I like this place because the pricing is very fair, and the service is wonderful. I don’t have a lot of hair, nor do I need any sort of fancy styling, so I’m always bummed when I go to a place and their minimum starts at $ 45 for women, regardless of hair length or thickness. Angie’s only charged me about $ 25 and the haircut was great. Thank you!

Great atmosphere, very pleasant stylists, and great haircuts. I came in today to cut off quite a bit of my hair and get some layers, Lida understood exactly what I was looking for and the cut cost just $ 25. It was lively, peaceful, and all the stylists there appeared very technically skilled, friendly and competent. Happy to have found this salon.

I am a hair dresser myself but I studied in another state so when I moved to Los Angeles I didn’t have any friends that did hair. I went on Unilocal and found the nearest location with positive reviews and ended up at Angies. I normally don’t go to the same salon more than once but Angie and her staff are so excellent that it is the only place I go to. Quick, so so kind, and they do amazing work. I get A full head of highlights and a haircut and they always do exactly what I want. Professionals for sure.

I love this place. Been going here for years. Angies super sweet and so is her sister. They do the best eyebrow waxing I’ve ever had. Angie takes her time making them perfect. Ill never go anywhere else to get them done. Thanks ladies!

Since moving to LA I was looking for a decent beauty hair salon. There are lots of places around, but hard to find a good one. For more than 10 years I’ve tried everything, from small places around, to chains, to more stylish salons. Things change a lot in town, hairstylists you like come and go, so it’s hard to find a good place that’s also reasonable priced you can stick with.
I’ve been passing by this place for years and I never took interest in it. But I saw it had great reviews on Unilocal,since I was looking for a new hairstylist, I gave Angie’s it a try. Thanks to Unilocal,I found a decent place, within walking distance from my house.
For the last 2 years, my husband and I get haircuts here from Karine. She’s nice, attentive, talented, pleasant. The prices are great– $ 15 for a man’s cut and $ 25 and up for a woman’s cut.
The place is located off Lankershim and Vineland, inside a shopping center, it has free parking, it’s not a fancy place, but it’s pleasant, a family operated business. It’s closed on Sundays, opened on Mondays, unlike most places, but that’s fine by me. The owner, Angie, her sister Karine and another stylist are the only people working here, they also do eyebrow work and waxing. They try to accommodate everyone if you’re willing to wait a bit, but it’s better if you call ahead for an appointment.
Nice place, good haircuts, great prices. Nothing fancy, but decent, consistent good service. I’m glad I’ve found this place because of my fellow Unilocalers. Thanks!

Great place and the only place my kids will get their hair done. Been coming here for years and the ladies are great. Very friendly and do their best to interpret what you want.

I get my brows done by Angie and they’re just flawless every time, not to mention she makes good conversation during a usually awkward ripping of hairs from my face. Such a nice woman and she always fits me in even without an appointment! Brows=yes

This is absolutely the best salon I have ever been to! The staff is super friendly, and know exactly what they are doing! I went in to color my hair from a light brown into a light blonde… And all I can say is that it looks AMAZING! I also got my eyebrows done here and they look perfect! Definitely recommend!

These lovely ladies do a fine job and are reasonably priced. I am very happy with my hair.

I go here to do my eyebrows and they always look great. The woman who does them is great at not making them too thin. Friendly but not chatty staff while is perfect for me.

If you want amazing eyebrows go see Angie! I have been coming here for 3 years, she dyes and waxes them. I have thin blonde eyebrows going in and when I come out I have luscious dark brows. Angie is also super sweet, she always asks about my family and my life, I love this place. Go go go!

Very happy with Angie’s! They are honest and straightforward, but they don’t bother you with pointless chit-​chat. They take care to take their time with your hair, even if you’re going for something simple they will not rush you. Prices are absolutely fantastic, it’s $ 25 for a shampoo and cut (no blow dry). Parking is easy and free because of the lot that they are in. My only recommendation is that you call ahead and make an appointment, as there are only a few girls working here at a time and they can get busy. Definitely recommend!

Always get my hair cut and colored here. You almost always have to make an appointment it’s hard to be a walk in because they’re only three stylists and they’re always busy so make sure you call.
Don’t complain about prices people! Then go somewhere else that’s cheaper for good quality cut and color hair if that’s possible ! or you can pay more out of your pocket to go to an overpriced salon. I get my eyebrows done here too. Check out my picture. Karen did color and cut

Best brows in the Valley. And it’s just $ 12! I’ve been going to Angie for 5 years and I’ve never once been disappointed. My husband also loves her hair cuts — he has never had a cut he feels good about when leaving a salon until he started coming to Angie’s four years ago.

I go to Angie for my eyebrows and she never fails to do an amazing job. She really takes her time and listens to what I want! She always does a great job!

The ladies here are friendly & excellent hair stylists. $ 25 for women’s cuts & $ 15 for men’s. I’ll be back! =)

I’m giving them 2 stars because it was Angie’s BDay when I visited and they gave me cake — but all in all it was not the best experience. I sat waiting in my chair forever while the girl doing my hair WAS DOING HER OWN HAIR. Never going back there. The place is cray.

Angie’s beauty is fantastic! I called and made an appointment about half an hour before. I’m embarrassed to admit it had been over a year since my last cut! Karine took the time to remedy my split ends and take just a bit off the length. Overall, great experience! Will definitely be back.
