Really good good food, and the staff was very polite. The miso soup is the best and they had really good skewers with a peanut sauce. Wish they delivered but they make up for that with a dog friendly out door section. My dog also thinks this place rocks ! :-)

I LOVE Lotus Vegan. This is easily my favorite Thai restaurant in LA. They make excellent Pad Thai, and their curries are all to die for. My personal favorite is the Pumpkin Curry. Scrumptious! Surprisingly, their non-traditional food is really good as well. I tried their breakfast burritos recently and was impressed.

Definitely coming back next time I am in North Hollywood. By far one of the best vegan restaurants I have been to. Great options, great service, very clean, fresh and authentic! We had the pad Thai lunch combo for $ 8.95 and my girlfriend had the cowboy burger. The salts could’ve used a little bit of salt but maybe that is just me. We are even taking some food to go haha.

Absolutely love this place! Best almond milk I have ever had… I order the chow mein with veggies and it left my mouth watering. I also bought a cookie(Oat chocolate chip) which has quinoa in it and woah sex in my mouth! Definitely coming back to Loutus Vegan with its awesome customer service!

Pretty décor and there’s parking! Lunch extends until 4 and good is cheap $ 8.75 for lunch special. I haven’t had awesome vegan food but this place does a good job, I ordered the«ginger chicken» which came with brown rice, soup, and salad. Mango sticky rice is season and they use black rice which is good. Would certainly come back!

I like their lunch specials that come along with soup, egg roll, and rice. Portions are on the small size or just right, so more individual size. They do their vegan dishes well – bamboo with mint and eggplants are the ones I like here. Kind of fusion-y.

I can’t tell you how much I love this place. My entire vegan family LOVES to eat here… and that’s saying a lot when you have a 9 yr old boy, 13 yr old girl and 4 very different tastebuds. The staff is the most friendly that I have ever seen… they know our orders, and even know our names now. They always give an extra special touch. The food is FRESH and so tasty. They don’t just serve soy! YAY! As a vegan that doesn’t eat soy, it’s rare to find a place that offers seitan! The soups are incredible. the menu has a nice variety of items and each item is wonderful! I have never has a bad or even mediocre meal here… and it’s not expensive! Lotus is a gift!

Lotus Vegan is the vegetarian bomb. The food is fresh and amazing, the service is friendly and attentive. The soups are delicious. If you are on the 101 stuck in traffic and craving some tasty vegetarian Thai food then this is your place. Exit the freeway, sit down, relax and enjoy.

One of my favorites! It’s sad how much I crave their red curry! It’s so delicious. Love the atmosphere and the service! Very quick and delicious food. Parking is super easy to find and it’s an overall 5 star for service, food, and atmosphere.

Beware: getting addicted to the red curry & yellow curry with«chicken» protein… OMG. It’s one of the yummiest & fulfilling vegan dishes I’ve had. I love that they have a «spicy scale» from 1 – 5. Quick and friendly service every time. They also have fresh squeezed juices & a variety of vegan desserts which are delicious. Parking is easy(street or side) Perfect place for a quick yummy lunch(vegan or not)

My favorite vegan food in the valley. I’ve been coming here for years and they always remember my face. The yellow curry is still the best I’ve had — not too sweet, not too salty.

Nice and clean, lots of seating, huge menu selection for vegan choices. I didn’t eat, just had the iced green tea, it was very good, authentic green tea. My business partners had the curry and said it was delicious. Service was great and friendly. We are having an event in October and hope that they can be a part of it and provide some food. Metered parking on the street. I def recommend!

This pains me more, than it pains you! This location is a mixture of a wonderful culturally influenced food with a westernized appeal. Making the food vegan has removed a lot of what I personally enjoyed about Thai Food. I ordered their lunch special with the spicy green beans. We waited 45 minutes to receive a mediocre meal. Although the green beans were crisp and well cooked, the dish missed flavor and soul. The green beans were soaked in a watered down broth that made the soy chicken soggier than normal. The brown rice they use gets hard, and I had to use the watered down broth to moisten the rice out of its clumpy texture. I think the only redeeming part of the mean was the egg roll, which was well balanced with veggies. I also ordered a coconut juice, which was five dollars. This was my fault for not checking the price of this darn coconut. But five dollars? It was a good coconut, but not five dollars. I practically cried leaving this place. There were barely any people occupying the restaurant, and yet the service was slow. The people who were occupying this establishment were primarily older white people. Looked like a couple were having meetings? Anyways, I wouldn’t come back to this location. Poor service, and poor quality are not good combinations. Those who rate this location more than what it’s worth are those white vegan older people.

How Lotus Vegan does this all without fish sauce, I have no idea. I love the curry and I love their brown rice. Meat eaters, you won’t miss it! I also want to commend them for their 1 to 5 spice scale. I ordered a 4, «very hot,» and it was exactly what I wanted.(Though, the person who took my order did not need to ask my twice if I was sure…) I eat a lot of Thai food and I have a good spice tolerance, and I rarely get what I ask for, so that was a really pleasant surprise. Perfect for a light lunch on a meatless Monday.
