That is a marimba., This place are one of those jewels. On where a family can meet and have a joyful day at the sound of the memories… The service are great and you will be feeling pampered at the whole time .,

I enjoyed the food and the ambiance. The«A» grade is always a good. I was here for lunch and we got here a little early. About 11:30. Only two two other tables were seated. As soon as we entered we were greeted by two people and we were shown to our table right away. We ordered the Carne Asada, the garnachas, the enchilada and the pork ribs in a white bean stew. All items were right on point. The Carne was charred just like my wife asked. The pork ribs were so tender. No need for a knife. The garnachas wee delicious. I hunger for more… But not today because I simply ate too much :).

The best Chapin breakfast I love to enjoy in here. The micheladas are awesome. Las Garnachas are also great to have with a nice ice cold beer.

We went to celebrate Father’s Day yesterday with Marimba & great food! Dad even cried, the Marimba is amazing. Everyone is really friendly & the food is simply delicious! I can’t wait to come back soon, 2 totally different experiences between the Marimba & the Karaōke Performer. Loved it!

Went to check this place out for the first time because I would always pass by it and it sounded like people were having fun. Going in no one came to greet us or help us out. We had to go and sit ourselves. Had to call the waitress twice in order to get a menu. Place was crowded and their sitting arrangement sucks! You have to get up in order to let someone pass by. I ordered a queso con loroco and revuelta pupusa and they both sucked! No flavor on the food the salsa or the cortido. Pupusas were soggy and half cooked. The worst part of the night was when the host or DJ whatever he is started asking everyone for donations, what the hell was I at church or something?

Nice place for a couple to have some fun. If you are Central American or a Latino descendent. Not the greatest food, but nice service. Even though they only have two waitresses overall ok. I will go back again.

And for sure don’t come on a Friday or Saturday night. Imagine taking your family here for a birthday dinner and not being able to have one word of conversation the entire time. Imagine music so loud the person next to you can’t hear you even if you scream in their face. Imagine one waitress tending the entire bar and restaurant with about 50 people, no owner or manager anywhere in sight. Imagine speaker feedback every few minutes so loud your ears will bleed. This was by far the worst dinner atmosphere I’ve ever encountered. I literally had a stomachache from the loud noise and could not eat when the food came, all I could do was beg for to-go boxes so we could get out of there as fast as possible. The food was less than average. It’s really too bad, the restaurant at this location previously was AMAZING.

As others have mentioned, the place oozes with a great Guatemalan atmosphere! The live entertainment is well, entertaining. The garnachas… SUPERB! The waitresses and bartender are super friendly too! Will definitely come back.

We have been gone to this restaurant several times. Every time the owner and his staff has been extremely nice and polite. The food tastes homemade and they make tortillas at time of service… They have great dishes, chuchitos, tamales, caldo de res, shrimp and steak platters, rellenitos and other typical dishes. Needs more dessert variety. We have gone on Fridays where they have entertainment at about 8 pm which is an imitator(who is great) and dj. on Saturdays they have a live band who plays, cumbias, bachata, etc. On Sundays we have never gone but they also have entertainment. This New Years they will also have live entertainment and they have a $ 10 cover charge. The outside of the restaurant does not depict the warmth and nicely decorated the restaurant is in the inside. We have also celebrated birthdays there and everyon ejoyed the food. I will definitely continue to go back… You will not regret going there. Give it a try.

My brother raved about this place, so we decided to go. We took my mom with us, since she is very picky and«particular» about her food. We had the namesake plate, their specialty«Garnachas», Mixtas and pupusas. We liked all that we tasted. We returned on a weekday and the service was fantastic both times, we ordered carne azada, it was amazing, well seasoned, cooked to perfection. We have placed orders ever since for their«antojitos» tamales, chuchitos, and all has been great. I was told there is live entertainment, and have yet to stay for the weekend(as I have only placed orders to go) but Friday night should be a good night to come back. I hear they have Salsa Lessons and a great DJ. Will update my post once I find out about their live entertainment.

So my parents saw a commercial for this place and we decided to stop by one weekend morning. It’s a bit of a random location(we used GPS to find it) and it looks sketchy from the outside, but the inside was a pleasant surprise. The inside was totally nice and the servers were super nice too. I got a smoothie that wasn’t that good so I wouldn’t recommend it, but I also got a breakfast platter and was pleased with the eggs and such. The food was perfectly seasoned and they give you a cup of soup before your food gets there which I thought was interesting because most Latin American restaurants don’t do that. Some pesky flies kept bugging us during our meals too because they leave the front door open and they just fly in, but they turned on the AC to help curb the problem. Overall we liked it and will probably be back.

What can I say, my first time, I did have a very good time eating garnachas, drinking micheladas and enjoying good live music provided by a good friend of mine(Edgar Sactic), pure Guatemalan atmosphere, I love it !!! You have to give it a try!
