Happy Nails & Spa North Haven

First time, last time here. Was a recc from someone. My gf & I went together, they took me, she waited about 20 mins before someone finally took her. My nails came out fine, although I sat under the dryer for 40 mins. They did 4 coats of polish on here, totally not drying w in the time frame if them closing. He tried fixing them, w only 2 coats, she still left w nails a tacky mess after drying again & w quick dry being applied. Place also wasn’t very clean. Would not recommend & will definitely not be returning.

People very nice and accommodating, place is clean but the technician scraped my toes too hard. I hate, hate, hate when I leave the nail salon with a cut or scrape. Therefore I will not be a repeat customer. The technician did apologize but that doesn’t help the fact that my toe hurts and I have a cut.
Also tried to use their check in offer and of course there was all kinds of excuses on why the fill would still be 25. .. Not good business. Take the offer down or honor it.

this was the worst nail service ever. I called ahead and talk to this woman who spoke very good English and seemed nice over the phone. I made it clear that I wanted the old-​style acrylic with glitter in it so my nail had glitter actually in my nail rather than on the surface.
Unfortunately when I got there she made a mockery of what I wanted…, she kept asking me why do I want this why do I want glitter maybe because she was too lazy to pull up the supplies from the back and when she did, didn’t have any of the shades of green that I wanted.
The man who seem to be the owner of the store force the idea of gel which I was hesitant to because I didn’t want just basic glitter over the top of my nail. I showed them a picture of the gradient glitter tip that I wanted and I brought in a pair of earrings to match the tonal pallet of greens that I wanted. going through the nail process all he did was paint my tips glitter and he rushed through it leaving in uneven and bumpy it took him three different tries to paint my nails because the woman pulled out different shades of blue and missed all the shades of green that we’re still on the wall. I have to go and pick out the shade of green…
I think that either colorblind or they just we’re trying to be difficult with me on purpose because I was specific on what I wanted and it wasnt anything extravagant just tips with glitter fading into less glitter.
When I told him that I still wanted the glitter acrylic I’ll just use a lighter shade of green he continued to say no… much work.
I also wanted one of my ring fingers on each hand covered with rhinestones and he didn’t do that either. he was being particularly lazy even when I was going to pay him to do my nails I don’t understand why he got to manipulate his way about how I wanted my nails it was very uncomfortable and a weird situation.
my nails are mishaped and bumpy and the glitter is all painted uneven. He put on last minute three rhinestones on each ring finger which made it look even worse to cover up the bad nails he produced.
he charge me less but regardless I’m still would never recommend this place to anyone. The woman was snickering to another customer about me when I was unhappy with my nails. The man that did my nails rushed through them and left my nails uneven. on top of the fact the other employee was cussing up a storm and all the tools were dirty. He didn’t wear gloves in his hands were all sweaty as he was doing my nails it felt uncomfortable with all the Nail dust he left just resting on his hand.
in conclusion happy nails DOES NOT do intricate designs. Their knowledge of decoration is very minimal and they’re work ethic seems very lazy. They couldn’t even do a basic glitter tip with one ring finger covered in rhinestones.
The guy manipulated his way about my nails and ended up leaving me very unsatisfied. Too bad for him because I will never go there again. ew never again.

I love this salon. Prices are good, technicians are friendly and my nails last for three weeks. Tiny does my nails and I love her. Its clean and professional. I would highly recommend this salon.

I was surprised at these reviews as from the moment Han answered the phone I was treated professionally and with the utmost respect! My previous technician moved on to an office job and no longer does nails. I was in desperate need of a great place with one stop shopping needs. They were able to take me in immediately Yeah! I also had the pleasure of getting to know my new go to girl! :) Han did a fabulous job with my nails and it was obvious she also had managerial duties which she incorporated flawlessly. She also gave me an eyebrow wax that turned out better than expected. They offer all services which is important to me. They were clean and prices are as expected. Gel fill and eyebrows $ 40. 26 and with a 10 dollar tip walked out of there extremely Happy with Han and Happy Nails :)) I will recommend to all my friends and be going back regularly! I was looking to get a mani/​pedi for my birthday to treat myself. I stopped by this place because it was next to my favorite hair salon. I shouldn’t have bothered. A mani-​pedi here is $ 37, which is way more expensive than most places. When I sat at the pedicure station, there was nowhere to put my coat, so they put it on the ground and it ended up covered in dirt. The water was scalding hot and burned my feet terribly. I waited almost 40 minutes for someone to take care of me. The pedicure was just okay, but she let the water get cold and my legs were freezing. During the manicure she got polish all over my hands, the equipment was COVERED in old nail dust, and she didn’t ask me about shaping my nails. No lotion, or arm massage. When she was «done» with the sloppy job, she left me at the dryer for 40 minutes. That, too, was covered in nail dust. She just left me at the dryer station with no back massage and never came back for me. Oh, and 24 hours later, my nails chipped. NEVER GOING BACK.

The girl doing my nails was texting on her cell phone and applying lip gloss in the middle of my manicure. She also cut my finger. I don’t think they are the cleanest place. there is definitely better in the area. Not a relaxing environment. Don’t waste your money on the unprofessionalism, poor environment and mediocre manicure. I will not be going back.

Standard $ 25 pedicure, but the lady did a good job. She went to work on my heels. They have a nice selection of name brand colors (although I always bring my own). They also appear to be very clean from what I observed.

This salon is awful! I was in town for a meeting and needed to get my shellac nail polish removed. I did not get a new manicure, color, anything else and they charged me TEN DOLLARS! They only charge two at my regular salon. They did a crappy job and I would never recommend this place to anyone!
