Moving to CB from central California has been shocking enough and when I go into Joanns here I feel like I’m home. This JF has the Friendliest staff I’ve ever met. From the person running the register to the one stocking shelfs, everyone is willing to help out. Sorry I have to play a favoritism card here and say Mr. Paul is the most helpful, friendly and knowledgeable employee I’ve seen in a work place. I went in, typical girl mindset not knowing what I wanted but just an idea, I told Paul the gist of what I dancing around and he took me to a few different places I could find fabric, starting with on sale items and moving on. Uh hello, on sale… Easiest way to a girls heart! Haha All around GREAT employee. Unfortunately I don’t remember the sweet lady who I usually run into on the weekends, short brown hair, I believe, and possibly a manager? She is Great as well, I love running into her; She always has a smile on and is ready to get you your text coupons! Which I love! Your staff is %110 awesome, store is always clean and organized and not to mention it’s HUGE! Well it seems bigger than the one back home ;) *they have a small area for sewing and crochet/knitting lessons also* So Rad!

Who was responsible for the hideous redesign of the store in CoosBay Oregon? You effectively restricted shopping for the senior and disabled population of the area I used to be able to stop quickly and easily and independently in your store 3 or 4 times a week. Now I have only been there once since you moved and rearranged. The store is mostly unaccessible, cold and unfriendly feeling. Not the clerks, the store ambience. It feels like it’s hermetically sealed. I resent the entire situation. Before you make such radical changes you should check with the customers. By your arrogance you have effectively ruined my shopping at your store.

At my height of 5″ the arrangement of fabric on the top shelves in the renovated North Bend, OR is impossible for me to see, let alone reach. Guess I’ll have to go elsewhere in the future since I choose not to be restricted to the bottom shelves!

It has what you need if you are looking for craft or sewing/quilting/etc. items.

i come into this Joann’s every week, usually 2 or 3 times. today i want in to get supplies to finish a wedding gift i’ve been working on for about a year and received some monumentally terrible service. without getting too technical, the fabric i needed was cut into 2 pieces so i offered to go ahead and buy the bigger piece and take the smaller piece to sew them together. they refused to sell me the smaller remnant at a discount when it is store policy to do so, and they’ve done it several times in the past. i’m going to try to do my(extensive) fabric purchasing elsewhere from now on.
