I hate giving this RV park 5 stars,(don’t want others to know how nice of park, or friendly the staff is) if this great info gets out, I may not get a site when I want. But have to give credit where credit is due. Driving into the park and going in to register, we were greeted by a very friendly clerk, and great little gift shop. They also have RV supplies… And candy! They is a laundry room as well. This is one of my favorite places for camping of this kind. This is a full hook up rv park, great water pressure, great views, great WiFi, and paved parking. We camped here in a 5th wheel. If you’re in this area and don’t camp here, you’ve missed out.

We stayed at the RV park and really love it. Great view of the bay and great area for doggy. Showers were clean and free. Laundry room was clean and nice $ 1.75 per load. The best thing is guests are allowed to use the hotel indoor pool and outdoor hot tub. The only ding is there are no changing rooms or lockers. No big deal for hotel guests but it is for RV guests. I booked online for $ 20 per night, score!

I came here to visit my boyfriend while he was staying down here for work. Nice clean room. I gambled on the same twenty for a couple hours. Had a very enjoyable evening.

I really don’t know why this doesn’t get stronger Unilocal. It was a great price for a nice double queen room Free wifi, huge indoor pool, outdoor hot tubs right off the water(it was hard going outside in winter to hop in but what fun!), beautiful view of the bay, exercise room, etc. They even had a reasonable dinner buffet the night we stayed there(they don’t have the buffet every night). The buffet for the most part wasn’t super exciting but some of the food items were really good quality! For instance, they had a perfectly cooked plank salmon. Delicious. They don’t allow families to walk through the casino to get to the restaurant, but you only have to walk outside a 100 yards or so(although that was fun in the wild, windy, rainy weather!).

I stayed at this casino with my cousin. I’ve never been treated so rude in my life. Laughing and joking with the bartender when we arrived was our mistake. We should have looked stone faced and not having any fun if we wanted to be served their outrageous priced drinks. We came from our room where we had 2 drinks then went to dinner where the rudest bartender I’ve ever met… refused to serve us even after we drank their water and ate a full meal. Then security wouldn’t back me up and told me I looked drunk cuz my eyes were red… well…my eyes have been red and watering for 2 days from allergies. He threatened to kick me out of the casino in the dark rainy night where there is nothing else but a casino for miles. Was I suppose to drive supposedly drunk with nowhere to go? I will Never return and I will go to every website to review this place and the one star i give them will be only because you can’t pick a 0

I am only writing this on the RV Park! Nice RV park, very neatly taken care of. Wide open spaces for big rigs, and most of them are pull through spots. You have a nice view of the«Coos Bay». They have shuttle buses that go through here if you want a ride to the Casino. I didn’t use the wifi because it was a little spotty, but that would be my only complaint about this place. I like the RV park and would come and stay here if there was stuff to do in Coos Bay. Just not sure I really care much for the casino itself. They have crappy food, and the slots are tight!

Pretty tight machines no winners. They had a drawing we received tickets waited around for the drawing and the woman who drew the tickets look into the drum it appeared like she grabbed tickets she new both drawings. The machines pay low and it’s pretty quiet.

We had a nice stay in a tower room at this hotel. Room was a good size, clean and comfortable. No poker room in the casino so we didn’t spend much time there. Had some nice snacks and drinks in the bar. Saw a beautiful sunrise the next morning.

It’s definitely the best hotel in Coos Bay. Not much more expensive than the others. Only negative is that if the parking in front of the hotel gets crowded you might have to park way on the other side in the casino parking and walk really far through lot of smoky areas to get to the hotel. The service is more than good enough. The rooms are spacious and clean. You can get a lodge which is a little cheaper. Feels like a lodge, but can get views directly of the water. The towers are nicer more contemporary but cost a little more. Have a side view of the water. The rooms(at least in the tower) are nice and spacious. The bathroom is large with lots of counterspace. The have HD programming. The bed is relatively comfortable. The internet is nice and fast. It’s free but you have to have a log-in. Consistently seems to run high 20−30mbs down and ~3−4mbs up. I haven’t tried any of the food options but heard they are not that great. I don’t really gamble either but they have alot of slots and a few of the regular table games. No poker room.

Wow!!! Such a beautiful hotel and room… I have no complaints. As we were on our honeymoon they even discounted the room price. The front desk man was awesome. It was a definate honeymoon room for us. The bed had twig bars for the headboard. The restroom has a separate closed off area for tub & toilet from sink area. we were traveling through & had to sleep so we pulled in. Great great great.

Stayed inba tower room with view of the bay. Room was large with walk in shower. Clean and comfortable and probably the best place to stay in coos bay. Ate at the sports bar and had the brisket for dinner and it was very good. I will be staying here again m

Went to the Mill for anniversary as a family. Front desk gave us comp bottle of champagne. Very nice. The view from the room was very nice, looking out at the bay. The room was not the cleanest. Carpet had large stains, walls had drip marks from something spilling down them, the bathroom door had white goo running down it, and there was someone ‘s hair on the rubber bathtub mat. Tried to go to Timbers café to eat, but they would not allow 16 year old in, since restaurant is in the casino. Only options to eat were the higher priced restaurants. 2nd night of stay, I severely injured my knee tripping in the room. Husband called front desk for a wheel chair to take me to the ER and was told they would call us back. Hubby had to go to front desk and then security(1st responders) came to the room. Because we chose to drive me to the ER instead by ambulance, they made me sign a refusal of treatment form. Security assured us there would be a wheelchair available when we came back from ER. That was a nightmare, but not the hotels fault. When we came back, front desk said there were no wheelchairs available and didn’t know what to do. We waited in the driveway for about 30 minutes before someone showed up with a wheelchair so I could get to the room. Security again advised that there would be a wheelchair available the next morning when we checked out so we could go home. I could not put any weight on my leg as there was a tear in my knee. Called front desk and again advised there was no wheelchair. Husband had to go to front desk and speak to manager so we could get a wheelchair, so we could leave. I just wanted to go home at this point. Stopped at the front desk when checking out and advised the manager that they should not tell guests that they will do something when they don’t. I had been advised numerous times that a wheelchair would be available when it was not. The manager’s response was that they would comp our breakfast, yet this was at noon and we just wanted to go home. She didn’t seem very sympathetic about me hurting myself on their property. We will never go back there again. If you do decide to go there, just don’t get injured.

The Mill Casino has declined a lot since two years ago when I stayed here almost every weekend for 3 months on business. Customer service and Cocky attitudes with staff from front desk to Managers make you wonder what they plan on achieving with the snootiness? They’ll just earn the nick name«Cockyelle»(play on Coquille). The only star they get is for the Sawmill Restaurant where food is great but service is semi better than Hotel. Main Casino carpet smells putrid, and the beverage bar has no more bottled water, just sugary drinks and coffee. They struck me in a God awful smelling smokers room after the Rez agent fumbled my booking for my usual non-smoking request — it smelled like a pit of nicotine, dog sweat and French fries. I couldn’t bear the stink and bailed after 4 ½ hrs of restless sleep, with a pillow case(cover) over my face, with the windows wide open ! ****Be warned of their stinky smokey rooms !!! ***** The snooty Manager got a complaint and was powerless to rectify anything, so I have a consumer complaint going in to the Oregon State Attorney Generals’ office next week. I’ve heard Air b&b’ around Coos Bay are really nice — my advice is to skip the $ 160-$ 200 room at The Mill and get better, cleaner, smoke free digs for half the price.

Nice place if you like to add a little gambling in your camping lifestyle or if you just want to camp. The camping folks can still visit Coos Bay and feel its history made from the original people and those who have arrived in the last 150 years. And if you like to fish or hunt forest game, it’s very close to the ocean and the woods. Or maybe you just like to hike and/or bike it. Just do it. The property grounds are mostly asphalt with slim wood chip dividers between them. Try to pick the front row unless you need to be close to the bathroom. Then you want on e near the office because there is only one bathroom and connecting laundry room Also there is a very large,(like several semi-trucks and trailers large), overflow area($ 15 at this writing) in front for the self contained units. That option is for the campers who arrive without reservations and find that they are unfortunately booked full. All in all a pretty good place except for one thing that bothers me, getting to the bathroom. Life can be particularly frustrating when you have to go at this particular Camptel. I coined the word to describe a motel like campground, which is pretty much all of them. Here we have a secret code to open the community bathroom door and It’s hard to work it. So, I wrote a little poem for the owners and it’s about that precious opening: I typed the secret code into the door, It didn’t work so, I did it on the floor. Nobody is perfect. You can always have room for improvement. Make those codes so simple that a four year-old and their grandpa can operate it. That’d work for me. Sincerely, Grandpa

My husband is there right now, and called in his review. He’s been there 2 days so far, and headed home tomorrow. He is there for a convention, with meals catered by the casino(at our cost). Room: Clean and spacious, but notably lacking a microwave. There was a One Cup Coffemaker, and small fridge. And there was a large cobweb on the ceiling, which remained throughout his visit, he mentioned it at checkout. Food: Horridly expensive, for the convention meals, and he is NOT impressed. Thank goodness he took salami and cheese in a cooler.(And there are other restaurants in the area) Staff: Personable and helpful. They get the 2 stars as the saving grace, although they can’t even find him a microwave to use. My tip: bring a bigger coffeemaker of your own. (Edited upon his return, next day)

Went to warehouse 101 on a busy Saturday night to dance with my wife and all of her female friends, their bar and live music area. Service was good, music was good but so loud we couldn’t talk. It’s a small area(in a large casino) so the music volume is probably hard to control. I and several other wear ear plugs when we go to dance there. You would think that professional musicians and the sound guy would understand volume does not equal quality. Oh well, we had fun. That’s the bottom line. If you can’t tolerate smoke do not go there. Especially if you enter from the front intending to go to Warehouse 101 in the back. It’s a longggggg smokey walk:(going into it from the rear entrance by the bay is much less smokey.

Had to cancel a big trip to Oregon, and after going through my package and cancelling all our reservations(or so I thought), I threw the package paperwork away. STUPIDME!!! Fast forward two months, and voila… I was charged $ 156 for not showing up. I called, spoke to a supervisor, and was told: «too bad, so sad». Well… heck, big lesson learned. So, I wrote to them, suggesting that this could have been prevented if they had sent out an e-mail about a week before our arrival date letting us know they were«looking forward» to our stay. I could have taken care of the cancellation(that I swear was done earlier) right then and there! Think about it: Someone could have booked a «replacement» reservation, showed up, and spent real money there!(By the way, the welcome letter is standard practice for just about any other hotel I’ve done business with)! Don’t get me wrong; a NOSHOW is just that, and I think it’s proper policy to charge for one. But, this just isn’t right. The only problem is, I can’t prove that I cancelled, especially because their computer says I didn’t.

The Mill Casino RV resort, do not stay here unless you love to move your coach every third or fourth day. When you call in to make a reservation they will not give you a site number. You must wait till you get there and then they will give you a site number and tell you that you have to move within three or four days. Our stay was scheduled for 19 days. When we got there the office personnel told us that we would have to move four times within that 19 days. The most fun you can have in Coosbay is, get your lawn chair and a cold beer and set out on the driveway and watch the rigs moving from site to site. With the husbands and the wives hollering and arguing and shaking their fists of each other it really is a lot of fun to watch. We were told at check-in but because of our inconvenience of having to move so many times. That the casino would comp us two dinners. Will guess what to dinner comp never showed up nobody ever mentioned it again and I asked twice. The laundry had two machines broken the whole time we were there plus the air conditioner did not work. I think you can tell from my review that we will never stay there again. There are too many other parks within short driving distance. If you go there be ready to play musical coaches.

Surprisingly elegant hotel. Love our room. The big window was facing the water and part of the freeway and at night it was lovely. Our room was big with a king bed and the linens are fresh. The carpet clean, pillows fluffy and there were enough nicely placed lights all around the room. It always makes me feel better since I can blast the whole place with light and look around for telltale signs of nasty! But found none! I recommend this hotel! The front desk staff were friendly, professional and very helpful. Love the fireplace area by the entrance. Very cozy! Big parking lot. Right by the freeway.
