I just moved to NoHo and I will say this is the BEST restaurant around. I’m a regular customer now and their food is great every single time. I’m addicted to their yellow curry and pad see ew dishes. Yummy !!! I ordered many different dishes for my family and friends and they are very satisfied too! I love the quality food, fast service and delivery!

Came here because I wanted to try something besides the usual Thai place. Ordered the boat noodles. $ 6.99. Half noodles and 40% soup. 5 slices of beef and 3 meatballs. Where’s the tripe? Liver? Soup had little flavor and as I got to the bottom of the bowl I regretted my decision. Was thinking of coming back to try the pork hock or papaya salad with catfish but I don’t think it’s something I’ll be doing. I don’t recommend this place especially since you’ve got an amazing Thai place right next door.

We came here for first time to get late dinner and the place wasnt really packed. The food was good and there is no complaining about it, but when it came down to service it was kinda crappy. They took a while giving us the whole order and one person had to wait longer and in the end we did not get our tea hence the 3 stars.

I ordered dinner via Unilocal from these guys. The food was ok, tasty, but nothing spectacular to give me urge to visit again. We ordered beef with basil leaves, a shrimp fried rice, kung pao chicken, and a combination chow mein. The beef and chicken portions were quite small, had mostly fillers as in tons of vegetables and you had to dig around for the protein. For over $ 50, the portioning is a little small.

Ordered Garlic pork ribs and spicy green beans with duck. Horrible fails for both. The«ribs» are tiny burnt ends that are mostly cartilage and inedible. The green beans were soupy with 5 little slivers of duck meat — which I had to pay extra for. Overall, never ordering those things again and it(literally) left a bad taste in my mouth for their food. ***** And in having to log in to post this, I’m just realizing that I’ve reviewed them before. And AGAIN they were out of the rice cake! And AGAIN they were late. And instead of knocking, the dude called from outside my door… Like, huh? Donezo

Really really amazing food, but be prepared to spend 30 minutes minimum for a simple meal. Ordered pad Thai with some shrimp rolls at 3:05. It is currently 3:35 and I’m told it will still take another 5 – 10 minutes. Bullshit! To the owner: stop being cheap and hire another cook. Or else I won’t be back again. Try their dynamite wings and Thai iced tea

Waited over a year before attempting to give this business another try. Sophia interrupted the order and said they were not servicing my location due to an incident with a coconut. Clearly a retaliation as a result of my original fact-based Unilocal review. Ewww…

The best $ 5 lunch in town! I have ordered the chicken pad thai for lunch on several occasions now. Probably my favorite pad thai in the valley and you can’t beat the price. Served with salad. It is not a huge portion, so if you are really hungry, maybe go with a side or something! Takes credit cards. Good service. They have good thai ice tea too. Lot parking. Order ahead for fast pick up. Also, saved us a table when we called ahead for 7 people! Super nice.

Best Thai Food in the Valley!!! I have literally tried all the Thai restaurants in the valley once I moved back here. There are some that are good based upon what you order from them. However this place is just excellent no matter what you order. This is real authentic Thai food and believe me when I say I know what I’m talking about. They even make my food as spicy as I like it without me having to tell them Thai spicy not American wussy spicy. Haha this is the place to to go on this side of the hill! Better yet, have it delivered because they are super small and usually more than filled to capacity no matter what time you go there. Even the larger restaurant next door entire staff eats here instead of their own food… No joke!

Great place. good food. I am a patron. Service is always great! New place next door serving Thai food is horrible btw. Forget name but in same strip mall on corner. Anyway, back to Bua Siam. haven’t had a bad dish yet :) but fave is pineapple fried rice!

This place was small, but clean. My friend and I ordered a few dishes to share which included hot and sour soup, papaya salad and chicken with vegetables. Everything had great flavor and the prices were reasonable. I will go again.

Little hidden Thai gem! Lots of flavor packed in their food. Gotta try the Dynamite Wings that’ll give you a lil sweet, salty, tangy, and spicy. Move over Buffalo Wild Wings. Their crab fried rice and garlic spare ribs are also must tries! End your meal with an authentic Thai dessert too, lots to choose from!

July 17th rating: ***** July 20th rating:*(cold chicken served, microwave was going to be the fix. Read below.) I’ll be fair and give it three stars. On July 17th, we were loving the delicious flavors of everything we ordered. The pad see ewe was very tasteful, their dynamite chicken had a kick, their green curry was delicious, and they had roti!!! I was stoked! Plus, everything was so affordable! And the awesome Mexican, Spanish waitress was just dope. Now 3 days later, I was saddened to not see the polite waitress upon waking in. Anyway, I ordered two of the same dishes and both tasted different. The pad see ewe was yellow, not brown, and it didn’t have flavor. Their dynamite chicken was still good, but it was missing that«kick» I was looking for and there wasn’t a lot of sauce. We ordered chicken ka pao and we realized the chicken wasn’t cooked! It was cold and translucent! When we told the waitress, we showed her and she took it to the back. Then she came back and said it was cooked. Um… So you’re telling me it was, when it’s cold in my mouth?! And then she said, «I don’t know.» Then,(thank goodness the curtain was open to the kitchen) we saw the chef place the dish in the microwave!!! We were livid and yelled to just cancel it. Wow… At least make it right, not toss it in there! I couldn’t believe it! We saw it was a different cook in the back. Ugh. Dang, I want to go back, but only if the owner’s there, with the son and his gf! Can a schedule be posted somewhere? Haha jk… kinda.

Small hole in the wall. Came to try the Yen Ta Fo, but it looked/tasted like a completely different dish. Wasn’t bad but not what I wanted. The one thing that I’ll admit is very yummy is the chicken satay. Small portions. Very small place, apart feels like you’re in someone’s living room.

This was some of the worst Thai food I have ever ordered. I had it delivered through grub hub, but it was still hot when it arrived so I can’t blame it on the delivery service. I had pad Thai noodles with pork(bland, dry, stuck together in clumps, fishy taste, pork was cardboard) also got the Shrimp rolls(all breading, hardly ANY shrimp, fried and super greasy. Might as well ask for soaked/fried bread twigs) then I ordered the Dynamite Wings. Super sweet overly salty sauce, NOMEATATALL on the wings, fried to a crisp, which I like, but it was all skin. Ugh. This place sucks. On top of it all those three items cost me 30+ dollars. I’m telling you, avoid ordering from this restaurant. I am not a snob, I love dirty food and cheap stuff, this was just horrible!

One of my friends is actually from Thailand and knows the difference between the Americanized stuff and the legit hole-in-the-wall places. This would fall under the latter. It was recommended that I come here for their Thai Sausages. The best part? They are $ 1 each. I ordered 3. I also ordered a small bowl of Boat Noodles. Also a side of rice to eat with the sausages. The Boat Noodles were good. The broth was delicious and not overwhelming like some places. The noodles had a nice bite to them. It could have used a little bit more meat, but there are two meatballs in it. This small bowl can feed two so-so hungry people well. The Thai Sausages. A buck each?! If you don’t know what Thai Sausage is, the taste may at first be a bit weird. It’s sour, but delicious. There’s already rice in the sausage itself, but having a side of white rice goes well with it to balance it out even more. Good stuff!
