Great old time barber shop. They give great military style flattops with jarhead look. I like the desert camo clippers too ! An all women staff that are all friendly and professional, you can’t beat it !!!

I stopped in here for a haircut about a month ago, when I needed a haircut before a vacation, right after my old barber retired and closed up shop. First impression: The place was really dumpy. The furniture, floors and walls were in poor condition, and the room itself was uncomfortable. It also had an odor that is a bit hard to place, but I vaguely remember very run down houses in the North Shore smelling like that(no offense to the North Shore.) I almost turned around, but I was flying out the next morning, and did need a cut. Anyways, there were two women working there, and that’s it. The other two reviews which were written over two years ago seemed to indicate that it was and old-timey barber shop, with the type of gentlemen you come to stereotypically associate with the old barber pole. Unfortunately, the place must have either been sold or changed radically, because those guys weren’t there. On the plus side, I didn’t need to wait long, because there where no customers inside. However, I still had to take a seat and wait for the two women to stop having a conversation before they greeted me. After finding out that I work in IT, the woman that cut my hair proceeded to complain about how she doesn’t know anything about computers, but hers ALWAYS has a virus. I didn’t need to talk the rest of the haircut, because she turned that sentence into a 15 minute diatribe. The haircut itself was OK, but my wife didn’t like it as much as my old haircuts. I think I paid $ 18 after tipping, which isn’t robbery, but I felt that it was very blah. With a «meh» haircut and a sketchy storefront, I won’t be back. But now where do I get my hair cut?

Been going here for over 25 years. This is a fantastic barber shop with many talented barbers. Its a tiny little shop with a lot of history. There is none better in the area.

It’s a small barber shop that has been around for a long long time. I prefer getting Pete(the owner) to cut my hair… he does a great fade. He works Wed, Thu, and til noon on Fri. I usually go on Thu at noon and the wait time is never longer than 10 minutes. It costs $ 13, an awesome price. There are 3 seats(if I remember correctly) with two barbers working at a time… I hear that it’s busier on Saturdays so there are probably 3 barbers then. The barbers there are friendly.
