Sandra D – Vintage Hairdresser

Sandra D is a dream come true. Color, outstanding! Cuts, start perfect and grow out beautifully! Stylist, treatments, advice, and ideas galore! I ADORE her service, look forward to coming back from the second I walk out with a fresh do, I can’t recommend her highly enough.
She does organic color, uses/​sells great products, and is more than reasonably priced considering the highest of quality service and expertise that she offers.
Bonus: she is a lovely person, gorgeous inside and out. I wish we could be best friends and play dress up and hair ;)

Sandra cuts hair better than any one I’ve been to. She’s also fantastic with color. She is a lovely person and I always enjoy her company when she’s cutting my hair. She is a gem!

After searching for what seems like forever to find a hair stylist who knows anything about vintage hairstyles, I finally found Sandra D and had her cut my hair last week. I told her I wanted a «1920s bob.» I didn’t have to say one more word. Of course, she knew exactly what I was talking about, and that in itself was quite wonderful.
When she finished the cut, my hair was exactly how I had envisioned it! Can’t tell you how happy I was! I had all but given up on finding someone to do my hair the way I wanted and certainly couldn’t find anyone that really knew what I was talking about. That’s amazing in itself considering we live in a very large, supposedly «hip» metropolitan area.
Sandra really listened to me. When I told her that I wanted the bob, but «it can’t have my ears showing,» she listened and when she finished the cut, the ears didn’t show. Yippie! She also showed me how to dry my hair so I could make sure that it looked like a bob every day. My hair is very fine and wants to turn into a flip, so Sandra made sure I knew how to circumvent that little issue.
I couldn’t be happier with my hair, and I haven’t said that for a few years now. I am currently looking for work and had kind of lost my confidence to put myself out there, and my hair looking like hell was a major reason. I mean, if you don’t look good, you don’t feel good about yourself, and how can you get out there in the jungle to find a job with all the other competition? I ask you!
As others have already Unilocaled, Sandra is a true artist and a lovely person. I will DEFINITELY be going back to Sandra when I need my hair cut. Now that I know she is out there with all of her knowledge of hair styling from different decades and fashion styles, I can’t imagine going to anyone else. I am so happy I found her!

Sandra has been cutting my hair for over 7 years. What I love MOST about her is that I just walk in… sit down… and she does the rest. As a guy… I never know how to explain what I want… but she somehow KNOWS! She has Hairdressing ESP! I love it! The salon is cool too! Massage chairs, Iced tea, great open atmosphere… it rocks! I highly suggest her!!!
