Paintball Charleston

The staff was super chill and happy to show us a good time. The equipment was a bit of a pain to use. We couldnt see anything out of the masks. It was basically spray and pray.
The courses they have laid out are pretty nice, but kinda small, so you end up going rambo most of the time until you get shot

First time I have been on a real course with my boyfriend. I was nervous about these «non-​amateurs» but it was awesome! We went with a group which I think is best and a lot of people seem to do it that way. The referees are great, Fun, professional, and encouraging. They keep the game fair and structured. Course layouts are great! Different objectives and courses. Different experience everytime. I can’t compare prices because I don’t know but the staff was great. All in all a good decision and a good day.

Very good paintball place with a huge terrain and multiple (7+) themes. You can play in the woods, green land with trenches and hidden tunnels, a small city with observation towers, the classic field with inflatable covers, etc…
The instructors are overall nice and take security extremely serious, make sure nobody ever takes off their masks on the field (happens more than you’d think), and so on. It costs 75 $ to have a referee for your private group which is ok in my opinion. However, we waited for our instructor about 15 min as he was talking next to us with his buddies so I think they could be a bit more customer-​oriented sometimes as we we’re ready to go. But after he joined our group, he was there for us the whole day.
While their rental equipment is overall ok, the masks are terrible. They fog up extremely fast, especially during games in the humid Charleston climate. After 15 min your visibility is reduced by at least 75% due to fogging which extremely limits your overall experience and fun. Since good masks cost about 50 $ online, I don’t understand why they don’t rent better masks. So think ahead and get a good mask from amazon before you go here — you will have a far better experience.
Nevertheless, 4 stars since this is overall a very good paintball place and the variety of themes to play really sets them apart.

I’ve been here over 6 times now and enjoy it! I think there rental equipment could be better but other then that they keep safety as a number one priority and its good all around fun!
