Food is always fresh and consistently good. The service is wonderful. Melissa is always attentive and provides excellent service. I have never been disappointed in Shadis! Keep up the great work!

Always good. Some of the best mediterranean food in the Merrimack Valley. If it’s even in the valley.

Wow is this place average. The food isn’t bad, but it sure isn’t good. The rice has almost no flavor and the meat is tough. The waitress was no where to be found until she handed us the check. I would never go back or recommend this place.

Shadi’s has something to offer. Driving by you notice the parking lot is full & so is inside the restaurant. Ive been here a few times & can’t for the life of me understand why. The latest visit we were a group if 6 for an early Saturday dinner. Our reservation was at 4:30& we were seated right away. Our server was friendly but evidently unable to handle keeping up with a party of 6. She took our drink order and in what seemed to be an eternity came back with half — the other three had to wait awhile longer… Strange. A basket of bread which ended being 4 pieces for 6 people was put on the table with packets of butter… HELLO. Those who were waiting for drinks, we have the go ahead to enjoy the bread. I did order an app which needed bread — none was brought. Time went by as I sat with it in front of me as I waited — the server was nowhere to be seen. We beckoned over another, asking to please have our server return. It did no good — after more than 30/minutes! I got up & asked the host — nothing! She came with our meals… I was just about at the end of my rope. However I was hungry & managed to eat most of the boring salad served to me, along with skewered veggies that may have been grilled? My dining companions were not impressed either. It was just okay. So, hmmmm will I remember this experience when I drive by & see the full parking lot & all the diners? Yes, I will & I won’t return again

A quick update since last July… The Greek salads improved dramatically — they now actually contain feta, onions and olives and the dressing is much better. Like usual, the food was pretty good but nothing great. The problem with Shadi’s remains the same… poor service! Mixed up drinks, multiple requests for water, hurried and borderline rude wait staff has become the norm. I don’t know if the blame lies with the staff or the owners who continue to short staff the restaurant. My young family likes the food and recommends we visit more frequently but the poor service keeps me away except for 2 or 3 times per year. It seems like an easy fix but this place never seems to change.

Been to Shadi’s several times. Always ordered Lebanese but felt like having fish. I think I’ll stick to the specialties of the place. It was OK but not great. My main complaint is the service. No warm and fuzzy feeling here. Never cleared the table when our entrée was served and the only drink we ordered was not right. A friendly smile goes a long way. This last time we were here we experienced the same type of service. Had to ask for our water glasses to be refilled and for more bread. Hope I’m not coming off as too picky but the service is part of the dining experience.

I’ve eaten Lebanese food all over the world and it doesn’t get any better than this. The flavors of the food my friend’s mom used to make all came back here. The arabic plate was delicious and the Kibbee Balls were something i’d never had and would order them again. They even show you how some of the food is prepared while you wait. Nice local, I’m guessing, family establishment. If you need anything just ask and its there. Excellent prices and portion sizes. Generous pours on wine and great Cosmos!

I have no idea why this restaurant has so many mixed reviews, because everything was wonderful! My husband and I ate here for the first time this evening and we were thoroughly impressed. The place was packed, which gave the restaurant a nice atmosphere. The décor is nice and classy without being too formal. We started with the cold mezza appetizer and it was enormous — I’d say it can easily feed four as a starter. The mezza was delicious and the presentation was also very nice. It was served with about 10 pieces of pita, which was way more than we could eat. We also ordered 2 wraps and they were both enormous and fantastic; everything was cooked to perfection. We finished everything off with an order of baklava, which was decent, but different from what I had expected. Everything, including drinks, came to about $ 45, which is a deal… and we left with enough food for tomorrow’s lunch or dinner. Fantastic! We’ll definitely be returning!

Authentic Lebanese food. Really good. We ordered the stuffed grape leaves-a fav-and kibe-a bite dry with ought adding some oil or lemon juice. We also had stuffed peppers which are tasty but, not my favorite. The stuffing was well seasoned and hot. My two slight disappointments was the Syrian bread isn’t the freshest nor even warm. Also the waitress in my opinion was cold, inattentive, and forgetful. Good all around if you love this cuisine.

The only reason this gets one star is because the Baba ganoush was awesome. Wish I could say that about the rest of meal. Waitress could care less. Drinks arrived well after the appetizer. My wife’s dish was tasteless and just plain weird. My stuffed cabbage leaves not much better. Appetizer plates and finished cocktail glasses never removed when main courses were served. Maybe they had an off night… but what we experienced didn’t come close to authentic Lebanese cooking! Everyone deserves a second chance, but it’s going to be a long while before this places gets mine. Note: My dining experience was about a month ago.

Very few restaurants in the area can give you an authentic Lebanese flavor and this is one of them. All dishes are seasoned to taste. Meat and vegetable and look and taste very fresh. I always look forward to eating and Shadi’s.

Oh. That wasn’t good. Took a chance it may have gotten better and did some takeout. Unfortunately no luck. I’m hungry but not hungry enough to eat this. Chicken shwarma sandwich was totally soggy(with in a minute of pickup), and had no flavor. Salad was passable, but feta was totally bland. Fries were a mess. Falafel had a strange texture. Even the pita didn’t seem fresh. Too bad as I really like Mediterranean/Lebanese food. Oh well.

One of the best Middle Eastern restaurants in the area. We had lamb on the stick which was lean and tasty, and then we had the Arabic platter which was great… Very clean place, excellent, and the french fries are to die for. The staff is great and very helpful, can’t say enough about this place. Will be going back there soon!

I have been going to shadis for 20 years now and everything I am home on leave I meet there with the family. I stick to the more traditional food. The grape leaves, stuffed cabbage, kibbeh, hummus, Lima beans and rice, are all out of this world. Their food is on whole different level. I don’t know how they roll those grape leaves so tight they are like little meat cigars of deliciousness.

This has really become a regular place for hubbie and I to enjoy dinner. He loves their lamb(I don’t like or cook lamb). I have yet to have anything bad here. They are also very sensitive to food allergies and although I have a tree nut allergy I feel comfortable with their knowledge and their food handling procedures. The broiled haddock is always fresh. Their rice pilaf is to die for… as is the hummus(which you can purchase by the container to bring home).

Their baba ganoush actually made me LIKE eggplant. That — alone — is a monumental accomplishment. We tried a variety of items. Loved every one of them. OK — maybe the baklava not so much(I think it’s a question of recipe and what you’re used to, others might find it to be the best they’ve ever had). Waitstaff is friendly, attentive, and helpful.

Stop by this place every now and then for takeout for the fam. My dad loves the foreigness of this place and always gets grape leaves or something different. I will usually go for the chicken kabob wrap and my sister opts for a healthy dish. This place is good if youre staying in on a friday night watching a movie and want to take something home to snack on during the flick.

This is a favorite of some of my favorite people. I have been here often usually for lunch. The food is authentic Lebanese according to my friends. Everyone raves about the French fries. Me, I’m not so impressed. I guess I like Greek better than Lebanese. As for the falafel I like other places a little better. It is a good restaurant, good food, good service just not my favorite.

Hummus with meat is an awesome side the slivered almonds are so tasty it is a must try. They have a great Arabic plate, Baked Kibbee, Grape Leaves, Stuffed Cabbage, rice pilaf. The same owners of the original place in Methuen, which burned down. The atmosphere in this place is much nicer, and they have a great bar.
