Jersey Mike’s Subs

I’ve never had a bad experience at any a Jersey Mike’s until today. I have regularly had them exchange the cookie in the kid’s meal for chips, for an upcharge. I was therefore surprised when this location flatly said that they couldn’t do it. I said that other locations have done it. I got a shoulder shrug and a, «there’s no way to do it.» It wasn’t so much that they wouldn’t do it, but the young man at the counter had zero interest in helping. He didn’t even offer to just sell me the chips. He said I could ask the owner, he was right there. He didn’t offer to ask the owner. Just told me I could ask him.
While the other guy finished ringing me up, the rude one went and said something to the owner, but the owner never even looked up. So, I paid for the chips and the cookie that I didn’t get. Then while my wife was waiting for her sandwich, the two guys stood there and continued to discuss how it clearly said that it came with a cookie and a drink. Like I was an illiterate idiot that couldn’t understand what the kid’s meal came with. Again, I was asking for a substitution at an additional cost.
I have consistently had incredible customer service at the one in Azalea Square and very good service in other locations. I have two culinary and hospitality degrees and 20 years of food service experience. This kid has no business in customer service. I will not return to this location.

I absolutely love getting a jersey mikes sub! It is my new guilty pleasure! They slice the meat and cheese fresh for you every time. I can only review the turkey provolone sandwich because that is the only thing I get. The turkey is cut nice and thin just the way I like it. There isn’t a strong turkey flavor to the turkey (I’m particular about meat this way). There isn’t that weird chunk of fatty tissue or cartilage that you can find in grocery store pre packed turkey lunch meat containers. The bread is always nice and soft. I always get it mikes way with mayo. The best way to eat a turkey sandwich I find. And I always buy a giant just so I can have left overs the next day. This location is convenient and the workers always seem happy. I am a definite fan!

This is an okay location for JM’s. I usually go to the one on Rivers Ave but happened to be next door shopping when I got hungry. This location is weird. The staff basically takes your order, makes it, rings you out and you’re on your way. I feel like they are robots. Liven up, peeps! It makes all the difference. Especially when you have a tip jar!

Holy bland! Roast beef has zero seasoning. Bread borderline stale and also bland. If you have to eat here make sure to smother everything in pepper jelly or you’ll be disappointed. Or save yourself and just go to JJ’s.

I love that they slice their meats and cheeses at the time of your order. That’s the key thing for a good sub shop. Also whatever so if you get definitely get the cherry pepper relish with it. That stuff is incredible I wish that they would bottle it and sell it in the stores.

Incredibly convenient for anyone in the Summerville/​Wescott area. The staff is incredibly friendly and the restaurant is always clean. This is the best sub place in the area without having to drive 20 – 30 minutes. I eat here regularly and am never disappointed.

I can’t eat at other sub shops anymore. This place is SO good! The people working are super nice. The ham is excellent and their turkey is not dry and sliced super thin. Love that!
Plus, they have online ordering and you pay online, too! When I ordered online, I went to the store to pick up my food, and there was a really long line. Because I already ordered online, I didn’t have to wait in the store, they handed me my sub and I walked right out. It was awesome!
They are a little pricey, but for good quality and great employees, I don’t mind paying a little more.

Delicious subs, I just hate how much you spend there! The customer service has always been great so no complaints.

Average tasting subs and a little bit pricey for what you get but… you can’t go wrong. Great service too!

Very good subs ! Bread is fresh and the ingredients are always fresh too ! The employees are always friendly and really like that they opened in this new area.

Grabbed some subs for dinner tonight. Sandwiches were quite tasty and added some chips and drinks to make them combos…$ 40 bucks later– ouch. I enjoy a good sub just like anyone else but jersey mikes can a bit on the pricy side. I ordered a giant (that’s what they call their foot longs) philly, a giant club sub, and a regular ham &cheese. The staff was friendly which was a plus.
