Ok, so after my bad experience the manager(Patrice) called me and offered to do my hair free of charge(except I had to purchase new hair). I was excited because after spending that much money($ 180.00 not including the hair) and then be so dissatisfied that I took it out within the first week was really bothering me. I was a bit nervous, but because it was the manger I felt confident that she would do a good job. She was very professional and gave me a great consultation. She understood exactly what I was looking for and she delivered. The actual sew is was good, but the styling could have been better. I will take some of the blame for that because the hair I brought was not a good quality hair at all. I usually use Sensational hair and it has never done me wrong, but because Outré Premium(purple pack) had the ombré 1B/30 I was looking for, I went ahead and brought that instead. WORSEDECISION I COULDHAVEEVERMADE. This hair is so thin and it sheds really bad. I could have received better results with a cheap synthetic blend hair and that’s sad. Overall it was not the best sew in I have ever had, but it of course was not the worst. I would revisit the shop and let her do my hair again if they did not have that $ 25 charge for bringing your own hair. I think that needs to be changed, but that is just my personal opinion. I really just wanted to update my review and let you the consumer know that I had an issue and it was rectified.

Let me start by saying this was my very first sew-in ever in life! And i really loved how the lovley lady at the front desk was so kind to me. She helped me figure out what length i needed(14 inches, not too long). She was kind enough to shampoo me and talk to me about the whole process, seeing that it was my first time. My stylest name was Jay. She wasn’t much of a talker, but she got the job DONE! I belive it was the end of her day so she was a bit tired. BUt i really loved how FAST she was. Ms, Jay was moving, and it came out so perfect! I will be returning to Ms. Jay and the Spa next month!

The prices are pretty good, but they aren’t too great with cutting. if your looking to do something as basic as a partial sew in then I would recommend

After reading the reviews I was nervous to go to the salon but I decided to try it out after I heard it was under new management. I went in as a walk in on a Saturday and expected to wait a while but tI was in the chair in less than five minutes. My stylist was patience while I was trying to decide what hair to purchase. She was fast and very professional. The shop was clean and had a postive atmosphere. I loved my hair and was very impressed.

It was a horrible experience. I walked in around 1000 on Sarurday. There was a few people ahead of me. I asked the braider since my hair is so short would she be able to braid my hair she said yes. After waiting for about an hour or so I asked the front desk representative if they where going to braid another head any time soon? She said no, in about an half an hour. I then asked if I could run to the store a few doors down I would be about ten minutes or less she said fine. I came back with in that time frame and they had already taken two more people one who came in after me. Finally around 1200 I was called to the back to get braided. I asked if they were to be able to finish my hair by 1500 because I had to go to work and If she would be able to braid my hair all up and just do a complete weave. She replied yes it could be done by then but we need to leave some hair out the save time. I told the stylist that my weave didn’t match my hair color. She said she could blend it. I said okay we and proceeded. The stylist took the whole three hours to complete my weave. This is not including washing my hair. They advised me after I wanted for about two that washing your hair is extra. The next day I realized that my leave out was way to much and that it did not blend at all with the weave also I had a big clump of weave at the side on my temple. The store name that was on my debit card statement was not coming up in the directory. This is because that wasn’t the name of the store. Finally I found the name and number. I called and the rep said she would have the manager call me back. A day later still no return call. So I went in on my lunch break the manager had never got the message. She assigned another stylist to fix my hair later on that day. A week later I realized that my weave was not attached to my hair from the middle of the back of my head all the way down to neck. I could stick my fingers completely under the weave and it was not attached at all. The stylist said it should last a month or so. It hadn’t even been three weeks. I am so angry and disappointed.

Don’t waste your time! They double book! The first time, I found the place by chance going to a nearby restaurant. The receptionist that night was very pleasant and very informative so I had high hopes. I called later that week to check availability and was told that I can walk-in, I let them know I was going in at that time. They could have let me know over the phone that there wasn’t anyone available for another three hours! So I had to find out when I got there. I decided to schedule an appt. for 4pm the next day. The manager, who was going to do my hair told me to come in at that time and she would be available. I went, waited an hour, then was told that the wait time was another hour on top of that. Why schedule someone at a time that you already had another appointment scheduled? Someone came in after me that was taken by her. And this was the manager who was supposed to do my hair? Horrible customer service.
