Four of us stayed here for 2 nights this past weekend. My gf and I stayed in room A and our friends stayed in room 10. Room A was spacious and clean. Room 10 was smaller but had a screened in back porch to sit and hang out on. A pleasant surprise, after our first night, we returned from a day of sightseeing to find our beds made, and the soap and towels replaced. The staff is friendly and helpful. The wifi was strong and fast. We were traveling by motorcycle and they gave us pieces of wood to put under our kickstands in the parking lot. Nice touch. The room prices fluctuate depending on the season as it does in most places. We paid about $ 150 per night, which was very reasonable compared to other hotels/motels in the area for this time of year and because there was a 3 day event going on(Thomas the Train was in town). The location was great, with good restaurants within walking distance and just a couple of minutes from Conway Village or the Kankamagus Hwy, 15 minutes to Mt. Washington and a short drive over to Maine. I would definitely stay here again. PS We had a «My Cousin Vinnie» moment as a train passed by in the distance early in the morning. Not too bad though as it was far enough away that the motel didn’t shake. And I’m pretty sure that is the case no matter where you stay along the White Mountain Hiway because the tracks run parallel to it. Do not let that scare you though, as it was only one train and as I said, it was off in the distance.

On Tuesday, June 23rd I called the BriarCliff Motel to speak to the manager about a booking issue concerning my reservation that I had made that morning. I spoke with Susie on the front desk. She immediately became defensive with me when I questioned the motels hold policy on debit cards, which I had not been informed of the when making the reservation. When I told her not to speak to me in that tone of voice she told me not to talk to her in my tone of voice and hung up on me! I tried to call back immediately and the phone went straight to voice mail. I called back from a different phone and told her to cancel my reservation. I called back again about a half hour later to give her my banks phone number. Never once did she apologize to me for hanging up on me. I spoke to the manager later that day and she apologized to me for the employee. The manager then spoke to a friend of mine and blamed me for the incident of the clerk hanging up on me. I will never refer anyone to this motel and I will never stay there. This type of customer service should not be tolerated when a customer is going to pay upwards of 130.00 a night at motel that has no special amenities other than it is a clean hotel …

Midweek motorcycle ride in September to North Conway and was looking for a clean basic room. This motel is just that, well managed and clean. The room was a good value. Nice people in charge, would stay again.

We got here and immediately felt grossed out. There were stains on the sheets and not even any artwork on the walls to make it feel less like a prison cell. We left when we got there and went to a different hotel. It was $ 130 a night, which you would think you could get something decent. Nope.

This place saved us from a nightmare hotel stay. We checked in here after a horror story and three night stay at a different location. They treated us like family and helped us out a lot. The cleanest motel in all of North Conway and probably the cheapest. I believe it is family owned. Our room was a King bed, with a porch, TV w/Cable, Microwave, Refrigerator, and local telephone.
