We’ve always gotten delivery orders of thin crust pizzas and have enjoyed them. Some are better than others and I believe it depends on who puts the pizza together. Family style salad is hit or miss with a nice full container with an adequate amount of onions, tomatoes, cucumbers one time and a dismal amount of salad in the container at a later delivery order. Don’t get the appetizers! Overpriced for a small amount. Serving size is by weight not pieces. At times, the girl on the phone, taking the order, gets the information incorrect even when I talk slowly. I have had to repeat multiple times the order and card number. The delivery people are great! Cheerful and very polite. I tip them generously.

My family has never had a problem with then but last time we were there when we started taking pizza out of the box. We found more than one feather cooked into the bread. And holding the pizza pieces together feathers like from an animal. They gave us our money back but the driver kept the tip and my family tips good. Never going back

Moved to North Aurora 7 years ago from St. Charles. Prior to the move, Charlie Fox’s had set the bar for us for delivery pizza. Well, they have taken a back seat to Maciano’s. We’ve ordered pizza from them nearly monthly and it’s always awesome, cooked just right, hot, etc. Service has always been very good as well. Their crust is a really nice, thin cripsy crust that supports the pizza very well. They have a sweeter tomato sauce on their pizza which we love. Good tasting sausage and their pepperoni has a nice little zing to it. Not enough to deter you from eating it, but just enough to say«hello, vicar. We didn’t expect you but you’re cool. you can stay!». We’ve dabbled with their deep dish/stuffed pizzas & we’d put them up against Giordano’s or Lou Malnati’s any day as well. They also offer pizza by the slice for lunch. Slices are huge, doughy and a little greasy but still very good. Love this place. Just wish they had more specials or were a bit cheaper.

Okay the pizza is great– there is no denying that. But i will never go here again after how the staff treated my step-dad. My family was in town visiting and we ordered a pizza and my stepdad offered to go pick it up. He is in his late 70s has early Parkinsons and is starting to have memory problems. But the place is right down the street and he wanted to be helpful and go pick it up. He left his cell phone at my house and when he got there they refused to give him the pizza. He gave my name but couldn’t remember my phone number and didn’t have his phone on him. They harassed him and refused to let him pick up the pizza because he couldn’t verify my phone number. THESIMPLEANDLOGICALSOLUTIONWOULDBETOCALLMETHEMSELVESSINCETHEYDIDHAVEMYNUMBERANDVERIFYTHATHEWASPICKINGUPFORME. Instead they insulted and humiliated my aging stepdad and he came back flustered, upset, and empty handed when all he wanted to do was something nice and helpful. I ended up having to go over there and rip them a new one and pick it up myself. Exactly how many old men go there to steal pizzas? I explained to them that it doesn’t take a genius or even a high school diploma to figure out that they should have just called me. I was offered a blank stare and an «oops» apology from the nitwit behind the counter. I will not ever be going back.

I can’t write a review on the food at this location because the customer service was horrible on the phone. I was put on hold three times half way through my order. I was also on hold for over 15 minutes and when I asked to speak to the manager I was he was to busy to speak to me. I hung up and called back to speak to the manager an recieved the same excuse that he was to busy and put on hold as I was speaking. The worst customer service ever!!!

Great pizza — OK Beefs — meh everything else. Pretty overpriced across the board in my opinion. $ 30 for a couple beefs ½ bag of fries and 8 onion rings. Will explore better value options.

Great deep dish pizza, avoid the beef Their deep dish is awesome, just as good as(if not better than) the more well known Chicago deep dish joints. No joke. Recently, we felt like Italian Beef and decided to give Maciano’s a shot and have them deliver instead of driving over to Portillio’s and dealing with the hell that is Route 59. Never again. The beef itself was not cut as thin as it should be, was fatty, and lacked flavor. The au jus or «salt juice» on the side did not help. The hot peppers were awful — looked disgusting and too hot for beef… how about some giardiniera? Oh yeah, they forgot the sweet peppers too which may have made the sandwich at least edible.

* Lunch time«Pizza Slice» review * This is an exclusive carryout joint. The temperature at the order counter is just shy of inferno. My cheese and sausage slice required a bit of persuasion primarily because the intense heat literally welded the slices back together. I was completely surprised by the conveyance of gravity. This is absolutely the heaviest pizza slice I have ever encountered. A ton of bread, a ton of sausage and a ton of grease.

Pizza wasn’t bad, but the wings… really not good. They were breaded and really soggy – it didn’t help that the delivery person forgot them when she brought the order to our house. I’m sure they sat in the container and steamed for an extra 30 minutes when she went back to get them. Pretty sure they didn’t remake them!

Just ok. We ordered a small pizza with half green peppers and half bacon. The bacon was so burnt that it was almost inedible. We also ordered mozzerella sticks which were pretty good. I’m glad they deliver and have online ordering. We will probably try it again and see how it is before writing this place off completely.

Moved in just a mile or two away & gave Maciano’s a shot right away. This location is pick up only but this is our last minute dinner of choice or when I have family in town. We always get the thin crust it is some of the best thin crust I’ve ever had. And for Friday/Saturday/Sunday nights we can usually get our pizza delivered within 30 minutes.

They have wonderful pasta options that taste great, however, their pizza is dismal with a frozen, cardboard-like crust. We never order pizza from here any longer, though we often have the Fettuccini Alfredo with Chicken — it’s very good.

Ordered a delivery pizza. It was 20″ pie loaded w toppings all for $ 30. There were 8 giant slices. Even the biggest eater in the family could only eat one pice. It was delicious and a great value. On line ordering was a little time consuming to set up. Would have gotten 5 stars if this step were easier. Definitely recommend.

Love the thin crust and deep dish! Family salads are always fresh! The sauce is superb! Delivery in under and hour! What more could you ask for.

I live down the street and this is my go to pizza place. My favorite pizza is the spinach, tomato, garlic and mushroom. The eggplant parm is pretty good too. The tiramasu is either right on point or frozen solid so it’s a crap shoot. The staff is exactly the same crap shoot as the tiramasu… Either awesome or just plain awful, but it’s close, I can order online and always have a coupon.

We moved to these here parts of Aurora almost 2 years ago. I haven’t felt compelled to write a review for Maciano’s until today, almost 2 weeks before I relocate out of Chicago. I ordered a pizza last night and I knew it would be the last time I order there before we move. From day one their pizza has always been consistently delicious. I have absolutely no complaints to even provide. It always comes to us somewhere between acceptably warm or hot(we always order for delivery). The drivers are always nice. Their sauce is my favorite around and I love how the crust is ALWAYS crispy, never soggy or spongy. I didn’t think it would get any better until yesterday… Yesterday we were about to make dinner but then realized the chicken we bought was spoiled. So of course, what do you do when facing this type of situation? Pizza! Except we have been eating like crap lately since we’ve been hitting up all these restaurants before our move. We thought we could order us an olive oil pizza with garlic, spinach, and mushrooms(yeah, yeah, it’s still pizza but it’s not as heavy without the sauce). What was delivered to us was something that I now resent myself for not ordering it sooner. The pizza was not over cooked, but the crust still crispy. There was just enough garlic to taste, but not over powering. The mushrooms were plentiful but didn’t make the pizza watery. The spinach was present but not overwhelming. This fine specimen of pizza is the reason I gave Maciano’s 5 stars instead of 5. In closing, I’ll be thinking about Maciano’s when I move to a place where pizza will be a foreign language. Always know Maciano’s, when I think of pizza while I’m away, you will always come to mind. Goodbye my love.

I am actually kind of torn between 3 and 4 stars on Maciano’s, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt with a 4 star review. We order our pizza from here pretty frequently. Enjoy their thin crust and enjoy the bread sticks… Which are more like bread«puffs» but are very good in their marinara dipping sauce. Their butter garlic is good as well, if they include it in the order when you order it. I have ordered it several times but only got it 2 times out of the like 5 I ordered it. Do NOT order just before they close(10pm Sun-Thurs and 11pm Fri and Sat). We ordered on a thursday at 9pm. The pizza was not as good and they gave us like a half order of the bread sticks when we ordered. They always have some good coupon deals, check their website, and you can order online and track the order which is very nice.
