Love this store! Everything I need and the people who work there are awesome!!! They do not carry rock climbing items at all for a good reason. Not enough people rock climb to merit carrying it. Especially friendly cashier named Marilyn who is super friendly!!!

bad people bad prices
when I was young my mom bought me the air Jordan retro rising sun shoes. when the cashier charged my mom the price was wrong. After the manager took a long time to fix the problem he charged her what the price was.
fast forward 20 years and today there are so many problems and mean goons who work there now.
when I shop there I never have anyone help me. Im casper the ghost only when I go inside.
I bought a 190.00 pair of nike air max in 2012.
after all of this I will not shop there anymore.

This Dicks could use work. Despite it being organized, clean, and easy to maneuver. The service is lack luster at best. I’ve been an experienced rock climber for nearly 40 years now. I’ve traveled around the world, viewing some of the coolest places from a nearly rare point. Every time I go to get new gear I am always shocked by the lack of helpfulness and knowledge their employees hold. I would expect their staff to more knowledgable about rock climbing and my impact on the sport. Do they know who I am?

I rarely go here, but I received a $ 50 gift card so I thought I would see if I could find something fitness related. They do have a great selection. I think you could probably get most of it cheaper on Ebay or Amazon, but it is nice to actually see the items. We really did not need any help from any of the salespeople so we never asked.
The checkout process was smooth. The bill came to $ 49.85 and instead of leaving the $.15 on the card, they actually gave it to me. I probably would have thrown the card away with the change on it. So that was nice. It’s a decent store, but I doubt I’ll shop here more than once a year.
