North Hollywood Food Truck Collective

This is going to be pretty unhelpful because for the life of me I can’t remember the name of the truck I ate from, but I believe it was some kind of south american cuisine. Maybe mexican. I seriously cannot remember sorry. But I had a seafood dish and it was deliiiiiicious. Atmosphere was nice, music, families, dogs, and there were some laid back cops around too. A nice time, I’d like to go again.

Been coming here almost every Thursday since May. Love the new location for sure, makes it feel more fun. Bring chairs and a blanket to have a picnic! I love that there are different trucks every time. I’m not always satisfied with what I get but that’s why I keep coming, to try new things. I usually get a burger and fries combo. I’ve been wanting to eat dinner beforehand and go here for the dessert trucks but have yet to make that happen. My boyfriend and I made it out weekly date night that we would look forward to. Lately, we haven’t been able to go but we hope to go back asap :)

I started coming every Thursday night ever since this food truck collective started about 2 months ago. Great concept! It brings together the local community. It is also very conveniently located in the parking lot of Firestone auto/​tire center, with fairly ample parking as people come and go all night. They also provide some tables and chairs for you to sit, socialize, and enjoy the food while the DJ plays music in the background.
The one downfall I would note is that the food trucks that actually show up do not necessarily always match the confirmed list of food trucks they post beforehand. Therefore, don’t come expecting something specific (just in case that truck doesn’t show up), come with an open mind to try various things!
