I went to Cain for 2 separate reasons, on 2 separate occasions. The first time I went I thought I was going to order a new 335xi. I didn’t buy it the day I was there but emailed the sales guy(Michael) pretty much giving him a layup and telling him I wanted to order the car. I never heard back from him. I’ve never heard of a salesman walking away from a $ 47K sale… boggles the mind!!! The 2nd time I went to the dealership was to work with Charlie to buy out the lease on my M3. I had an extenuating circumstance and I wanted to see if he could help me extend my lease a few days on my M3 before I made the purchase. He contacted BMWFS on my behalf and gave me a 10 day grace period. He was great to work with and he followed up like he said he would. That was great. Fast forward to the day I go into the dealership to complete the paperwork… it was riddled with inaccurate numbers and data. They had characters wrong in the VIN, and the mileage was grossly overstated on the sales agreement. I sat there and waited while he corrected the paperwork twice. I left the dealership and 15 minutes later my phone rang. He said he noticed a few more inaccuracies and I needed to re-sign the paperwork. Seriously? They had 5 days to draw up the paperwork – it wasn’t like I sprung it on them and showed up the dealership! Anyway, since I already left the dealership he offered to meet me where I was, so he drove out to the restaurant where I was and I re-signed some of the paperwork. So, if you need to sign papers with Cain, triple check them before you sign them.
