Waxing the City

The woman that did my eyebrows was very knowledgeable and taught me so much that I didn’t know about waxing eyebrows. She was very friendly and answered all my questions. I have already recommended my Mother in law come here

I had my first Brazilian yesterday with Dana and to say I was nervous is an understatement. I’ll tattoo and pierce (almost) anything but waxing… it’s a whole new ballgame. I AM A WEENIE.
So I bought the numbing cream which I don’t know how much it helped but it didn’t hurt to try (I had wanted the serum but they were sold out).
Dana was very nice and explained everything to me before we started and as we went. She kept the convo going which was huge. My hands were clammy the whole time. At one point we were telling jokes. She was really sweet and as gentile as you can be while having your ladyhood serviced in the most non sexual way.
I was a flincher (if you will lol) and the anticipation of knowing she’s ready to «remove» the strip was killing me. There were a few parts that hurt more than others but all in all I survived.
Please know:
–The first time is always the worst they say. I’m listening to them bc that’s what everyone says.
–The butt doesn’t hurt at all. TAKE MY WORD FOR IT.
–DON’T youtube ANYTHING beforehand
–Don’t shave for at least 2 – 3 weeks before going in. The longer the better (that’s what SHE said). Hair needs to be at least the length of a grain of rice.
–You too will survive. I promise.
–Pain is temporary but a shiny sleek chucky is AMAZING!!!
–When your waxers name is Box… it’s meant to be!
This place hands down is a 5 star establishment!!! I can’t wait for my next appt!

Had a great experience at Waxing the City. The staff is genuine and friendly. Dana did a fantastic job! Their method of waxing is precise and significantly less painful than previous experiences I’ve had over the years. I would definitely go back. They offered 50% off the first service.
