I had an amazing experience at IPIC. The tip I’d leave for others is «go when no one’s there» …it’s the absolute best way to get your moneys worth and get the attention you may require. We went on a Wednesday afternoon and had amazing servce… exceptional… from the front desk(because my barcode wouldn’t print tickets) to the servers; all was well. The theater was clean, the lobby was beautiful and I am one who doesn’t believe in bathroom pics but next time I visit, oh I’m taking a bathroom pic… it’s that pretty inside. Cost: We didn’t mind. We were slated for Del Friscos afterwards so we ate light. The movie ticks provided comp popcorn so we ordered two alcoholic beverages(the Sangris and the Norma Jean) and some pretzels… came to 50 bucks… yep $ 50 and I tipped the young lady another 8bucks. We got what we paid for… a spacious and pleasant movie-going experience. We’re definitely returning.

This was my first trip to iPic. I arrived early, however the room was being cleaned, and wasn’t available to enter until 10 minutes before showing time. Upon arriving to my assigned premium chair I discovered no blanket or pillow. I asked my waiter for a blanket and pillow and received a dirty pillow. We managed to order before the movie started. Our drink arrived in 15 minutes and food in one hour. We both ordered the angus burger with truffle fries and the naan chos. The burger was bland and under seasoned. I agree with other reviews about the food. It’s over priced and just meh. The concept and atmosphere is nice, but it didn’t deliver for me. *lowered to one star(would be zero if possible) because this place has the worst customer service! After they reviewed this entry, they emailed me and offered to accommodate with free a meal and tickets. After choosing the movie and date… they never responded after. Like really? Why reach out to people if you don’t really want to amend the worst dinner and movie experience?!?

I will warn you that the seats are so comfortable and the blanket they give you is so cozy that you may fall asleep like my guest did. I know it is unusual to start of a Unilocal review by talking about the bathrooms but here it is. The cleanliness of the bathrooms here at this theatre are amazing. Forgive me but I have a thing for cleanliness and I have seen some less than clean bathrooms at many movie theatres. Also I do not have kids but it is good to know that the bathrooms are clean if you have to change your baby’s diaper. If you are looking for an outstanding movie experience and willing to pay the price then this is the place. I went with a margarita during my movie and my guess had a drink and some calamari. The calamari was very salty and our waiter comped the appetizer. Even he said it was salty as he sampled a piece. A very good experience as this was my second time at this iPic. Not sure what it was but so glad I had an opportunity to come in and enjoy the warmth and hospitality as soon as I entered. Looking forward to me next adventure here and to come in to enjoy a show.

I would love to give iPic theaters 5 stars as they deserve due to wonderful service and cleanliness(for the most part). Unfortunately, there are things that I must address as people do pay a good amount of money here($ 56 for 2 people for premium plus seating). The reclined chairs were wonderful! But when sitting in my reserved seat there were crumbs all over the area which I was shocked to see. The view of the screen and comfort is as if you are at home, it’s really a great comfortable feeling. Free popcorn, a pillow, a blanket, reclined seats and wonderful service! But unfortunately I was not warned about the blanket. The blanket releases so much lint I was covered! Due to me being short on time and there being no lint roller I walked around with lint covered all over me from head to toe! I was very upset with that! I ended up missing my special occasion reservations for Seasons52 due to the amount of lateness I endured from having to stop at cvs and getting a lint roller, not to mention actually removing the lint from my entire body front to back! I was not only embarrassed but heartbroken about this new outfit that I wore for this occasion. Coming to iPic theaters ruined my outfit and my entire plans. I am devastated about this. Please review pictures of how much lint I am talking about!

I had a very enjoyable experience here and it was better than I expected. My only previous dine-in movie experience was at the Alamo in Ashburn. Comfort: 5⁄5 The seats were mad comfortable and reclined pretty far back w/leg rests that kicked up. Blankets and pillows were provided but I was hesitant to let that pillow touch my head. Blanket was a nice touch and it looked clean. Tables did feel a bit on the smaller side so I had to really lean when I was eating. There is a lot of room around the recliners. Walking around is a breeze and you’ll have none of that«excuse me» business if you have to use the restroom during a movie. Food: 3⁄5 Food was very average. I can say somewhat overpriced but not as overpriced as I’d expect from a movie theater. I remember getting a hotdog combo at the Rio AMC theaters and paying like $ 12. I got one of the only burgers they had on the menu and it was fine after I added some ketchup. It came with fries, pretty standard fries. It was a pleasant surprise that we got free popcorn. I’m also glad they have decent beer. Service: 5⁄5 It was good, our server was polite and quiet as he delivered the food to us. Parking: 5⁄5 There’s a connected garage that is validated w/movie. Can’t really ask for much more than that. I’m pretty picky about where I park and try to park far away from packs. This garage is roomy and definitely accommodates the picky parker. Note: Park int he basement level(it’s straight ahead as you pull in off the street). Movie Experience: 3.5÷5 Overall, I thought the movie experience was very average. The audio quality was definitely on the underwhelming side and the screen wasn’t anything to write about. — — — – All that said, I will definitely be returning. It was a nice experience and I really enjoyed all the room around the seats. It was incredibly rooming and comfortable.

Ok so this is a great concept and it makes it hard to go to a normal movie theatre HOWEVER, the food is sub par and the drinks are not that great especially for the price. We walked in and unfortunately at the start of it I had ice, straws, French fries and ice in front of my chair(photos attached). It was pretty crappy and really hoping this is no indication as to how the service will be. Eventually someone came to cleanup the stickiness on our chairs and sweep up the gunk on the floor in front of my chair. Another suspect moment is that when your waiter/waitress comes to your seat to get your order they will in turn ask for your card to open a tab. Please know that it will be a nice seemingly eternity before hey bring it back to you. So who knows what could be happening to your card so keep watch of your account as its not like they have a register inside the movie theater room that you are in. Movie is about to start so stay tuned… Ok movie was great so that pretty much kept me a bit more entertained then the congealed pizza I had. Can’t say I was impressed for the price. And the pizza came out way later than expected. The price for two people to have a drink, two appetizers and two entrees came to $ 99 and that’s not including a potential tip. being mindful of that paying for two tickets to sit in the nice«Premium» seating is $ 56. Insanity at its best when your paying for an experience and the experience is way below expectation. Hope this helps.

The good: Ahead reserved seating on either a recliner(Premium) or standard leather seats with movable tray for food. Comfortable. The bad: Expensive. $ 16 per person for Standard seating, double that for Premium recliner, but you get some free popcorn. Really, it’s all preference. Standard is miles ahead in comfort than non-reserved seating movie theaters. If you’ve got the dough and wanna put your feet up, do the Premium seating.

Nicest movie theatre I’ve ever been to! Why don’t we have this in New Orleans? My fiancée and I went to see Star Wars here with his father when we were in town for the holidays. We split the 22oz sangria and the«Naan nachos.» Both were very savory and we tried to eat slowly to make it last. Service was quick and cordial. Recliners, pillows, and blankets? Please and thank you. It was the holidays, so I’m sure the bathrooms are usually cleaner, but there was toilet paper all over the floor and it smelled… Well, I’m sure you can guess what it smelled like. Altogether, a great experience.

We came in to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 3D on a Tuesday night. We had Premium Plus seats which were super comfy and included popcorn. That’s about where the nice things I will say end. Now onto the issues we experienced… 1) One of our seats didn’t have a pair of 3D glasses when we arrived. My husband left the theater and found a pair from a previous viewing to watch the movie. During the previews we realized that the glasses weren’t working and tried to flag down a server — with no luck. 2) Speaking of servers… not a one came to our seats. Just before the movie started, my husband dashed out to get us sodas, which is great since I basically had to trip a server to get someone to help with my glasses. The servers going to other seats constantly walked in the way and blocked the view. There has to be a better way to manage the system. Supposedly there use to be iPads and that could probably have solved it, but those are long gone. You probably could install something like the call button to the table to swipe your card right there(which would resolve some of the other complaints you seem to have about overcharging for service — which is why we paid cash at the counter anyway). 3) The first server said he needed to talk to the manager about getting me new glasses. I am sorry I just paid a PREMIUM to see a movie in 3D, and you’ll talk to the manager about getting the equipment I need to watch it… UNACCEPTABLE! A second server took my broken glasses(which were half working) and said he’d be right back — 10 minutes later(during the middle of the movie so I missed a huge portion of an action scene) he finally returned. If you can’t keep the active 3D glasses charge, switch to passive 3D. Really disappointed. Can’t say anything about the food since the husband only had enough time to grab us sodas and run back to the theater before the movie started. I should have heeded everyone else’s advice and skipped iPic and especially the Premium Plus seats. A waste of money.

Seeing a movie at IPic is definitely a splurge, but it’s fun to do every now and then, especially for the big movies that come out. Trust me and get premium seats. They’re more expensive than the regular, at $ 28 each, but if you sign up online for their membership program it drops down to $ 24. When you’re online you can pick your seats which makes the experience so much better cuz you don’t have to rush to the theater to make sure you get a good seat. I’ve chosen seats in the D section and they were perfect and not too close to the screen. You can add your tickets to passbook on iPhone and then when you get to the theater you just go up to one of the machines and scan it and it prints your tickets. It’s really an easy process and there’s no lines. The premium seats are these huge leather recliners that come with a blanket and pillow. It comes with waiter service and«free popcorn»(okay, not really cuz its included in your ticket price). When I came the first time my friend and I ordered the truffle fries. The fries came out cold and the truffle butter was completely solid and not melted over the fries as we would have expected. And the last time I came the waitress spilled half a popcorn bag on me… right during the beginning of the movie. I wish they would give you the popcorn before the movie started that way you don’t miss anything(and so the staff can see what they’re doing). Based on the fries, I probably wouldn’t order food from here again. There’s a restaurant, City Perch, located in the theater and tons of other restaurants in Pike and Rose, so I’d probably eat before I come. And as for parking, it’s free for 3.5 hours if you get it validated.

Very trendy and comfy movie theate. Definitely upgrade to the premium plus because you can sit in comfy, loungy recliner leather chairs. Also you will have a waiter to bring you awesome drinks and good food. Popcorn comes with the ticket. We ordered the Buffalo spring rolls and the chicken and french toast sticks. The spring rolls were cooked to perfection served with bleu cheese for dipping. The french toast sticks were soooo yummy. The chicken tenders served with it was just ok. For drinks we had the Norma Jean which consist of strawberry vodka lemonade. It was Deelishhhh. I also had the El Corazon… it was just meh. Nothing to rave about. Overall a great experience. I was just here yesterday to see Chi-raq and Im back again today celebrating my bday. Movie choice today is Creed

We love coming here for special nights(read: $$). If it’s a movie we absolutely must see, which is rare, we come here. We’ve been twice and have been pretty satisfied both times. The chairs, the blankets, the personal space. They’re awesome. And the price of the ticket keeps most of the riff-raff out. We haven’t had an interruption yet, and considering how far apart everyone is, you can’t really see your neighbors or be bothered if they check their phone. Another perk is nicer bathrooms. They’re nicely furnished and clean. Where I dock a star: Service can be pretty slow. Why did it take 20 minutes for our complimentary popcorn to show up? Food and drinks are expensive and on the small side. Definitely do not plan on more than finger food here.(The food IS good, however.)

3.5 stars When it come to the viewing experience it is pretty awesome! Having the big comfy chairs and waitstaff available is excellent. The popcorn is pretty yummy. I had the pork wings which were good but not amazing. They came out cold which sucks because I think they would have been better warm. Everything on the menu is over priced. I had a hard time picking something to eat. Their food menu could be more diverse. They have an excellent bar menu. Our service wasn’t very good at all. We had to wait about 25 minutes for our drinks. our food came out an hour after the movie started! We got one refill of popcorn. We didn’t even receive our final check from the waitress. Overall– I spent about $ 100 for a night out with my fiancée. honestly, we can easily spend that on dinner in DC, but neither of us were fulfilled by our meal at iPic. We would likely not go back, but the experience was fun to try. 5 stars for the viewing experience and gorgeous venue. 3 stars for the food.

It’s expensive. You know that going in. You’re going to pay at least $ 50 for two premium plus tickets to see a movie, not including the food and alcohol that you will inevitably buy(otherwise why even go to that theater, let alone pay for premium plus?). The $ 15 a year membership saves you $ 4 per premium plus ticket, but it’s still only worth it if you love movies enough to spend about $ 75 – 100 between you and your date on perfecting your movie going experience at least 3 times a year. I actually do. I can identify at least three movies coming out next year that I know I would like to see in iPic luxury. But more than that, iPic is attempting to take a holistic approach to giving you an elevated cinematic experience. It’s more than the comfort, relaxation and slight sense of entitlement that come with being waited on in a recliner while watching a new release. You’re paying for the full length frosted glass doors in the bathrooms, the high-end location, Pike & Rose, and a bevy of other nonsense that you probably don’t need, but will appreciate. I’m giving it 4 stars because if you mentally accept the financial investment that comes with premium plus, you will thoroughly enjoy yourself. Can’t be 5 stars because the food is grossly overpriced for the quality.

If you aren’t a member and you are opting for a premium seat it comes at a hefty price of $ 28. With this $ 28 you get a large reclining seat, pillow and blanket, a small bag of popcorn and waitress/waiter service to place order for food/drinks. As far as the theater goes it has a fancier ambiance compared to the traditional AMC or Regal cinemas. However the scent of the hallway was no where near luxury. There was an off-putting wet towel/mildew smell through out reminding me of a cheap motel. Luckily this smell did not permeate into the actual theater. Now as far as service is concerned it absolutely sucks. Part of that hefty $ 28 fee is to get serviced. But after my recent experience here I would rather go to any other movie theater and do it all by myself since it’s more reliable. My girlfriend and I were the first people inside the movie theater but we ended up being close to the last ones to get our drinks. Waitresses would walk by our seats and take orders from the people behind us. That made both my girlfriend and I very frustrated. The popcorn also came out 15 minutes after the movie had started. Would I recommend this to anyone? Absolutely not. If you decided to spend $ 28 at a theater closer to my house, let’s say the Springfield Town Center theater, I would have also enjoyed the reclining seats, 1 bag of popcorn and probably 2 beers for the same price. So in conclusion this place in my opinion is supposed to be luxurious but that was definitely not the experience my girlfriend and I received.

I dragged Will C. here despite his protests because I really, really wanted to experience iPic after hearing so many rave reviews from friends and colleagues. iPic is expensive, which is totally fine. But if I’m paying extra, I kinda expect the service to be extra too. Since I forced Will C. to drive all the way up to Bethesda to watch a movie, I acquiesced and gave the OK to watch Spectre(*rolls eyes*). That’s another story for another day. The premium seats are huge, and I like that they are grouped in two’s as it gives off this intimate, date night kind of atmosphere. My biggest complaint about iPic is the speed/efficiency of the service. It felt like we waited an eternity for someone to take our order and another eternity for the actual drinks to come out. Yes, the popcorn takes 15 – 20 minutes to come out, but I was more irked by how long and drawn out the ordering process was. Maybe I’m being a little petulant, but I kept thinking the entire time… GIVEMEMYWINE! !@#$%^&* Also, the main hallway smelled really, really bad… like wet towels that have been sitting in a humid bathroom overnight. Thankfully, that smell did not permeate the theaters, but someone should really do something about that. iPic is supposed to be a luxury movie theater, after all…

I may be slightly biased considering we saw Inside Out which became hands down the best movie ever in my book, but iPic delivered a wonderful setting and service to enjoy this movie. I was in a cave for several months tending to my new baby, and apparently after climbing out of this cave bright eyed, clothed in something other than jammies, movie theaters morphed into the luxury that is iPic! Using the app to order tickets was easy, and the free membership allowed for a bigger discount. We opted for premium, because who knows when I would resurface from the cave again after :) Splurge time! I did not regret it, because the premium seats were the perfect distance from the screen. Getting in was easy… We just walked right into our seats, no questions asked. Service was actually really fast for us, contrary to what I read in other reviews. They were there to us whenever we hit the button, and checked in on us for the final call. I tried the dessert, which was restaurant priced– but it was a pretty huge portion and it was a warm cake with fresh whipped cream. I was pretty surprised by how much it was restaurant quality! The ginger beer was also pretty tasty… Which is a delight from your typical theater soda. Hubby enjoyed his beers. There was also free popcorn handed out. Checks were discreetly handed out towards the end of the film. Never felt like they were distracting. I loved the seats, in that you really get your own space; especially as a couple. I don’t like being so close to others when watching intimate or dramatic films, so this offers you your own nook to enjoy a film. The only minor annoyance was that below our table it was sticky from previous usage… Really wish they wiped down more thoroughly. With that said, I hope they maintain the facility well and don’t let it slip, cause I would hate for iPic to become grungy and lose its luxurious appeal. Thank you iPic for giving us our first solid date night out! Back to my cave.

Hey folks, stop being unfair. This is a great theater. I can’t believe it has low ratings on Unilocal. Here is why it rocks: 1. Premium seating where you recline. You press a button and then you recline. Easy peasy. 2. Free popcorn with premium ticket purchase 3. Full service bar and food menu that is delivered right to your table. 4. Large parking garage with very reasonable prices. 5. Restaurants in the building and surrounding area in case you want a Pre movie meal. 6. Clean facilities. Actually top notch facilities if you ask me. 7. Attentive staff 8. Great décor throughout 9. Easy online purchasing This is a great place for a date or outing with friends. I plan on returning a lot. Thank you iPic for a great time. I enjoyed it very much. Now stop reading and go watch a movie here. Now!

iPic gets 4 stars because oh my goodness those big super comfy reclining seats. Once you go to a theater like this, you can’t go back to a regular theater. I’m sorry you just can’t. I made that horrible mistake of going back to Regal one night, only because it is closer to me than iPic, and it’s like everything was against me that night because I was such a fool to even go back– I had to move multiple times to accommodate larger groups that wanted to sit together(and I had gotten there half an hour early to specifically pick my seats in advance), I was elbowed throughout the movie, the person behind me was kicking the back of my seat– oh the horror goes on. At iPic? You reserve your seats in advance. So. Much. Elbow room. You get to order food and beer and just relax while you’re watching the movie. There’s also a perfect sized pillow and a nice warm throw blanket with the seat. Oh but I should clarify that that’s premium plus seating which will run you around $ 24. The regular seats look just as comfy and spacious, but they are simply much too close to the screen. Now while I love this theater, I do have a couple of complaints. I’ve been to iPic a handful of times by now and to my knowledge, the complementary popcorn is supposed to be distributed, if not during the trailers, then at the latest right when the movie itself begins. With every subsequent visit, the popcorn took longer and longer to come out. Just last week I was here to watch Jurassic World and the popcorn was being handed out half an hour into the movie, which was extremely distracting. And while we’re talking about food– the food here… is not bad? But it’s not good either. I think my main complaint is that it’s too fussy. I get that iPic is going for a more upscale vibe and the food is trying to reflect that as well, but. you can’t go wrong with the basics. Every time I ordered food there I just was never satisfied– something was either too sweet when it didn’t need to be, or drizzled with something my undeveloped palate just didn’t agree with. It might just be me or perhaps I haven’t picked the right items! Either way, I’ll have plenty of time to figure it all out in the future because I am going nowhere else to watch my movies! (Note: Beer is not overinflated in price. Win!)
