I gotta say, this place offers some of the friendliest, most fun and engaging experiences I’ve ever had at a retailer. The people here remember you. They like to make small-talk, but they also watch the news and sports, and they enjoy a good conversation. I like being able to have more than just a generic interaction like every other business I ever frequent. This place is unique. The liquor selection is very utilitarian. You’ll find all the staples and the most popular solutions and suspensions, but you’re unlikely to find something unique. This is a basics beer-and-wine-slash-liquor location. If you want something different, collectible or snobbish, you’re in the wrong place. If you are feeling a little adventurous, the left half of the store as you walk in from the parking lot has some local beers. Pretty much everything is an IPA, which I hate, but it’s nice to see some regional variety. They’re all warm, so if you want one of these, be ready to wait for it to chill. The nice thing about this place is that they have a good selection of sales and they carry all the good, solid, commercial beers. You can get a good array of Yuengling, Coors, Miller and Budweiser, so if you have simple tastes, a short budget and a hankering for a 12-pack, this place is perfect. What’s more, you can score a successful late-night beer run during choice sporting hours, so you never have to run dry during a Celtics, Pats, Sox or Bruins game. Also, kudos to Bill, the connoisseur who runs the counter during the day. He’s a really good all-around guy. :)

As far as i know this is the only liquor store open after 9 that sells craft beer in this area. While their selection isn’t bad, i hear them talk about how great it is so often that i find it kind of annoying(just because you have a large selection with a lot of shit doesn’t mean you have a great selection). The guys that work here are really really cool and helpful, and the prices are reasonable.

This is the place in town to gather your spirits together. The combination of the selection & prices make it your best choice. Huge wine selection. Nice looking store, they even have a plasma TV. Walk right through to the convenience store & Dunks & you have one stop shopping. Plenty of parking easy to get too.

This is by far my favorite packie ever. I’ve been coming here since I was a plump lil’ Jeffrey H with my mom on her quest to buy her Pinot Grigio. The guys who run the counter are wicked nice, polite, chatty without being annoying, and all around cool guys. They keep the line moving fast and will even help you load booze into your trunk if you have too much to carry in one trip – not that I ever buy mass quantities of alcohol or anything. I don’t see Blanchard’s or the NH State Liquor Store ever helping people carry their treasures. And sure it’s up in the Merrimack Valley where hardly any Bostonian will voluntarily venture out to, but lemme tell you somethin… when you’re in the Merrimack Valley, you’ll need to be drunk more than ever. And dear lord, please look at their website… words can’t explain.
