I’m not gunna lie… my doctor’s office is pretty ghetto. The building itself looks like an abandoned shack with an abused parking lot surrounding it — not so welcoming. The waiting room is just odd — a bunch of mismatched chairs, a random leather couch, modern light fixtures, and a TV with CNN’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta telling the patients how we’re all killing ourselves by doing ‘x, y, and z.’ Thanks doc. So why haven’t I switched? Because I love the staff and that’s what really matters in medical practice. The people here are friendly and willing to help you out when you need it. They also have a blood lab inside and the woman who works there is amazing at her job — she’ll chat about her son, your life, whatever — and before you know it you’re all done without feeling a prick. Which is great, since I’m a 6’2″ baby. So if you ever see Jeffrey H. parking his car in a a deserted parking lot and walking into an abandoned building, don’t worry, he probably has a check-up. Or is buying drugs. Either or.(Prescription only, of course).
