holy delicious!!! This place is worth every 5 star review it has. My husband and I came in for a late lunch around 2pm a few weeks back and it was packed! Now 2:00 is a pretty late lunch time so I can only imagine what this place is like at the peak of lunch hour. The grub: Everything is amazing! Their hummus is hands down the smoothest, creamiest I have ever had. The kafta and shawarma are fantastic and the cabbage salad is delish! Grape leaves are a must, but so is the babaganoush and the falafel. Oh my. Decisions decisions. No matter what you order, you will be in Lebanese HEAVEN! Family run business, the owner is amazing and the rest of his staff too :-) Only con? The parking lot is pretty small(about 10 spaces total) and it shares a lot with another restaurant and a 7 – 11. If you can park on the street, it may be your best option Enjoy!

BESTLEBANESEFOODINLOSANGELES! Hands down! Grew up on authentic Lebanese cuisine and Skaf’s is the only restaurant I’ll go to if I want a fix. Every dish is delicious, but if you’re going you definitely need to have the hummus. It’s flavorful and creamy. Also, the Lentil Soup is a must-have. Portions are large so be sure to come on a full stomach… Or schedule in some nap time! Hah! You HAVE to check this place out.

I was in the mood for some Lebanese and we ordered a little bit of everything. Their Thursday special is homemade Stuffed Cabbage and grape leaves, had to try this, the flavor & taste of this stuffed cabbage just might be the best I’ve ever had. Then we try their hummus & baba ghannouj with fresh pita bread, warm & fluff, a taste of heaven. On top of this I had a Falafel sandwich and a side of their garlic potatoes which I will definitely order again, food here is amazing! The only dish I wasn’t thrilled with was the Falafel pita, next time I would just order the Falafel plate and stuff my own pita the way I like it. As I was writing this review they noticed I was taking photos and brought out their homemade date dessert & strong coffee, a hidden gem of a spot!

One of the best Lebanese restaurant in town! Garlic sauce will make vampires stay away! I have been coming here for years. The staff is always friendly & up beat. I have even seen our police officer sitting down for dinner there!

I’ve been a loyal customer of Skaf’s for many years now and this review is long overdue. While not fancy, this spot greets you with open arms. Their service is super friendly and their food melts in your mouth. Try their chicken shawarma and your life will change forever. I’ve had shawarma all over the world and this one at Skaf’s takes the gold. Also, their hummus has been rated #1 in LA and for all the right reasons. Come to Skaf’s for an amazing culinary experience!

Skaf’s is the best kept secret of the valley. If I could give Skaf’s eleven stars, I would. You cannot get tastier grape leaves in Los Angeles anywhere else. When I moved to LA, four years ago, I had never tasted grape leaves. I tried them for the first time here, and the bar was set SO high after that. Their lemon vinaigrette dressing is unreal. I wish they would sell it by the gallon so I could bathe in it. Their hummus is soo fresh and creamy. Above all, the service is on another level. If you make it a habit to dine-in, the owner, as well as the rest of the staff, will remember you and treat you like VIP guests. Skaf’s has never disappointed.

We walked here while our car was getting worked on down the street and we were received with a very warming welcome. The folks running this place may be related and they were all so nice and friendly. We were hungry so we ordered kind of a lot lol: — Falafel: crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. Full of flavor. It was delicious, especially dipped in the tahini(I think that’s what it was) that it came with. — Meat pie: we saw it on the special menu and decided to try and it was not bad. A little pastry thing with minced meat inside. — Spicy potatoes: these were soooo good! We didn’t finish it all and took some home. It was just as good the next day. — Combo kebab plate(chicken, steak, and kofta): The chicken and steak were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Sadly, the kofta was overcooked and way dry. Like, barely edible… — Hummus: the hummus that came with the combo plate was also perfect! Served with plenty of pita bread, it was creamy and well seasoned! Pretty decent prices. I believe our meal came out to $ 30 — $ 35 for all that food! Service was stellar and the little strip mall has parking. Will definitely be back next time we’re in the area!

Everything is incredibly AWESOME!!! And heals the soul from the inside out. From the lentil soup to the baba to the chicken! Plus the owners are awesome with that cabbage salad that arrives at the table to start almost every meal if you are staying to eat at the restaurant to eat. I usually grab food to go but I can’t think of anything really wrong besides I wish I had a bigger stomach And I drive in from freakin Canyon Country!

Came here for lunch today and ordered the fattoush salad w/chicken shawarma and it was delicious! When my food arrived to the table, I kindly asked the owner if they had any salad dressing. He told me there is no need because it’s good the way it is. Boy was he right. All the ingredients were fresh and the chicken shawarma was cooked perfectly. Everything was flavorful! Will definitely return!

One of the best middle eastern food around. Everything is made there so it’s unique flavor you can’t find at other places. It’s hard for me to go anywhere else for food. Great staff very friendy.

I am not an expert when it comes to Lebanese food, but this place is OFF the chain! For real. Real mom and pop, very attentive service, and the food you get really feels like you’re eating at a Lebanese family’s place — straight and hot from the kitchen. I’ve tried the chicken shawarma, the lule, the lamb, the kibbeh. None of which disappointed. The rice is great, the sides are fantastic. Cabbage salad with a great dressing, and the hummus. So great. You will get A LOT of food for any plate you decide. I keep wanting to try new stuff but I also already love what I always get!

Hands down the best chicken shawarma I’ve had, made with the freshest high quality ingredients. The hummus, the rice, the garlic sauce and the salad were all perfect. Super friendly and attentive service evens out the horrible lack of parking in the packed corner strip mall, which is not easily accessible. This place is the best of its kind in the valley.
