First off, the fees they tack on are ridiculous and the receipt didn’t make any sense to me, but I’m still not used to Pennsylvania and its whole DMV-type-services-available-from-non-DMV-locations thing, so I guess I deserved to be ripped off. I suppose you’re paying for convenience, but I waited forever for my turn anyway, so it wasn’t convenient at all. But the part that really irritated me was the service. The service I received was fair, if mildly unpleasant, but the family before me was treated horribly. The woman at the counter actually suggested that she was having trouble completing their title transfer because they were watching her. What?! She said most people look somewhere else. They weren’t leering at her or anything. They were standing there. We all were! And when the grown son told her to have a nice day when they were all done, she completely ignored him. And again, it’s not like she was nice to me, at all, but she was so rude to that family, I can only think it was due to their foreign appearance. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Two stars for the fact that they did what I needed them to do, but I will never go back.
Danni I.

This place quotes a particular service fee, but then charges additional fees for the license plate, printing paperwork, and notarizing required documents. If one were to go to PennDOT for registering a vehicle, all of these things would be included in the fee, as they are for other auto tag places. You think you’re paying only $ 50 or so more to get it all done at a private business, but then $ 40 more is tacked on as hidden fees. This is a rip-off!
