Sea Hagg Distillery

Great Customer Service! Along with Good Rum. They were very personable in showing us around giving us the tour. The tour is quick because it is a small distillery, but enjoyable nonetheless. Bought the Strawberry Rum – Yummy, goes well over Vanilla Ice cream. Will be going back as I want to try their Blueberry Rum!

What a cool place! It’s located in an industrial park and where they distill in the size of a living room. I’m not a big hard alcohol person but the room and whiskey were quite good. You could really taste a difference in them vs the commercial brands. It was just my husband and I so we basically went to the back with our guide and walked around learning about the process and sampled. Absolutely no pressure to buy a thing, but we got a few things for our foodie friends as a gift. They don’t sell too many places so its neat to have stuff that is not mainstreamed. This is a must stop if you are local. It also is great to support the people that take the risk to start a business like this. Best to all of you at Sea Hagg!

To be honest, I’m not really a liquor gal, so I can’t really comment on the tastings because everything is too strong for me, so I will go by what my group of friends say.
We popped in on a saturday afternoon. Greeted by a doodle poodle who was really nice. There was a man and his wife running the distillery and I have to say how much I loved the ambiance of the place!
They showed us how they do everything in the back room– including a copper kettle and real wooden drums.
We got some samples of all kinds of whiskeys, «moonshines», and rums. my friends all loved them, especially the strawberry one.
They get most of their materials and ingredients locally, which is really cool… and the guy was really nice.
Good deals on merchandise and spirits, too.
I highly recommend checking it out and supporting a little local distillery.
